Good Earth Restaurant

Good earth offers very great food and service. I 100% recommend it. Also they go and give their staff vacation for like a month in the summer, which is rare for restaurants and I as a customer actually think it's amazing!

My favorite chinese restaurant. Food was ready when promised for take out. Dishes were hot and tasty. For $100 we had more than enough food for 7 adults.

Wow! The food was so amazing, it was the most food I've eaten in one sitting in months! Seriously! The gentleman who served me at the till was extremely kind and hospitable. It's hard to pick a favourite dish from what I ordered, but if I had to, it would have to be the beef lo mein! YUM!

Not the biggest buffet, but the quality is there. As a Buffet goes this is the best value. Quality. And price under 17$ drink extra. It is my favourite. Others have more but quality is lost. I think there should be a change in the star ratings should be based on 10 and then also the type of restaurant. I agree with The star rating at 4.3 I’ll give it a five only because I don’t think it’s fair to give it a four and bring down the rating! As buffets go. Best quality little place. Worth a stop for the hungry but still like quality! We do order takeout from here on occasion I recommend the shrimp black bean sauce goes excellent on white rice! Breaded veal!

Received the wrong dish, then when i called to tell them it wasn’t the one i ordered, the man l on the phone argued with me for 5 minutes telling me that it my fault (no one our house likes the dish, that’s how i know i would never order it), and then offered no solutions. Will never order from here again.

We have been ordering from Good Earth for about 4.5 yrs now. We tried many local chinese food places and found that Good Earth has the best Chinese food. We order in more than go to the restaurant and they have never been a disappointment. We travel a lot and Good Earth is added to one of our fave food places in the world. I have never been a fan of breaded gingerbeef but when we ordered the soft ginger beef I was so impressed that even if we switch it up that stays on our order list. Its a must to have. I am impressed at how articulate they are at keeping the restaurant. The decor is out dated. Over all dinning in is a nice warm inviting feeling! The staff is very kind. We moved to Edmonton 2 yrs ago and we still haven't found a chinese food restaurant that is as good or better.

Went for lunch buffet. Not much to choose. No egg rolls or spring rolls, OR consume soup. Freezing cold as well, felt like no heat on at all.
