Today it felt like the pastry cream inside the Boston cream donuts was not as good. It used to be amazing today it reminded me of timmies. I hope they didn't cut corners and go down to an inferior product. Especially now thar they're 3 bucks a piece. Step it back up GD!

Always excellent! We go for donuts and we stay for the Vietnamese food. Can't go wrong either way. The bread for the banh mi is baked fresh twice daily and is wonderful. The lemongrass steak is so tasty! My understanding about the donuts is that they have continued a bunch of classic recipes from when this place was a Robin's. The walnut crunch and apple fritters are amazing! I'm not usually a traditionalist when it comes to donuts and baked goods in general, but these are a treat. Great hours. Worth the trip from anywhere in the city and beyond.

The donuts are the best in the city. They are actually made fresh! With care and real ingredients too. If you like apple fritters there are fresh pieces of apple in it. Bismarcks are always fought over in our house.
The bakery isn't wheelchair accessible to get in the door but once you're in it's worth the challenge. Plenty of room inside for a wheelchair.

TIPS. I have spoken to several former employees of Grand Donuts. Aside from some toxicity on the owners part, part of their decision to leave was because the owner did not disperse tips collected from the customers. So unless we know for sure that the employees are benefiting from the tips, consider if you feel a tip is warranted. I will no longer tip at Grand Donuts or I will personally hand the tip to the employee! SAD.

Not open Tuesdays even though Google says they're open. Service is horrible. Prices are horrible. Staff don't know if they're coming or going. Never have any products (eg. Rice, chicken) in stock. When ordering it took almost 45 minutes to make a coffee and fries. Simply because they forgot. Just over all not a good place.

Delicious, fluffy donuts made the classic way, don't sleep on the Bahn mi-just give yourself some time, service seems to get overwhelmed from time to time

Great real donut. Friendly clean restaurant that had Vietnamese food too! Lots of parking in front.

Best donuts in the city and very good sandwiches. Even the egg salad that my grandpa got was loaded with delicious toppings (the best he ever had). Mom loves the noodle bowls and pho. Bubble tea is made with real fruit.

As far as donuts go it was better than Tim Horton's but than again most places are. Tried the charbroiled pork noodle bowl. Was not impressed. Portions were generous enough but could have used more veg. Meat was a bit sour tasting and rubbery. The bahn mi lemon grass pork sub was decent but the meat again was nothing special at all. There are far, far better Vietnamese places with better pricing as well. Donuts I'd give **** out of *****

Order took awhile to prepare, longer than I anticipated compared to similar walk in places. Salad rolls fall apart though are okay tasting. The pork sandwhich was very tasty, fresh bread. The donuts are underwhelming and dissapointing; ordered a whipped cream filled donut and it was a tiny layer on one half. Updated to 4 stars there bubble tea is really good, salad rolls were wrapped a bit neater at most recent visit. Every time I go they seem to miss or miss hearing something on my order which can be disappointing. Long lines (slow) to order and receive food during busy times
