Hi-Point Restaurant & Lounge

First time to this place and I was quite happy. Food was very tasty and priced reasonably, it came very fast. Service was great.

Good food. Prices are on the high side, but match the rest of the others in the area. Nice to have good food year round in the area. Pizza is some of the best ever.

Just most amazing experience here. It couldnt have been better. The atmosphere is amazing the server was super kind and helpful and the food super delicious and served in style. Just can't complain it was amazing!

Recent first time visit. I tell you it definitely won't be the last.
For sure you have to try the crab stuffed mushroom caps.
Something about the burger.a little unassuming looking at first.but WOW!
Couldn't quite narrow it down.thought maybe something about how the bun was toasted.delicious non the less

I have been a customer at hi point for many years. The food is great, the servers are all very friendly and the kitchen is very efficient as my food often comes out very speedy. My family & friends all enjoy ourselves when we are there.

It’s a great place to dine in, take-out, and even to work there

Stopped here for a much needed burger after a day of canoeing on Caddy Lake. We honestly picked it for it’s rustic log cabin look but once inside it did not disappoint. Awesome attentive (but not overly attentive) service and a warm atmosphere. Burger tasted homemade and was paired with a great bun. Price was very middle of the road, felt like a deal considering the quality of the food. Will definitely be returning when back in this neck of the woods.

This place is my sweetheart and I stop whenever we do a whiteshell trip.

Six of us went on Saturday evening with no reservations. Even though it was a busy day, they were able to accommodate us. Food did take a long time to come, but it was all good.

Prices were high.

Food was decent but a lot left to be desired.

Atmosphere nice.

The mushroom tops were great.

The cheese dip was horrid.

The alcoholic beverage was ridiculously high priced.

I’d go broke and hungry if I were to eat here often.

Fantastic patio, super fast and friendly service, and excellent drinks! Had the mojitos, caprese chicken sandwich, panko onion rings and spicy local burger. I would return here anytime I’m in the Whiteshell/Eastern MB area.

The place looks beautiful. Ambiance is amazing. People are friendly. And the food, especially the chicken burgers and pulled pork poutine slaps hard. Love it

Stopped in there after biking and had an amazing tasting pizza paired with a local beverage.

Sydney served us today and she was awesome - friendly and sincere. One of our party has a seafood and nut allergy so the head cook came out to question us when we ordered the crab seafood mushroom caps:). All good - nobody was injured

Very generous and accommodating. Had an amazing meal with the family. Good plant-based options as well. Enjoyed the family day curry!

The Hi-Point is the only restaurant open year round in West Hawk Lake. While the competition up the street might be more famous, the Hi-Point has a great outdoor patio for summer happy hour.

If you are staying in one of the many resorts in the area in the winter (I recommend Tallpine Lodges for a romantic couples only retreat) I suggest you order the homemade pizza for takeout. My favorite is The Local.

If you want a fast breakfast, I think the best breakfast options in West Hawk can be found here.

For lunch, tear into the Rueben sandwich with a side salad. For my money they have the second beat rueben sandwich in Manitoba. The sourkraut has flavour whereas most ruebens in Manitoba use the more local Ukranian sourkraut which is more bland than it's German counterpart.

Be sure to check the sign out front as the specials change all the time.

They also have had a celiac chef at one point and can certainly accomodate your gluten free needs if asked.
