Grand Beach Provincial Park

If you want to experience something similar to the ocean in manitoba. This is the right place to go.

Beach and lake are great. Doogie Beach at East Beach or Lagoo. Only complaint is the campground roads are a mess and need gravel bad. Large holes!

Great beach, on a Sunday, 31°C, beach was quite full at 12 but by 4-5 pm opened up alot, water stays shallow for a good while so it's alot of fun for the whole family.

I've loved coming here since I was a kid. Now I've taken up Paddle boarding and have another reason to come enjoy

Our first time visiting Grand Beach and it was ok. Staff were driving up and down the beach working but people were still having fun. A very pretty area to check out. We arrived early in the afternoon and stayed to the early evening. We even made fast friends with a little ground squirrel who decided to help himself to our sandwiches and cheese in our cooler bag. The only downfall was the early evening tide bringing waves to shore with garbage, dead catfish, and extremely dirty smelly brown water. With that said, the facilities available at Grand Beach were very clean, at least the day we went they were. It was a nice first time adventure visiting this location for this lobster and her fiance.

Simply paradise. Best sand for a beach in North America. Great community! Awesome facilities. Great place for everyone!

Best public beach in Manitoba, can get pretty crowded on good days of course. Beautiful sand, shallow warm water, and neat sand dunes. Plenty of amenities, little shops and food, and near plenty of great hiking trails to explore and discover.

Grand Beach is the closest you will get to an ocean experience in the middle of the continent. The sand is beautifully white, and the lake is so large you forget you are inland at all. Concessions were great, with good variety, and the boardwalk is newer and kept very tidy. Would have liked options to rent things such as boogie boards. Have not explored other areas of the park at this time.

We are pretty new to Manitoba and so far we have only visited 3 beaches: Gimli, St. Malo and Grand beach. From these 3 we liked the Grand beach most.

I hope the city stops polluting are great gift of grand beach. Too many times their are warnings of sewage.
