Happy Lemon Winnipeg Polo Park

I used to go to their Regent location. The drink in this locations are the same good! I think it is the best bubble tea shop in Winnipeg. I can’t find the selections and rich flavours like them elsewhere.

Went there before 10pm, was in the area thinking it wouldnt be too busy. Was wrong. Waited 45 from start to finish. One girl working the drinks, she was awesome. I give her all the credit, reason why its not 1 star. Person taking orders seemed new? And always needed help when there was a door dash order to process. The other worker who just made the waffels could've helped make the drinks also, he kept disappearing. Was it worth the wait?

My favorite boba spot in winnipeg! The drinks are all delicious, the service is very fast and friendly, and the music they play instore is perfect haha.whoever is in charge of the playlist has perfect taste! I love going here.

This is not as good as it was last year. Our drinks all tasted more like they added mostly water in the drinks. Not the quality they once were. I do not recommend this place and last year I gave it 5 stars. One positive is they will have less calories then last year.

Can’t go wrong with Happy Lemon! My all time favourite Mango Matcha Latte with pudding and Boba Milk Tea with Puff Cream and Pudding. Very filling and delicious!

Trust me do yourself a favor and get the Caramel Macchiato slushy. Amazing drink, no other bubble tea/milk shake will come even close to that. Try it once and you will be hooked lol

Rich Oreo Chocolate Slushy added salty cheese and puff cream tastes really good! Super love it!

Their boba is mediocre at best and the wait time is ridiculous. I won’t ever make the mistake of coming here again. Also, please get your employees out of masks, covid isn’t a problem anymore. I could hardly hear the lady who was helping me out.

I’m a regular here and their boba’s g. Customer service is a hit or miss. Like one time, i got told i couldn’t change my order anymore.cus they already made it, but I haven’t paid for it lol. Also, they need a better packaging for their waffles when delivering.

Boba paw was closed so decided to try this place out instead, drink was good, customer service was…. Not, everyone seemed miserable to be there and it was kinda awkward lmao…. Like they were annoyed I came in almost? Don’t think I’ll come back

Called to make an order for pick up. Instead of saying they cant make an order for pick up. Made me wait for 10 mins and then when they are about to take my order she sound reluctant. And she cant focus on my order i asked her at this point if i should come in. She was like "ah yes ite better to come in its not busy anyways"

I ordered on skip it was ready super fast and they gave me a free bubble tea! I got lychee and pineapple 10/10

Came all the way here from regent because they didn't have boba at the other place which didn't make sense because its a BOBA shop but I came to this store anyways but management was really rude. I'm definitely not coming back here.

I order their caramel macchiato slush from Uber eats a lot. They’re always so yummy! The best bubble tea place ever in world haha. I wish they were more famous: (I’m glad I found this place from my friend:)

Incredibly fast service and the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. Ordered the hot pearl milk tea with 50% sugar (most basic option with pearls). The sauce was creamy and sweet… 50% is the perfect amount! Pearls were the softest, gummiest ever! Much better than even Chatime, my usual go to. Will definitely be returning to try the wide variety of beverages offered here. Also appreciated the extra large size for sharing. It’s comically large, lol. Rewards program could be better as it’s just a stamp card system and you need to buy ten drinks for a free one.
Overall, Happy Lemon is a sweet treat! Best bubble tea I’ve found in the city!

Hands down the best bubble tea place I have been to. Nice and friendly staff. I also like fact that they have a nice variety.

The manager there was dreadful. She yelled at her coworkers in a different language (I’m guessing some sort of Chinese language) and the staff looked extremely stressed. She was yelling at them so loudly you could hear it from outside. The poor workers messed up my order and got the drink all over the sides of the cup so it was extremely sticky. There were many people inside too. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a shop before. No one deserves to be treated so poorly, even if you had messed up. I’ll be telling my friends not to go there either. The drinks were ok anyways. Go to Coco for some actual good drinks and nice people

I live near by and let me tell you, I’m OBSESSED.
All staff have been nothing but amazing to me, but this weekend, Sunny went out of her way to recommend something new to me. I usually just get the regular boba milk tea with lychee jelly but her and her co-worker let me have a little taster of the salted cheese (always was curious/weirded out by it) and I loved it!
I got the strawberry green tea with salted cheese. I loved it so much I went back today to get the same thing but with blueberry tea.
I recommend this place to everyone and actually got a few of my friends addicted to it as well.

Last time, I saw their staff eating food in a tupperware in front. It is so unhygienic! Seriously? Why don't they have break? Why eat in front? I've never seen it before even in other shops only in Happy Lemon

I ordered here and ask for washroom. One male staff answered at very bad temper and don’t look at you and just slowly walk away. It is very disrespectful.

Just ordered through DoorDash, no straw provided, been calling Polo Park branch but no one is answering

Rude customer service. Always being pushed to upgrade the size.this time I asked for medium size and the girl (I think she is the manager) rudely said you could upgrade it to large size. I said no, I just need the medium please, and she just said, oh, we donot have medium size cups! What a joke! Will never come back. There are many other good bubble tea places in town with great customer service and polite staff.

Best Bubble Tea location in Winnipeg. So many type of drinks, flavors, toppings and staff are very friendly and quick to make your drinks!

Any drinks at Happy Lemon will not disappoint you, Although extra toppings are a bit expensive, they are worth it!

Hopefully in the near future, they build another Happy Lemon near McPhillips/Garden City!

I love boba and all bubbles teas, so when I saw Happy Lemon sold the popping boba I was over the moon. We ordered through door dash as we are college students and are currently in the red zone for covid. So only 4 out of 5 drinks arrived and when we contacted the store they offered little customer support or help and just continued to say they don’t know what they could do and that maybe the courier driver took our 5th drink. We contacted door dash and the customer support was outstanding and very helpful, we finally got through to happy lemon again but only after calling with a different number. We rang 5 times on one phone with no answer and the phone constantly wringing, called again with a different phone number, phone rang 3 times and someone picked up. I’d hate to believe they were ignoring a call but they did seem annoyed with us as we were calling back and forth many times trying to figure it all out. It sounded like they just didn’t have the time in the day for us. Every time I’d bring up that we only have 4 out of 5 drinks but 5 straws she’d laugh and say she doesn’t know what we want her to do. She kept saying they had security footage and that they are not wrong and did send out a 5th drink. We were told we would be contacted within the hour and never heard anything again. Very poor customer support, sad to say we will not be purchasing bubble tea from here again.

This place is a joke with a very rude staff handling me the drink without knowing the deal if the day. I ordered the salted carmel ice cream but guess what the rude staff just handed me the big container and let me to put my insanity hand into the big container to grab the unwrapped spoon! I can’t imagine she let how many dirty hands go through those spoons! That’s very unsanitary no matter what! All the best everyone! I go here often since it is a close drive from my house and it is delicious and refreshing. I crave it quite frequently and I definitely recommend the mango matcha tea latte (I prefer it with no bubbles!).

Friendly place. My new go to place! Just 100 meters from my workplace at Nice Hair Salon. Great drinks and love the milk tea with 3 toppings!

We went there 3 times and 2 out of 3 visits they were out of bubbles. It's especially even more of a disservice when one of the days for the grand opening you wait for for more than 60 minutes AND THEY ARE OUT OF BUBBLES. Do you know how remotely embarrassing that is for just the store and management? Knowing that there will be a high volume of people and you are unprepared? I can understand if you just opened but in the middle of the day during soft opening and not busy for a newly opened store. Also the bubble tea's are inconsistent in taste.

What a wonderful and cute boba tea joint! The interior is bright and cheery and the staff are friendly. Their unique and comprehensive tea menu will mean there will be something for everyone. It’s a great place just to stop in and grab a drink or to sit down and stay awhile. While it sounds unusual definitely give the salted cream cheese tea’s a try you won’t regret it.

Milk tea with salted cheese, and boba milk tea with puff cream are my favorites! We go there almost twice a week!

Pretty good. Went with the Jasmine Tea with Salty Cheese and 30% sugar. While it wasn't sweet enough for my tastes, it should suit those who want a more bitter/tea taste. I do enjoy the milk foam from GongCha more, but I still found my drink quite enjoyable and it grew on me over time.

The taro boba was interesting but I definitely prefer regular tapioca.

Their no. 1 drink, freshly squeezed lemon tea, was quite good with 50% sugar.

Having trouble with deciding on this rating. It's between a 4-5 right now. Unfortunately no 4.5.

I settled on a 4 because I'm unsure. If I find I crave it the way I did with my favorite bubble tea place (we ended up going back multiple times within a short period of time) i will upgrade the star rating.

There are a few things I really loved about this place. Like the parking. My favorite place has bad parking options in comparison.

One issue we had was there was no options without tea? I know this is a bubble tea place but having the wintermelon option would be great. Friend who doesn't love tea didn't have anything he could order. He ordered a drink but ultimately didn't like it.
This is a chain so I don't think they will make any adjustments if it isn't within its corporate guidelines.

Their cream cheese foam is more similar to what I had in Vancouver. The boba has a good consistency. Pricing seemed in line with other places. Our large drinks were $5.50

The milk tea with cream puff tastes so good. Will try a different next time. It's just a soft opening so I understand the adjustment the staff are going through. It must be hard with so many customers wanting to try their boba tea. Hang in there.

Staff are always so friendly! The mango matcha latte is my go to drink, but I would like it better if it also came in a large size instead of just a medium. Regardless, would definitely go back over and over again.

2nd time at this place, for some reason they only these small straw where the boba can barely fit through making it very difficult for me to enjoy my drink. The employee handed me the straw.

Went during a soft opening. The place was packed around 3 PM on a Saturday.

The choices of drinks have some similarities to other Boba Shops. However they do have their own specialties. So you'll definitely find something here to you'd like. The service was slow, but that's expected during soft opening.

The only reason for a missing star is that it felt that some of the drinks weren't as flavourful as others. But this is completely personal preference. I didn't make any adjustments to the drink,

Overall, friendly service, clean place, love that the location is close to the mall but not so close that you can't find parking. Would go again when they're fully open.

Went there and got the Lemon Black tea and it is really good! There was a but of a line but it went in a steady manner and everyone was friendly. A bit nervous to try the salted cheese drink though.

Bought two milk teas with 100% sugar. Both of them are bland. They probably forgot to out sugar because there is a lot of orders

New bbt loc. Always drank the chocolate w salted cheese. It's not very consistent flavoring. However, the deviation isn't so severe that it adversely adds to or takes away from the taste. Service is fairly efficient and quick the times I've been here. No much room to really hang back and chill. I feel that the space isn't being used efficiently. The decor is fairly basic.

Their milk Teas with respect to the price is quite affordable. For ne The taste is balance, that means not to sweet, not too bitter and not to milky. Its like a perfect blend. Im a coffee lover, but i liked their milk tea.
