Great Canadian Oil Change

The folks were very polite and courteous. And very helpful with servicing my vehicle and explaining any issues that they found.

It's the third time I come here today, they told me that the engine oil is still looking good and no need to change it in another 2000-3000 kilometers. They are real focusing on your vehicle and not just making money from your pocket. Then I changed the transmission oil today because it'a looking not fresh so far. I like here.

Excellent customer service! Joseph did an amazing job telling me about their process and how locations in BC differ from the rest of the province. He eloquently told me that they couldn’t do much about the previous experience with Great Canadian Oil Change in Vernon stripping my bolt however they do replace oil pan bolts for free so it wouldn’t be an issue going for them to change the oil.

It did take a bit to get into the bay but once in; they did an amazing thorough job. Topped up coolant, windshield fluid and also checked my tire pressure. Standard procedure done epically.

Simon was a great help, had some issue with my car so went into the oil change shop spoke with Simon and he came outside and got my car running and in tip top shape.

We were in the drive-through at Tim Hortons on Pembina and the hose went on our rad. We pulled over into the parking lot at great Canadian oil and immediately staff ran out and told us to get out of the car because of the smoke coming from the engine. Mike came out and replaced the clamp that had gone on our hose and filled our rad with fluid amazing customer service! We have always gotten our oil change with this company and it’s just solidifies what an amazing organization they are. Highly recommend. Anybody that is looking for awesome customer service, as well as thoughtful service staff do not hesitate to go here! Thank you again, Mike!

Took my Aunts car in for an oil change as the light indicated it was necessary. (Newer car, very few kms but seldom driven). Guys got to work but after checking things out I was told that the oil was clean and topped right up and it wasn’t really necessary. Added some air to a couple of tires and sent me on my way. Great guys and so appreciated their kindness. Will definitely go back.

The staff did a great job. They changed the oil in less than 20 mins and replaced my air filter.

They were thorough, had some recommendations but were also very respectful of my decisions

Wonderful service as always. My guy tonight remembered me from last time which was nice. I choose to come back specifically because of how kind he and his colleague were on my precious visit, so it was nice to see he remembered a positive customer service experience as well several months later.

I recently visited Great Canadian Oil Change for an oil change and was thoroughly impressed with their service. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, specially Imtiaz, who is very knowledgeable, and efficient. They explained the process to me and answered all of my questions, making me feel confident in their work. The oil change itself was done quickly and professionally, and they even did a complimentary inspection of my vehicle to ensure everything else was in good working order. Overall, I highly recommend Great Canadian Oil Change for their excellent service and quality work. When I called the person answering was so nice and helpful. When we arrived the next day, we got in right away and watched cars on either side being serviced. Every staff member was knowledgeable, polite, nice and seemingly happy. We were impressed and would definitely recommend this location!

GCOC idn't have the correct air filter for our Nissan. Reinstalled the existing one BACKWARDS, causing $1800 engine damage. Not advised of "warranty" conditions, had damage repaired, now they won't reimburse because they didn't get to inspect the catastrophic mess they caused. How hard is it to install an air filter? I found dozens of YouTube videos and they ALL warned about installing them the correct way. Crooks and liars.

Hours should say from 9: 00 a.m. Not 8: 00 a.m. I rolled up after a night shift. Hoping to get a quick oil change done at opening. Got there at 5 minutes after 8: 00 and everyone was still sitting in the parking lot in their cars and somebody was just unlocking the door. Then one of the staff came directly from their car to tell me that they were having" trouble with the garage door". But they had just walked in and weren't open on time. So they needed 10 15 minutes to try and open the business. Needless to say I went to super lube.

It was my first time trying GCOC. I usually use the competition. I was very impressed with the overall treatment and amazing quality of work. I needed the fluid on my rear differential changed and also decided to get the crankcase fluid and an oil change too. The staff is A+. Will definitely be back. Thanks

Left there to find oil leaking from vehical, they had installed oil drain plug wrong! Vehical lost a litre over night. Communication was sketchy.

My go-to spot for oil changes. Quick service and always friendly. They do try to upsell you for extra services, but I think that's fairly common for places like these. Prices are fair, they often have coupons and do discounts (for certain types of employment) so it's even more affordable. Close to Timmie's and a booster juice to make your oil change a little treat for yourself, too.

Very friendly crew, tried to upsell me a bit but that's a standard practice and they weren't pushy. When I said I didn't want anything other than the oil change, they were super respectful. We had to wait in line before we got in, and they apologized several times for making us wait even though it's obviously not their fault as it was busy and they served people fast. Great experience overall.

Went for a routine oil change on our 3 year-old car, only ever had the dealership do oil changes.was told that a piece broke off and they were having trouble. 45 minutes later and one of the employees told us that's how they found it. If they're taking the filter off and broke it, how could they have found it that way?

First of all, thanks boys I made it to Calgary. When I was here, I don't think I was oversold goods. My brake lights did need changing and it was cheaper to do it here as they had discounts. They tried to fix my windshield washer spout and hose. Just a temporary fix to make my car usable and I can see. So thank you. I didn't get his name but he was asian like me.

They got us in 4 min before closing, and we're very polite, asked us about tire checks, also air filter they did not appear to be upset by our late arrival, we appreciated it so much! Sorry to leave 30 min after closing! You dudes were great!

First time. A whole team works on your car. You're in and out before you know it and they check everything. Any issues they tell you first, give you a quote, and you can have it fixed before you leave. My wiper blades were shot and I didn't know one of my tail lights needed a bulb. Not anymore!

Heard nothing but good things, so decided to see for myself. Friendly courteous staff, and great service. I will be bringing my vehicles here from now on. Highly recommended!

Greased my ball joints, front and rear u-joints, idler and pitman arm on my 4x4, no charge (9 points).

However couple of issues
My vehicle only uses synthetic oil which as oil change company they should know to use this only.
They did not have the air filter for my vehicle, so placed the dirty one back in.
They undid the front portion of the protectective undercarriage cover to do there oil change. Which came down on my travels about 15 minutes after I left there shop and I had to pull over as could not travel with it hanging down. I called them as I was stranded on hwy and they sent someone to help about 1 hr later (thankful) He took it right off, told me that they will put it back on when I can get back there. They apparently need permission to order the screws to put it back on, this conversation went back and forth couple times. Told them to forget about it as where I usually go for oil change would be able to do this without issues. I will probably not go back to one of these places ever again as I never had issues with my regular place. I only went here as I was going out of town on emergency trip.
