Hudson's Bay

I wouldn’t work at the bay they are extremely abusive to their staff, they constantly make their staff cry. And don’t feel bad about it. They also yell at their staff in front of customers. The customers complain about management and management still refuses to change their ways. They just remain abusive I give this place zero stars. I don’t see the bay lasting much longer.

Okay I have a love hate relationship with this place.
Love the Glackenstock bedding.
Hate the way they treated and treat Natives.

Love that Bay. But please keep the homeless people out of the entrance to the store. It is very unnerving!

Service was good but there was a lady scamming my wife to ask her ID and apply for Hudson's Credit card without telling her. Then my wife asked the manager for help, but the manager said all misunderstanding, didn't apologize at all. Please do not scam other people again, thank you!

I will be shopping more often at this store because I absolutely love their fashion design and affordability. Such a beautiful store to buy something nice for someone you love! Does Hudson Bay sell grey GAP sweaters? If so, I’m going to buy one!

The bay day sales are amazing. Got this amazing citrine bracelet reg $500 for $125. They also have great additional % off sale items and you have a month to return. I also buy most of my footwear from their online store as they always have size 11

Always a Bay fan, and this was our first opportunity to check out the new Zellers assortment and while limited as far as space was concerned, the assortment was relatively inexpensive and fun.

We had a great te shopping for a cologne and perfume. The lady at the counter who helped us was very personable and knew what samples to show us from our descriptions or what we liked and didn't like as we went along!

I'll be honest, Hudson Bay is always hard-to-find anything good. Staff weren't helping anyone and ignored us, wouldn't recommend you go here.

Lots of parking space.
This store feels like it'sgoing out of business.
Prices seem high except clearance items.
It feels and looks very different from years ago, a lot less polished and refined.
It feels like it will disappear like sears.

Didn’t update their phone system to advise MAC closed down. It just keeps ringing. Drove over an hour to get there to find the booth completely missing. Drove over an hour back home.

Where's all the dress shirts and dress pants? I went here and it looked all like low end garbage clothes that were marked up. I always came to this store for designer names and high quality clothes and it's looking like a Walmart now.i hope you can turn this around so you don't end up like sears.

The product was quite sparse, with many empty or nearly empty sections.
They seemed to have their staff do rounds of the store, hollaring from the tile path at a department to ask if a customer needed a hand, instead of approaching each customer and speaking at a regular volume.

The Mac cosmetics counter located inside The Hudson's Bay is by far the best mac counter in the city. Matt and Amanda are so friendly, professional, knowledgable and helpful when it comes to finding the perfect product for you! They have good deals that are Hudson's Bay exclusive and you can still recieve Bay Points while shopping here. Mac has a recycling program that is still honored at this location despite it being in The Bay. I'd definitely recommend shopping at this Mac location for a more personal shopping experience.

In general, it is expensive, but when you go during the discount times, you are likely to find it at a more affordable price. It is very pleasant and comfortable to walk around. It is a quiet store.

Went to buy pants.prices reasonable! Bay Day maybe.the only and old Icon Name Store left. They are a little dear sometimes in their prices. Service and exchange are still as always. Guaranteed. Let's leave AMAZON alone for a while and support local and family employees working. Walmart is not what's it's made up to be.read between the lines and see who really cares about PEOPLE! Always like shopping at the different Hudson Bay stores in Winnipeg. Because of the different designer lable clothes at The Bay, your shopping experience can be an real unforgettable experience. The prices vary and it is up to uou what you want to pay! Love The Bay!

Regardless of me having had talked to the bay customer service and emailing back and forth with the manager I still had a difficult time returning an item that is why I'm finished shopping here and you should be too outdated no good items for the same price they've gone for back when they were popular the staff literally had to take my phone? Just to see I wasn't lying and then to read like wth

Fairly large store, but we were not able to find what we were looking for. But still looked like a good store.

Went to buy a pillow - imagine - and I hadn't been to the Bay in ages, mainly because of the pandemic. The woman who helped me was so nice and accommodating that I will be back soon.to buy another pillow.
I like the Bay because the goods are high quality and the cost reasonable.

Definitely not the store it used to be. Went upstairs to look at their kids section and it was so sparse and a little unorganized.

The Bay it was an experience, very clean and the staff there were very helpful. It was a enjoyable experience.

They are the last store that resembled Sears, a very good selection of items, from clothing to household goods.

My favorite store for clothing in the city. Lots to offer with appliances, kitchen stuff, shoes and more.

I went in to find a bra. I needed sizing which says they offer. The lady handed me the tape measure to do it myself. Then no one helped me find anything. I gave up and left.

Not like the Bay of old. They have gotten too expensive over the years. You can get the same stuff and quality for a fraction of the price elsewhere. Also it seems they are pushing their associates too hard to get us to apply for their HBC credit cards.

I bought a pair of Haggar pants that were on sale. There were many other men's clothes that seemed to be on sale, but the fine print excluded anything that had a regular price ending in. 99, which unfortunately was most of the clothes under the sign. Very misleading and very frustrating.

Not enough people working on floor. Very hard to get help. People are shopping for holidays. Time to give them fulltime jobs so more people will come in store.

They usually have good sale for brand name. Recently, hey changed to have only one service desk which becomes nightmare as the wait line is really long.

Is OK (just over 2 stars). The Bay is really the only department store brand left in Winnipeg. This is unfortunate I guess, since they use use to be a giant (along with Sears and Eaton's). The atmosphere in the store is similar to when Sears was on the way out. Difficult to find help and you are lucky if more than 1 service counter in the whole store has an attended. It's not very tidy in the store since they can't afford to pay for enough staff. In store selection is OK but varies greatly by department! If you look for sales there are good deals, but otherwise the pricing isn't competitive. It seems the department store model has to much overhead for the building/store space in the digital age. If you purchase online it's easy to do an in store return so you don't have to pay for return shipping. Staff is friendly.

Shopping business clothes is tough. There seems to be little rhyme or reason to the way things are set up. Several items have tag missing. There are some deals to be had if you are patient and the staff is friendly.

I purchased a watch there & went to get battery changed. It cost me $18.00 + tax. Almost fell down. Does it really cost that much to change a plain watch battery.

Over priced, get with the times Bay. Define/change what you are before you end up like every other department store.

Much better than the The Bay downtown. They always seem to have something on sale and is usually not very crowded. The employees are very nice and friendly as well
