Nice big room with comfortable beds. Construction made it a little difficult to get to but over all a nice place!

The room was clean, the housekeeping was double checking our room when we opened the door. It was great because shows that they care. We stayed in the room with a jacuzzi, pretty clean, the bed was good and it has a smart tv. Palina or Pelina and Mandeep were the front desks that helped us upon check in, they were pretty helpful, we came from another hotel, we were in a rush and they were pretty amazing! Our problems were the toilet that never flushes property and the breakfast. The breakfast was sad, nothing like you see online. It had bread, coffee, egg Patties and idk if it was ham or what was that and apple. I think the breakfast was the most disappointing thing over there. For the price of the room I was expecting something better. Besides that everything was good. The hotel is not super new but pretty organized and clean.

It was not the first time I stayed there. I was with my parents we had a really great time over there. Every morning we went for complimentary breakfast which was awesome. There was an Indian girl working there she was so nice and polite to help us out every time we ask for anything. Even she was nice enough to make some egg patties for us even though the menu was different. Just want to say keep the good work up.will definitely visit again.

Wonderful hotel! This is not the first time I have stayed here. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast! Located in a very convenient location! There are shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby! Thanks for the great service!

This is unbelievable and unacceptable what I'm going to tell you now. I had a fellow that had everything stolen from him in Edmonton Alberta about a week ago. He was packed and ready to come to Manitoba to work for me and he stopped by a service station with so called friends to grab a couple of hotdogs and his so called friends stole his truck with his wallet and phone and all his tools in it. The police didn't do anything for him and he didn't have theif insurance.
He managed to get a used phone and called me because he remembered my number.
I called Humphry Inn hotel and booked him a room because he would be arriving late. I booked and paid for the room and filled out picture ID form with my visa and explained the situation to the front desk that he had no picture ID. Well he arrived this morning around 1: 30 am and went to the Humphry Inn and they wouldn't let him in and called the police on him. I spoke to the officer and he told me they felt semantic with what happened and took him to a shelter and his belongings were put in a safe place at the police station. My rant here is they totally knew the fellow coming had been robbed of everything and I vouched for him 100% and they just treated him like a bum. I would like everyone who reads this to post it and tell everyone never to stay at the Humphry Inn on main St Winnipeg, Manitoba.

After getting off the train from Churchill this hotel was amazing! So close to the train station and the Forks. We stayed here for the night so we were rested for the next day! This place is in a great location!

Summary: they try their best, but it is what it is.

The great things about this hotel is the location, the cleanliness, the friendliness in the service and the fact that it is one of the few ones in the region with breakfast included (plus 24h coffee).

The bad things about this hotel is that they lacked electricity for when I went for WAY too long. I know technical issues happen, but it took them too long to fix it. Plus, they only removed the cost of the stay of the nights without electricity for those that asked for it, instead of being apologetic and removing it for all.

Comfortable long-term stay for business. Need for more power outlets or multi plug.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, and pillows with some variation of firmness for differing preferences. Great shower and tub. Breakfast buffet included, friendly staff. The in room coffee is actually good compared to every other hotel I've stayed in (except the Radisson, which so far has the best in-room coffee).

Reasons for losing a star:
1) I asked at the front desk for service in a week and not before, as I prefer not to waste resources, and I appreciate my privacy. The next day I I forgot to put the Do Not Disturb sign on my door, and housekeeping came and "refreshed" things. There was no point in even asking at the front desk. (I know this is not unique to this hotel. It seems to be standard practice to ignore this type of request.) However, when a person is staying for 18 days, you would think they might note your room number as off limits when requested.

2) Pool is still not up and running, so maybe it won't ever be. This is not clear when searching info online.

Walking distance to numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions.

The room was clean, a little out dated. Housekeeping was great when we left a note for extra towels. Parking lot is very small and tight for the amount of people staying there. Also costs 12$ a day to park your vehicle and it snowed 2/3 nights we stayed there and noone bothered to plow the parking lot. Not sure what the 12$ goes to. Breakfast was great every morning, and in the evening when we asked to have the fountain drink dispenser turned on to refill our water bottles they did with no problem.

Very good hotel, close to the train station (10 minutes on foot) and not too far from the airport (around 30$ with a cab or 30 minutes bus)

Très bien situé pour visiter les principaux attraits du centre ville à pied. Déjeuner très en dessous de la norme pour ce type d’hôtel. Chambre très peu insonorisée, petit conseil, demander une chambre à l’arrière car beaucoup moins bruyante. Chambre propre et bon service.

Terrible experience, arrived around 3 in the morning, was planning getting some sleep and drive another whole day, someone opened my door in the morning, freaked me and my wife, turns out they are open the door for someone who said this is his room without do any confirmation with their system, phoned front desk asking their manager, of course never showed up, now I'm super exhausted, hope I can drive safe for next 8 hours. Not recommend at all.

We arrived very late without reservation. They accepted us at reasonable cost for one night under 150$, there is always a guardian in the parking, room clean and comfortable beds. Light breakfast with few choices that could be the fifth star to get, otherwise excellent hotel / cet hôtel nous a accepté à bon prix sous 150$ sans réservation, chambre propre, gardien en tout temps dans le stationnement, améliorer le déjeuner serait la cinquième étoile de mon vote. C’était très léger même pour un déjeuner inclus.

Charge for parking and don't tell you until you're committed. Pool, hot tub etc is out of service and they don't tell you until you're committed.

Pretty nice hotel with nice rooms and amenities, you can control the ac unit on the window which is really nice for keeping your room your favourite temperature.the only downside was that the pool, hot tub and sauna are closed even though theyre still advertised on the website.other than that a great hotel thats surprisingly quiet considering its right on the highway.

Staff was polite. N they had no problem wit me bringing in my bike the area is not somewhwre i would lock up any of my bikes so them not having a problem was awesome!

Overall the hotel was decent.the staff was friendly and made accommodations for a extended stay by a few hours which was nice.although, my expectations for the hotel were not met, and i was quite dissatisfied with my visit.the decor and aesthetic is quite dated and old school, and the rooms are not very great either.the tv quality wasn’t great, there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker which is nice, but the coffee was mediocre and the atmosphere was very cold.no extra blankets or anything in the room, king size bed was decently comfortable.only one cieling light with lots of lamps.the air conditioning worked well but was dusty and loud.the bathroom was decent, included shampoo, conditioner, lotion but no body wash.there were a decent amount of towels for 2 people.the shower was not the best; water splashed over the edge, soaking the floor.cracks in the wall tiles and the shower head was broken and dirty.the view isn’t great in the room i stayed at, facing constructions and a busy downtown road.good distance from the museum and other places like that.i think that the free breakfast was decent, very limited options and the apple juice tasted like water.no pool or hot tub due to covid (i think they should change that restriction as it’s a bit dated now) and overall not what i was hoping for.plus, $10 parking is ridiculous, especially for it not to be spacious or gated off.i bought a small pack of toothpaste from the small shop in the lobby, and it was wayyyy too overpriced. $5.60 for a small tube is not acceptable in my eyes.i’d rather just not brush my teeth.overall, i do not recommend.you could fine wayy better hotels in the city for the same price or cheaper

It was clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. It was just unfortunate that the pool and hot tub weren't working, but it didn't ruin the stay. The only thing I'd have liked was eggs or fruit available with breakfast.

Decent hotel, very disappointed for the $10 parking fee especially if the parking isn’t closed off and anyone could break in and enter. Room decor is a bit old. $170 for a king sized bed room came with a tv but the tv quality isn’t that good, neither is sound quality. Tv doesn’t have options, just cable. Bathroom was ok included lotion, conditioner and shampoo but no body wash. Some places are dirty. Wall also peeling. Crack in shower wall and shower head base is loose. Pool and hot tub closed which is also disappointing and from other post it has been closed for a long time. Breakfast doesn’t have much options and tables weren’t cleaned between guest. Definitely have more stuff to improve on. Shop is disappointing too almost $6 for a very small tube of toothpaste very disappointing and over priced. They said they would provide free toothpaste and tooth brush if we forgot but said they were “out” but had enough in the shop to sell. Also charged a $150 damage insurance upon entry but said would refund after we leave. That was very unnecessary. Definitely won’t be comming back for about $180 for 1 night stay and 1 night parking.definitely could’ve gotta a better places. I also got the $170 hotel price when it was 42% off. Definitely won’t be coming back

Stayed here for 2 days from Aug 19 to Aug 21, paid a $150 deposit, didn't get it back until now. Very disappointed since the deposit for other hotels get reverted in less than 2 days.

One night stay for a wedding at the Forks. Reasonably priced, clean and had friendly staff. Unfortunately have to minus 1 star because our toilet was plugged when we got there and we weren't really able to use it due to it's poor water flow and constant flooding.

This has to be one of the worst hotels I've stayed in recently, I don't know if it's just declined since covid. For starters it's in a horrible location, which limits the parking to the point where I had to sit and wait a good 15 minutes to find a spot. Upon checking in I'm informed the hot tub and pool are out of service which is a big reason I chose this hotel. They have a "fitness" center" which is 4 pieces of ancient cardio equipment, half of which doesn't work. The room was decent enough, and the breakfast that was included wasn't terrible either but still not great. Can't say I'd ever want to stay here again.

Great customer service, decently clean rooms, good quality toiletries; included breakfast is similar to what someone will have at home, not a huge variety but good, 24hr coffee is handy; very good location. Had a very good stay.

The rooms were clean. The staff were very helpful and you cannot beat the location. The pool was not open which would have been nice to know before booking.

Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Parking costs extra and is very tight so bring a small car. The pool and hot tub are "closed due to COVID" whatever that means, there are no restrictions that I'm aware of. Breakfast is very disappointing and the tables aren't cleaned between guests. There is syrup on tables and chairs. Price is reasonable for a downtown hotel.

Pleasantly surprised. Location was good when looking for places to eat. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. Comfy bed, good products and good water pressure.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Unless you want to be plunging your toilet everytime you use it, dont stay here. If I could give no stars I would. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in this hotel. To deal with the plumbing issue the man at the front desk came into our room without our permission, while the "do not disturb" sign was up while we weren't there. He didn't even call to ask if it was alright or give time to put away any unmentionables. I've stayed at many hotels and I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional service. No help with bags, blood on the sheets, dust-caked fans, and to top it off NO ONE ENFORCES COVID PROTOCALS. The amount of times we went in the lobby just to have to avoid all the people without masks was ridiculous. On top of that, they didn't check anyone's vaccine info for the breakfast and they let people walk around the food with NO MASK ON. When we talked to the manager she was argumentative and when she finally compensated us she gave us LESS THAN 10% off for making what was supposed to be a special 5 year anniversary into a s**t show.

The staff were very nice and very helpful. When I needed something they were happy to help! Their complementary breakfast was delicious. And if they have any guests who are rude to them, I would be shocked because I had a great time!

Before my wedding, I was looking for a hotel that has a honey moon suite. The only hotel in Winnipeg that has it is this hotel at a very reasonable price and it comes with a romance package (a rose, a box of chocolat "Forrerro collection", a bottle of champagne and a $50 gift card to "Earls"=a restaurant across the street). The suite has a hot tub in the room. The service was amazing, we had a great wedding night plus the all you can eat breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Treated my significant other to a night in the Jacuzzi Suite $200 is a lot to me so I was devastated when upon check-in they required an additional $500 damage deposit for the room. Staying here for one night tied up $700 of my income. Left me strapped for cash for a week, the hotel also refuses to direct deposit back the damage deposit back to you. Instead, you have to wait for a physical cheque from them and run the hassle of depositing back into your bank account yourself. Terrible operating system. And the audacity they have to not let you know of this process beforehand. Additionally, the hotel was empty, 3 cars in the parking lot on a long weekend, and I was still charged an additional $10 for parking.

Room was spacious and clean and all the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Staff Amanda and Paul in particular are awsome. Paul served our breakfast in our room exactly on our requested time. He was very kind with my kids. Thanks Paul!

The location is amazing. The hotel is walking distance from some great restaurants, the forks and downtown.

While there are better options, the complimentary breakfast is more than adequate.

The area around the hotel seems really safe to walk from MTS or downtown late at night.

Very disgusted with the hotel, was eaten alive by bed bugs in room 510 i would avoid staying here. Also major lack of parking people parked in front of the hotel doors over night and no one does anything about it.

Pretty nice, new hotel. Lots of modern amenities and a nice pool. The location is pretty good for hitting the forks and downtown.

Nice and clean everything felt fresh in the room, the staff working later in the evening were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us out.

Friendly reception. Jacuzzi room was really nice! Breakfast buffet was okay but it's free so can't complain.

This hotel has great location in Winnipeg, few minutes from the Forks market and it is in the middle of everything. The room prices are reasonable. Rooms are spacious clean, parking was included a plus.
Service was good too.

Good food, friendly people and good house keeping services. Still a bit dated but has all the amenities available and close to the train station and bus routes.

In particular Sadee was very helpful and kind. She always had useful tips. She is such a great greeter at the hotel. The hospitality was amazing thank you for the wonderful experience! She offered me gum and more people came and she gave all her gum away she is so generous. She also was willing to give me a ticket for a music festival that I could not go to. But it was really thoughtful. We were playing music and I thought we were being too loud but then she told us we could put the music louder. I really enjoyed my time talking with her see you next time, when we visit you again!

Sadee was so nice and sweet and the best front desk lady ever, she made conversation with us and she was so caring. She gave us really good advice and she became a really good friend. She explained a little bit of her story and was very friendly. We are so sad that we left her and that we didn’t get to talk to her more. She is the best worker ever.

Was looking forward to a quiet romantic evening with my partner for days! The day finally comes and I go to check in and my say goes south in a hurry. Front desk person was not overly friendly or helpful. Informs me that there is a $10 parking fee which I did not see declared anywhere when I booked. So I paid for the room and was then informed that an additional $500 would be taken from my credit card as a deposit! $500! So I look like Aerosmirh or Justin Beiber? ! No way! Grat hotel. We go thrre wherever were in winnepeg. Clean rooms and a walk away from the arena and ball park.

The staff were very helpful and kind here. Some aspects were a little rough around the edges but generally a good experience. I enjoyed the hot tub and the pool although it is very small.

For what it offers, it is a very decent hotel. No airmiles, no aeroplan. Slept well, its was an overnight only and for that situation hotel was fine. Breakfast is.serve yourself and cook a little too, either serve a full breakfast, self-serve or not, or don't serve any. But the idea of putting an egg in an omelette maker, at the hotel, just turns me off, completely.

Great hotel. Nice rooms, soft big pillows. Has a pool + hot tub and free (just okay) breakfast. Could be slightly better with some sort of weights in the fitness center (I'm not looking for a squat rack, just a bench and a set of dumbbells) and softer beds. Neat antique feeling building.

The Humphry Inn & Suites is a nice place to stay. The staff is friendly and are quick when checking in. The rooms are good and have what I need for the night. The pool area is nice and clean. The morning breakfast is basic. The hotel is close to most things in the downtown area. It is a reasonably short walks to The Forks.

Rooms were nice enough but the beds weren't very comfy and the breakfast buffet was lacking. French toast was dry and hard, waffle maker didn't work well everything was sticking and bananas were overripe.

Great location and value for what's included: basic breakfast buffet and a pool, hot tub and steam room. Parking is no longer free but a reasonable $10/day. The WiFi could be better in rooms near the elevator as the signal was lost once in the room. Walking distance to the Museum of Human Rights and the Forks makes exploring on foot accessible and easy.
