Been getting my chinese food here since I was a little kid. Never do I go anywhere else for Chinese. However lately the portions have gotten small. We use to be able to feed a family of 8 for about 100$ and have plenty leftovers. Now we feed 3 adults and 2 children for over 100$ and we are running out. The quality of the food has changed as well. The butter chicken has gotten dry, the Shanghai noodles are spicy, the veal small, the honey garlic ribs dry, Cantonese chow mein doesn't have many noodles anymore.it's just not the same as it was, and unfortunately I think its time I find a new place: (

In terms of taste, the Shanghai Chow Mein we ordered was very disappointing, the noodles were mushy and the sauce was not tasty. The other bird's nest platter was OK, but passable. As a supply point during the journey, the requirements cannot be too high. The service is very friendly, but I don’t recommend it.

Food is good and the lunch special is generous, tasty and very affordable.staff is friendly

Just wasn't as good as we remembered 8 people and nowhere to put everything need more room

Has to take the cake for worst Chinese food on this end of the city. KP mall has better food with more flavor. I've never had such sad looking, unseasoned food before. Wouldn't recommend to anyone anywhere. The reviews of this place must be made by the owners because there's no WAY anyone would rank this a 4 or 5.

What a rip off I paid over $14 for their deluxe chow mein and got 4 pieces of meat I recommend to anyone living in Elmwood or East Kildonan to visit SUN CHIU KEE on Monroe you will be quite pleased with their portions

Great dining experience! I came from out of town and was recommended Hung's Garden. The food was excellent and good quality. Very friendly staff family owned and operated I will be back next time!

Came here yesterday with some friends and the service was so friendly and attentive! We ordered the ginger beef, Singapore noodles and butter chicken.

Truly disheartened with some of these reviews. We ordered 3 dishes, drinks and spring roll and the cost split was $19, $57 total for 3 people very reasonable.

We will definitely be back!

I was bit disappointed with their servings for the price I paid. I always do take out at Chinese restaurant but this was the first time, I had a small serving that is not even good for two persons and for the taste, just the usual nothing fancy.

Incredible Chinese food. Everything tastes super fresh and was piping hot even after driving home with it. Ginger beef is among the best I've ever had. Highly recommend checking them out!

Went for 9.99 lunch special. 3 choices available. Fresh as usual and fast. Nice to have open for dine in.

Not the place that it once was. Soup was barely warm and food was the same even after we complained, and had it re-heated. Telling us they couldn't serve HOT food because of regulations. Charginging over $60 for three dishes. Thanks, but no thanks!

Out of the 10 or so Chinese food restaurants I’ve had in Winnipeg this is consistently the best!

Hands down the BEST Chinese food in the area! Staff and service are great. There are a few other Chinese restaurants in my area but none of them compare and we are more than willing to make the drive. Great job guys! Keep it up!

Food is amazing. On the spicy side depending on what you order but very very good. Good size take out portions. Would also like to mention the staff.always friendly!

Spend $42 for a small servings of food and taste is bad. I love chinese food but this so bad.wont coming back.sorry for the bad review you guys need a new cook

Best Chinese food place in the city. My family and I have been eating here since I was a little kid. The owners are so nice!

One of my favs since original place by Louise Bridge. Vegetables are allways fresh, tasty and nice crunch! All soup is A-1 Meat is allways cooked to tender, juicu, tasty perfection! A true Gem that has survived for long time. And I understand why!

I ordered a combination plate and was completely dissatisfied! I have never paid over $13 for a combination plate from anywhere I have ordered from and never got such small portions. The fried rice was the worst and had a sweet taste to it. The service was not good at all, seemed very unfriendly. Needless to say I will not be ordering from here again.

OMG! When I'm back in Winnipeg I always get a big order from here. I've been a fan of Hungs since their original location by the Louise Bridge. Butter chicken. Honey garlic veal. Never had a bad meal from here!

First visit here. Ordered 4 dishes to go for my 3 person family. Spent 50+. Every portion we received was smaller than every dish portion I have ever received ANYWHERE. My wife's shrimp and vegetables had 3 small SHRIMP.not jumbos. 3! Are you kidding me! The good taste of the food does not offset the fact that we did not get filled. We just finished and we are looking for something in the house to eat. None of us is a huge eater. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

This is literally the most amazing restaurant. They are accomodating, we usually order the Mushroom Fried Rice and Golden Tofu. They are willing to remove egg for vegans which is awesome. We love them. If you want amazing Take Away. This is the place. You get what you pay for and more. [Their spicy is actually spicy, for you spice lovers. ] We are Hung's Fans for life.

My favourite restaurant in the city. My family lives very far away but we are willing to make the drive just for the Harvest Snow.

This is a great restaurant in the Kildonan/Transcona part of the city. The service is always fast and friendly and the food delicious. Venue is clean and lots of seating.

I’ve also never had an issue ordering for pickup. There’s a discount if you pay cash and the food has always been fresh, ready and still warm when I get there.

Easy to get to by car and it’s along the main transit route.

I highly recommend Hung’s.

Best Hot & Sour soup! I've tried many at places all over North America and Hung's has the best.
Very good staff, friendly, prompt, and the food is all very good.
I highly recommend this place if you like Chinese.

Don't hate the place. But seriously they need to redo the bathrooms. Dirty bathroom gets you a thumbs down. Sorry

This is the absolute BEST Chinese food in our area. The dishes taste amazing and are prepared with great quality ingredients. The service and staff are friendly and their delivery time is unbelievable. Our family and friends would never order from any where else. Thank you for being a fantastic local restaurant for us to enjoy! Try the hot pepper beef. It is soooo good!

We ordered in food and I found that it was expensive for the amount of food that was in the take out containers.

Very Clean. Buffet food is really tasty. Unlike some Chinese restaurants, their chicken balls have big pieces of chicken in them - they're not majority dough with a tiny amount of chicken.

Excellent food, speedy service. We love the Cantonese chow mein and chicken balls with 2 sauces. This is our go to Chinese food restaurant. Best egg rolls in town!

I've been going to Hungs for many years. The food has always been fantastic and so is the service.

This restaurant provides excellent food. Their butter calamari and Singapore fried noodles are a must try. Service staff are always consistently on point. Will definitely make a return trip.

The food was ok. Have not been back for a year. Don't remember much about it.

But if I have not been back in a year I guess that says it all.

We visit Hungs very frequently, have never been disappointed. Always friendly, speedy service. It's hard to have a favourite dish here, every time we try something new we love it.
