Don't shop often at Rona any more these days. Notice that the store no longer has check outs it's only self check out now. Went looking for 4 by 4 pice of would took quite a bit of time to find a team member to ask was told Rona no longer sells 4 by 4 wood left and went to the depot they had what I wanted and In stock. I can see this location closing soon

When you need help and try to find something, the staff just turned there back on you! No wonder Rona's staff are just fewer.

I requested to rent a tool and the person who answered the phone had terrible English so I was transferred to the manager and he was clearly dealing with problems because I tried my best to be nice but if the manager is sensitive.the manager should find a different job. Your people skills suck.

I needed a specific shower head, one with a magnetic clamp. They had it in stock and it was easy to find. I like how dependable Rona stores are for inventory.

Huge selection of home improvement options and garden supplies year round.
Only needed some diatomaceous earth (ant killer, works on moths and other bugs too though!) but someone was kind enough to tell me where to look as things do get moved!

I called to check the availability of an item. Staff either ignored or hung up the phone. It was passed through the hands of four people to get the question answered. I am curious as to why this is the behaviour.

10 Stars to John for helping me out in the hardware section! His knowledge and advice turned my day around! There was also another gentleman who helped me out prior to John’s arrival. It was a great customer service experience.

Horrible experience. Waited forever for help with patio sets. Didn’t even help us. Wrong pricing was listed as well. They just said oh well sorry.

I bought a EGO snow blower and as part of a promotion there was a free leaf blower included. I called about 4 hours ahead of time to make sure they had both in stock. They had 1 of each left and told me to ask for Joyce when I got there. When I got there they had both in a back room, on a cart and ready to go.
More than I expected, great service.

We received a damaged cabinet that created a potential an installation schedule issue but no need to worry, their delivery personnel (Michelle) had arranged a replacement that was then delivered (by two great chaps) before I even began to reschedule! So impressed with consideration and customer care! Even when I went to the location to view the cabinets I had great service. Lastly, the initial delivery chap is top level as well! Rona is my NEW go to.

Surprisingly incapable of selling you replacement for the consumables parts of things they sell you. Assume that if one component on anything they sell you fails you'll be replacing the entire thing.

Bought a new ceiling fan for the master bedroom. We got excellent advice from the gentleman (sorry I didn't get his name) who worked there. (Nov. 26,2021) He asked us a number of relevant questions and then recommended a model. He discussed the different options with us, including colours and installation. We couldn't have asked for better service.

Rona is a great place for all construction needs. I enjoy using the curb side pick up. However they need to fix their phone system as it does not respond to me cell when asked to push a required number for type of service required. Thus only 3 points.

Went there to get advice on how to install faux siding, since it's our very first time installing. Ryan helped us out with all the info and questions we had, took over 30 minutes. He even called the other store to make sure they had enough starter strip available for us to purchase since they were sold out. Glad to have met him there.

Used the curbside pickup. Not the easiest to navigate but did get through. Then had to wait longer than expected. The guys that brought it to the car and loaded it were great

I don't know how this place stays in business. The shelves are bare and the selection pales in comparison to Home Depot. Lowes should close the urban stores and keep the smaller rural franchises much like Home. Hardware.

Waste of time, all across city and went in lumber yard to find out no product, then no cashier, will not use self checkouts!

This store has an excellent greenhouse, lots of variety and the plants are healthy and beautiful. The staff are helpful and were very generous in directing me to another smaller business in the city, when they didn't carry what I wanted. That kindness was superb!

Could hardly find anybody to help out and when I did they didn't know where anything was not sure how professional the staff really is

Friendly Staff and still good stock. Have nothing for Stab Lok circuit breakers. Always on back order. Best to phone ahead to make sure they have stock even though they show stock on line. They did take the time to check other locations. No dice.

Great store. Everything you need. People to help you everywhere. Better than home depot. Big time.

It was the worst experience I've had yet at Rona we went to return a item one person working in the returns everyone else standing around pretending to ignore 20 people in line.terrible service

It was Friday June 8 2021 when I went to Rona to purchase a battery powered grass trimmer. Once I arrived at the store I was greeted by 2 employees, one of Asian descent with red hair I think, and the other one I cannot remember. The employee was very polite and gave me valuable information on which trimmer that best suits my needs. I will definitely be back soon!

I bought a Karcher pressure washer that was broken out of the box, I tried to return it within 24 hours and was told that Karcher didn't allow them to take returns. I had to contact Karcher and wait several weeks for a replacement wand to arrive. Absolutely ridiculous and I now avoid Rona completely.

Lots of product and perennials to choose from in the garden center! The aisles need 'breaks' inserted so you don't have to back up the whole way

Like this store even though it is no longer Canadian. Good selection of tools and friendly staff.

Lumber cashier was great but 2 guys in lumber yard were inattentive and stood chatting to each other offering zero customer service.

Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. They also have enough staff to keep things running smoothly even on busy weekends. They offer delivery and curbside pickup as well as in store shopping. They carry pretty much everything for home and garden and even do renovations. The store is clean, well organized and easy to navigate. Prices are average for a home improvement store. My preferred location in Winnipeg as the staff are always amazing and very well trained, I have been coming here since I was little, it never disappoints!

Gave me the phone number for foremost ti get a part replaced and the worker said there us a number marked under the toilet lid.came.home and there is no number

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable employees. The store stock was exactly what was indicated on the website items available. Very well organized and inventory layout. This is wherebi will go from now on.

I went there early Friday morning for pots, which were too expensive and bags of stones which they had before then they have no bags and the guy working there treated me like I stole something when I left emptyhanded. I drove my suv and picked everything including 4 bags of gravel that I needed at Home Depot where the staff treated me so well.

If im looking for a certain bolt or screw to replace a faulty one. They seem to always have a replacement, plus someone working that knows the department, making finding items pretty easy!

The employees are knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. I bought kitchen cabinets and some bathroom stuff on great prices. The employees who are working in the different departments To employees who are working on customer service, Everyone is awesome and very helpful. I love shopping at Rona.

Ryan from the flooring area was amazing! Super helpful and very friendly! This was one of my best home reno shopping experiences!

If you can't get to a Lowe's or home Depot or any other hardware store this is a great last resort. I go for sales and always leave frustrated.

Wish I remembered the girls name that helped me at customer service (picking up my online order), cause I haven't recieved customer service like that in a long time.

This location has has the WORST management for several years. I WILL AVOID it at all costs!
Any of the friendly, competent staff members I was familiar with are long gone.
The management must be changed.

This garden centre, like most, has very little gardening choices left. Everyone has decided to garden during the Pandemic and finding good plants or a choice of garden tools is virtually impossible!

But, the store is otherwise very well staffed with home and hardware inventory, their staff are courteous and helpful and the parking lot is large and easily accessible.

They did not have a good selection of key blanks for cutting. Pretty much only blanks for the style of locks they sell.
