Holy Spice East Indian Cuisine, Winnipeg

I ordered Mix Grill platter last night. The quality was bot good. Meat was overcooked and chewy and it wasn’t the same as previous time. I won’t ever order this or recommend it

The manager, the owner provided us the best attention. Thank you, thank you for that great service and the best Indian cousin. The price is not even high. Just perfect to come back. I highly recommend visiting with the family.

Just finished my first meal at the restaurant. Very friendly serving staff got me a seat right away. Once I ordered, the food came very quickly. Started with veg pakora which were tasty with a nice tamarind sauce. My chicken vindaloo came out shortly after I completed my appy. It was tasty with good proportions of meat, potatoes and sauce. I ordered extra hot but it was just over mild for my tastes but again it did not distract from the food tasting great.

I will definitely be coming back again!

Today I went to Holy Spice around 9: 30pm, the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. The waitress served me really well and I would love to come back to this place.

Unprofessional service for dine in. Goat curry was not fresh… even though they don’t want to listen… never seen such a bad behaviour with customers and service in my life

I've had food here around thrice now, twice the experience was amazing, last time I visited I ordered Chicken tikka masala, and it was not up to the mark. The gravy was made with whole coriander seeds, and I could taste whole coriander in EVERY single bite which was quite annoying.
Otherwise food is great!

Good interior, good staff, good food taste. Sitting is little congested. We had Amritsari kulcha it was best that i had yet in Winnipeg. Service was good, but not too much options in food.

Server Nitika is the sweetest server amongst all indian restaurants in winnipeg, food was also really good.

Holy Spice catered for a special event and everyone at the party loved the food. The owner Manny was quite helpful and made sure everything was fresh and delicious. I always come here for my Indian food because I feel it is quite authentic. I will definitely be coming again

Had the Gravy Manchurian and the Mutter Paneer. Both were top shelf. Highly recommend. You can taste the love in the food.

Love this place. Highly recommend their Cream Chicken Holy Spice and Paneer Lababdar. Price is a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

We always had inhibitions from eating out Indian cuisine in Winnipeg, as we always experienced and thought that we make better food at home. But, it was only until we ate food from Holy Spice East Indian Cuisine last week. We ordered their butter chicken masala, garlic Naan and Jalebi. Believe me it was so delicious that we forgot our nostalgia about Delhi food. We have already ordered twice after that and have not regretted. I wish them good luck in their future endeavors!

The service was not good kept us waiting even after ordering before hand. The store front staff was very rude.

This inconspicuous restaurant, tucked into a strip mall off Kenaston, serves solid and filling Punjabi fare. I really enjoyed the tandoori roti (made with whole wheat), the jeera aloo, and the paneer lababdar, which was a delicious revelation. The rice that came with the dishes arrived partially in clumps, for which I deducted a star. Otherwise this place is a great addition to Winnipeg's diversifying food scene.

I visited the store and ordered chicken masala, palak paneer and three nan. The food that they said would take about 5 minutes to receive the order was not served until 30 minutes after. And I had to checked my order with the employee again for that. It was after seeing that the two orders that came later than me were processed. My food didn’t come out even though I was waiting well at the counter after ordering. I don't think I made a special order. Does Indian food usually take this long? Or is it because I lack patience? I don't know because it's my first time going to Indian restaurant in winnipeg. Fortunately the foods was great. But the employee who didn't process my order and disappeared for her break was heartless. It was my first time to waste a tip.

I would definitely rate this restaurant in negative if there is any option available for the following reasons:
1. Misguiding customers: went to restaurant and ordered regular size of 2 portions of (dal makhni and kadhai paneer). I specifically told them i need the food for 4 adults and 3 children and they suggested quantity will be less in regular as it serves only 2 adult and where as large serves 3 adults. Since every restaurant serves in different quantity, i believed them. Total bill was 117$. When we had food, only we were able to finish one portion of each and rest got wasted. The bill could have been half but they wanted mint money instead of helping customers
2. Arrogant and Rude behaviour towards customer: when my wife raised the Complaint, the owner was very rude and said go and do what ever you want to do. Want to write negative review go-a-head. My wife would have let it go if he would have been polite. He dont know how to speak with female and was arrogant as if Holy spice is the only restaurant in Winnipeg. Hearing this my wife got upset and raised her voice too. But he then disconnected the call. I will as well spread word of mouth to ensure others are aware about his arrogance.

I walked in and was ignored by the staff who took phone calls and put away stock. When they served people that came in after me I walked out.

Every single time I come here it feels so good because they have a very good menu and give food on time

Best chilli chicken in winnipeg personally tried every east Indian restaurant but no one can beat Holy Spice!

Do not order larger amounts from this restaurant as they act extremely rude when asked for clarification and won’t make any provisions for customers if misunderstood on an order. I only called to ask for quantity of chutney for their 12 samosa deal (which they said was only 2 without clarifying size) but they made it seem like we were a nuisance not willing to explain at all.

They provide food with good quality and quantity for reasonable prices. Really awesome. I can say number 1 for everything like taste, quality, price and customer service.

Their food is so yummy. This is the 4th time I ate here. So far, they have impressed me and my wife with their supreme quality in food. Amritsari Kulcha and their Paneer Tikka Sizzler is the best in Winnipeg. When you eat, you feel that they used spices properly and made food with love

Butter paneer, butter chicken, mixed vegetable, tandoori roti and butter Naans were all very tasty.

Loved our Birthday Dinner tonight at Holy Spice 9 of us and the food, service and atmosphere were perfect! They played Happy Birthday for us and even had candles for our cake! Thank you.

Poor customer service.
I Ordered mango lassi.it was really bad and very sour with bitter taste.
Also, we were 10 people but there were not enough glasses on the table.
I really don’t recommend to anyone.

We ordered the live experience for a large party at home. It was phenomenal! The chefs were very accommodating and had the intricacies timed to perfection. It was an unforgettable experience, and our guests still rave about the in-house fresh garlic naan and jalebis! Would recommend wholeheartedly, and can't wait to have them return.

We been getting samosas and naan bread from here for a couple of years, always tasty. Over the weekend we ordered the meal for 4 and some Vindaloo chicken for takeout. It did not disappoint. Just be prepared you will have some left overs. The spice and taste were on point. I would recommend you choose mild or medium spice, you will get a nice mouth numbing feeling ha ha! If unsure start off with the mild spice.
The curry goat was exceptional. Hoping to try other dishes in the future.

I am visiting Holy Spice very often and order. I usually order Tandoori chicken which is their best of all. I am not giving them 5 stars because the Chaat Papdi’s quantity is not that great versus other restaurants in the city.

Wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. Excellent butter chicken - don't fear the medium spice.it's quite nice!

I really like the food. Its like best Indian food in Winnipeg. Specially cholle bhature tastes like heaven. Also the non veg items tastes so good. However I would be very happy if the service becomes more faster.
