Happy Dog's Grooming

Have to give 1 star to leave a review. To say the least, I will not be returning to this place. I feel the establishment needs training with patients' respect and professionalism. Don't go here if it's the last place on earth with water. You would definitely be taking your pet to the vet after for something as I had to.

Definitely gonna go back. Was an awesome experience! They groomed my dog exactly how I wanted it.

Love this groomer, I have large 2 high maintenance dogs and they both get taken care of here, Mats, knots, burs and all.

Love this place! We take our gals here for de-shedding. They come back looking and feeling like a million bucks! Highly recommend. (They also have what looks to be a well run "doggie daycare") Have not used the service to date, but I'm confident to say it's on par with the grooming services

Took my poodle here for a nail trim and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Great services and friendly staff.

These ladies were amazing! Our girl is not usually good with grooming but they made her feel so comfortable! I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much for taking such good care of Maya today! We brought her in pretty matted because we were having such a hard time finding a groomer but she looks amazing!

The Crew of ladies at Happy Dogs grooming treated my dog as if it was there own. When I picked him up he was glowing and wiggling like crazy. Absolutely the friendliest top notch service.

The workers here are always very kind and patient. They spoke with us if there were any changes to scheduling ahead of time. Accommodated for my dog that tends to be scared of other dogs and made him look cute. He was still covered in loose fur when I picked him up. Price does tend to be a bit high in relation to the quality of service - no extras provided such as the usual bandanas that other groomers give or anything really above and beyond. Hassle free process and my dog didn't seem to hate it anymore than usual!

Took our pomsky and he came back super fresh. My wife noticed his butt had some uneven cut hair that was likely missed but all in all was a good experience overall. Will likely go again and try their deshed service next.

The prices are great. There was no sign that said Happy Dogs Grooming inside, so when you walked in you're not sure where to go and it took time for someone to come help us

Never coming back! Brought my dog in for a nail trim. Without asking if he's OK with other dogs (he's not) the coworker walked him through the doggie daycare. I then heard my dog have an altercation with a dog there. And then the worst - him screaming in pain.
When he was brought back, he was very stressed. I asked about him crying and if they'd hit the quick while trimming his nails.
The coworker said no, everything went OK. She did point out he'd dad a broken nail (which I knew about) so she left that toe alone. No mention about the altercation, which I clearly heard.
When I checked my dog out at home, it looks like the quick was hit on 2 nails - which means the worker lied. Flat out lied about hurting my dog.

My miniature Pomeranian loves her sylist, and the sweet loves she gives her.
Plus she looks and smells amazing!

They told me not to bring back my yorkie unless I had a vet give her a sedative because she becomes wiggly when it comes to her paws being touched.

I called on Monday asking if they had a slot and they informed me, they don't but will provide me with a slot for next week and today when I arrived at their place they're telling me my appointment was last Wednesday.how can I book for past day? ! And they told me they didn't had any slots for the past week! Is Dr.strange working there? !

Just took my guy in today after he went and decided a roll around in his morning poo would be the best way to start the day. After bathing him at home and realizing his shampoo didn't do the trick, I called in hoping for a last minute opening. They got back to me in less than ten minutes and was able to get him in for a clean up and added on nail trim. Was super happy to get him back home fluffy and smelling good, I was happy to see he didn't seem stressed out at all either! He sure was in good hands and was sent home with the cutest bandana.

They did an amazing job grooming and as a new customer we got the free spa add-on.

I confirmed the price before I left and that the spa was free. Upon picking up they added $15.00 for "styling fee" I was upset and asked why this wasn't disclosed when I confirmed the price and I got an oops we can give you $5.00 off‍️.

I will be going back because they did such an amazing job. But this was really shady.

Took my spaniel border collie for a shave cause I had enough of the hair, they did a really good job. I'm very happy with how the dog looks.

Great service! Walk ins welcomed. Took both pups in right away for nail trims. In and out in 15 minutes. And extremely reasonable price! Will definitely be returning!

I took both my dog and my cousin’s dog to this location. They each had 9am appointments on different days and I was told to pick them up at around 1pm. Both times I had to pick them up an hour later. They also increase the price depending on the cut, so be prepared to spend around 15$ more than what is advertised. Their reasoning for the additional costs is if the haircut is long, then more brushing is required. The dogs came out looking great, but the service is a little questionable.

I’ve never had a problem with Petsmart being done on time and I’ve never had to pay extra costs when it came to the length of the cut or the amount of brushing that is required.

After the response, i’m going to have to change the stars from 3 to 1. When a customer voices out their concerns, as a professional, you should work with the customer to fix the problem and not put the blame back on them. Definitely not going to come back. I paid 84$ each for both small breed (Pomeranian-Shih Tsu) mixes. I didn’t have to wait, but i wasn’t going to go back home and then come back again since I was already there. I called before coming to pick up the dogs and was told both times that 1: 30pm the dogs would be done. Each time I arrived at around 1: 30pm, I still ended up leaving both times at 2pm.

There are a lot of horror reviews on FB about this location being abusive and unprofessional. I still thought I should give this place the benefit of the doubt. BUT I guess the FB reviews were right about this place.

I'll just say this: research past client reviews on social media before booking with this place. They wouldn't reimburse any past clients on vet expenses due to their negligence and clear lack professionalism, so why would they reimburse anyone else's?

It's never "normal" for your pet to come home from the groomers acting odd with an infection only days later where the groomer clipped them, no matter how these people phrase it. Requesting my dog to be groomed properly and having matted bits removed (safely) is up to the groomer's care and judgement. Plus, you had 4 hours to do the job safely! Take a little responsibility as a business owner instead of shifting the blame onto your clients. The vet said the groomer was negligent. Take care.

If you care about your pet, AVOID! Should be renamed to "traumatized dogs. " The groomer told me the groom would take 4 hours which was very unusual in my opinion. When I picked up my dog he seemed very odd and days later I found out that he was either shaved too close or nicked in his groin area (which got infected because no one told me when picking up my dog). We had a $150 hospital visit as he had a high fever. I was told later that this place has a really, really bad reputation but has good reviews, perhaps by staff, for some reason.

I've never had an issue with their services and their prices are good. My dog always comes back looking and smelling good

We've been a few times now and Harley, my tri-pawed pup, is always happy going there, in a great mood when I pick him up! I have to drive 20 minutes out of my neighbourhood to get there but it is worth the drive! I recommend Happy Dog's without hesitation!

The ladies @ Happy Dog's are #Amazing, they do wonderful work and treat ya like family. I would honestly recommend them to any body who wants their dogs to be spoiled. And the 4 month old puppy I am boarding was totally a happy dog and he looked and smelt so clean!

Friendly staff. Open weekends. They call when nearly done, so you can pick up your pet, right away.

They were really good about getting me an appointment not in a month or 2 weeks but in a few days! Friendly, explained everything in depth over the phone. Great communication! Has covid measured in place, limits people in the waiting are and does it efficiently. Let me know they also do spot work like walk in nail services (dogs only, I tried) even though my puppers was being difficult, they did a great job and in a timely fashion. Will be going back for sure.

Great service! Friendly staff. Came here for the first time and had a great experience. Jugnu seems to love his grooming section and moreover they gave a free grooming session to jugnu. He smells so good and looks fabulous! Definitely coming back for the next time. Highly highly recommend!

I specifically told them not to cut the top of her hair and to cut other other places and they didn't listen. I'm very upset as it takes a long time for her to grow her fur out.

We went to get our dog's nails trimmed and they were very quick and charged very little! Great place for a quick dog trim!

My appointment was changed a couple days before, which wasnt the problem. But when I came in on the new day, the groomer didn't know I was coming/wasn't expecting me. My first dog and first time ever bringing him to a groomer and I did not feel like they were open to listening to any concerns I may have had. Additionally, I booked a full groom for a small dog (17lbs) which I tried to pair with their first timer promotion of a spa package but when specified with the groomer, she said that it was just the groom being done. Upon pick up, I was charged for a medium dog. There is no indications on what they consider a small/med/large dog on their website. The groomer was nice during the interaction. Unfortunately, there are razor burns on my dogs inner groin area which he has been itching at since we picked him up. Wanted to love this place as it is a convenient location and the reviews were great, but it was not a good first impression for me and I will be trying elsewhere.

Service is great! Prices are reasonable and they care for your pet. I always bring my 85 lb pup here whenever he needs to be groomed professionally (or even just for nail clipping). I don't think I'll bring my pup anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Excellent service! They handled my dog Dali (Dalisay) with love and care! Despite of how timid and scared my dog was, she didn’t turn us away and kept trying her hardest! I felt so awful and sorry but she ensured me that everything was okay. I’m so impressed with the service, I recommend this place especially for puppies first time grooming! Will definitely come back here!

Carrot came today for grooming and they did a very great job on him. He looked good and smelt nice. Professional staffs! Will bring our second dog to them soon.

Everytime I come with my dogs for their nail trimming there is no wait. Nicole is fast and my dogs dont get stressed out. One of my dog's is epileptic so she sometimes gets stressed out with strangers. When I go there she's at ease.

I have a very very scared and timid husky cross. We've had a groomer turn us away because of how timid my dog seemed, that experience left me feeling insulted for my dog and just plan embarrassed. We were recommend Happy Dogs by a friend and have been there twice now to get her de-shedded and had great experiences both times. Leaving her there for hours was a little worrisome but I expressed my concerns the first time dropping her off and they really put my mind at ease. When we pick her up she always seems happy there. She smells amazing, feels amazing and sheds way less. They do a great job trimming the fur around the paws and trimming the nails, she has hip dysplasia so she hates it when her back paws get lifted or touched but they still always do a good job with her nails. I would defiantly recommend them for any over protective dog parents

I have been bringing both of my dogs here for forever and the groomers do an amazing job every single time. My younger pup, a Shihtzu cross named Artemis, tends to give them a hard time but they always make her look amazing (and unscathed despite being an overall restless pup)! They have been grooming my 13 year old bichon, Kiyra, since they were established and always make her as soft and cute as a peach! And idk what they use to make them smell sos good, but we love it! I used to take my Rotti× here for the summer to have his fur shaved down as the summer heat would be unbearable for him.

At first the groomer was a bit hesitant, but I insisted.

When it was time to pick Rebel up, I was astonished! She knew what I was talking about! He was so happy playing in the sun, and didnt have to go hide in the shade when he had all his fur.

I was so happy that I would take him there for his summer shave down, when I used to live in that side of the city.

Rebel passed 2 years ago, and just recently I have inherited a 4 month old shizhu. I'm so willing to drive to the other side of the city to get him groomed there.

Did a walk-in nail trim for the first time and was greeted cheerfully and was able to have it done right away. My dog hates having her nails done but the quickness made it bearable.

Staff here are very friendly, they offer a free first time puppy grooming. Brought my Doberman puppy in here for a grooming, he came home shiny, clean, and smelling so fine. We will be going back for sure, prices for the groomings are reasonable. Great job!

Had my shepherd cross groomed staff were nice treated my dog well she looked great when she was done. Price was reasonable. I will definitely be bringing my dog back when she's shedding again. I would recommend this place for pet grooming. Thanks for the great service
