IT IS unacceptable to have our identity asked in these establishments. This is against Canadian law 68. It's an abuse of power what these establishments are doing. I don't recommend these stores.

Despite its location it had great staff clean store and an abundance of selection

This store had everything that I wanted to buy.
Upon entering, you had to give your i.d. To someone behind a plexiglass window. She not only looked at it, but scanned it in a machine as though she was verifying its authenticity, and that it was valid.
As a tourist, I was surprised, and not expecting this.
Friendly, helpful staff.
