Comparatively speaking, the price was very reasonable. The hosts could not have done more for us; they were accommodating in every sense of the word and left us with such a warm glow in our hearts.

I don't know where to start with this review other than to say that Bill and Angela were the most amazing hosts during our stay. If you want to go to a place where they make you feel at home, this is the place to stay. Their laughter is contagious and they are the sweetest most wonderful people I have met in quite some time.
You're first impression might be that the rooms are dated, however, this is the case with pretty much everything you see in Churchill. With that said, do not let the look of the room fool you. They are clean, comfortable, and let's be honest, you are not going to Churchill to stay in your room. The artwork that adorns the hallways and room doors is nothing short of exceptional, and there are many many beautiful pictures and local artifacts in the main area that will catch your eye.
The hotel is right across the street from a great restaurant, just a short 2-minute walk to the VIA rail station and Parks Canada Visitor Centre, and many other amenities around town.
I WILL be back to Churchill in the future, and will most definitely be choosing the Iceberg Inn for my accommodations.

Simple, but reasonable hotel with everything guests need while exploring wonderful Churchill wildlife! The hosts, Bill and Angela, are absolutely great, providing personal care to each guest!

We stayed at Iceberg Inn during the first week of August, 2023. If we could award Bill & Angela (owners) six stars, we would, without hesitation! You are not only treated as guests, you are invited in as family. It is impossible to feel more comfortable and welcome!
From the moment we met Angela and her assistant, Braham, at the train station, their positivity and excitement was contagious. We were greeted with open, welcoming arms, and instantly, we knew we made the right choice for our hosts in Churchill.
Throughout the week we were treated to fun extras. Angela was taking in her recyclables and observed a mama bear and cub on the shore en route. She immediately called us and Bill back at Iceberg. She picked us up to see a wonderful sight! The added perk about staying at Iceberg Inn is that Angela is a professional photographer. All of our experiences with her were recorded not only on our iphones, but with her camera equipment and 800 lens! She graciously airdropped all of these magnificent photos at the end of the day. Other guests on our daily excursions commented how fortunate we were to have her as a host as they, too, became accustomed to her presence and tripod at our daily drop offs/pickups:)
We recommend with utmost confidence staying with Bill & Angela at Iceberg Inn. When you are traveling all the way to Churchill, you want a top notch experience and a great value. This is exactly what Bill & Angela offer their travelers. If we designed our itinerary all over again, (now after experiencing Churchill first hand) we absolutely would not change a thing!

Kind of an odd mix. Staff are wonderfully friendly and offer helpful suggestions for tourists in this town of Churchill. But the rooms, while clean, are not in the best condition. The bathroom showers have visible lumps of caulk, and the room entry doors lack any kind of sound-deadening seal. The exterior windows do not seal when closed, and the bar fridge in our room made some strange sounds - but worked well. There are no coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms (common area has one of each) but the owners are so eager to be friendly you kind of overlook many of the shortcomings.
There was no arrangement to pick us up on arrival, but because of the rain when we pulled in - there they were, two vehicles to get us all to the inn. So we are pretty good with the Inn, overall.

Very friendly owners and very helpful and talented staff. Brom has painted all walls and doors to local themes. Unbelievably talented person. Wish he would sell his art so we could take it as souvenirs from this beautifully rich region of our Planet.

Second time I have stayed and both times felt quite at home. Bill is a most welcoming host, friendly, helpful and personable. The hotel is quaint, clean and location ideal for walking around. The tours are highly recommended.

I havent stayed at this Inn but were still very welcomed here to play a little bit of the piano and for some nice talks. Seemed also to have some nice looking rooms.
Churchill is also worth visiting, nice surroundings, people and some special animals.

The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. The proprietor Bill is very helpful and accommodating. Braun is a local artist the works for the iceberg inn. He gave us a very insightful tour of the town from a local’s perspective. This motel is the closest to the train station and less than a seven minute walk from 3 restaurants and the town library.
Definitely dress in layers as the weather is unpredictable.

Wonderful stay at Iceberg Inn. The location is ideal for those arriving by train (about half a block), plus the grocery store is right across the street. The rooms are very comfortable (private baths & mini fridge) and the murals are beautiful. There is access to a microwave, toaster and coffee or tea. But the best part are the owners, Bill & Angela make this the perfect base for all your tours and adventures. They enjoy listening to everyone's stories after a day out, and make you feel at home.
