BECAREFUL! BECAREFUL! BECAREFUL!
I went here to have my car safety done. After few hours the service advisor told me about the result and my car strut needs to be replaced and strut has no oil etc.with the total cost of $3k parts and labor! Due to parts shortage they need to order it. So they asked me to pay $200 for the safety inspection done and they will give me call as it will take weeks for the parts to arrive.

So what I did is asked for second opinion, I brought my car to Midas and told them all the issues I’ve been told by Fahim the service guy from Jim G. So they did the safety inspection and they didn’t find any damage on my strut! What they have found is only my inner left tie rod needed to be changed which cost $300 only parts and labour already! So they ordered the parts and booked me an appointment.

So I went back to Jim Gauthier and told Fahim (service advisor) that I had second opinion and my strut has no issues at all. But of course be keeps insisting that there is an issue as thats what their technician found. I told him no and I will not proceed with the repair as there’s no issues about my strut and I will not going to spend $3k for that damage never exist! So after minutes of arguments he asked his manager what to do and they voided the paper but they didn’t give any refund at all for the $200 or even partial. So i was ripped off by $200 and paid to get stressed by them!

While in Midas you don’t need to pay anything for the inspection! They will check and tell you what’s wrong with your car and give you time if you want to proceed with them with the repair or no. So if you want your car to be safety guys. Go to Midas St Anne! They are the best!

After an amazing experience last year, had the complete opposite experience this year with their service department. Poor communication, attempted to overcharge on repairs, were not keen on working with warranty company, and, most concerning, their senior leadership refused to engage to address my concerns after multiple attempts. Crickets! Not minimizing my experience last year but this year’s situation leaves a lot to be desired from a customer service perspective.

I always visit this place for a maintenance schedule and repair and in my years of being served there, I can say that, I am not happy with the services they have. If you visit this place for a repair, make sure to tell those advisors to let their tech do their job correctly because 1 time they took my car at their residence. I dont if it is the advisor or tech. I have gps on my car. They will just tell you nothing wrong with the car. They want you to go back when they are not that busy.thats how they do it. They should have made better on the first visit. One time service tech forgot 1 chicken legs food on my hood. Advisors their are very good in convincing that they are doing enough but in fact your car is in the lot unrepaired due to their busy days in the shop.

If you are bringing your MPI claim to this location better find another place. They are not professional, no clear information, blame game between them and MPI. The whole week I been talking to this girl named Shelly, who said MPI claim was not reflected on their side. And I have to get claim number reflecting in their system in order to get my glass repaired. When I called MPI they said I have to book an appointment and have to go there and provide claim no and license plate. They shall be able to help me. I called again back, the guy who picked the call at this location was thinking it was some kinda of joke. He was like there is no claim from mpi. I told him that mpi mentioned to bring the vehicle to the store and provide info there. The guy thought it was kinda of joke going on and started laughing at me and made me feel like I was fool. And he wanted MPI to fax him first. Indeed which I called MPI back and told them the same and MPI person reached out to them directly. If you don’t want to do business that’s different story but not understating the frustration of Cx whose windshield is with growing crack which needs immediate assistance or Atleast car taken for repairs asap. I have called several time to this location and MPI. And what this location and MPI was telling me, I followed. This location wanted fax from mpi first with claim and mpi was telling to go to the location instead. I never used any bad word, no profanity. The guy at the location from bodyshop just hang up as if they don’t care. If the calls are recorded please review that call. Check with him what so funny in this whole situation to laugh at cx? This guy literally made me cry.

We got our Orlando from this dealer back in 2013 and each time i do an oil change, I will check the Traverse and apply a law of attraction that one they it will be ours. Yesterday God gave it to us. We are over the moon right now with our 2023 Traverse. This dealer is superb! Kyle and Kim were so patient and helpful. We were never forced and took their time to make sure we get what we want and we need. Thank you so much for your help. You made sure we get the best advice. I will always come back on our next dream car (corvette) lol. We got our other cars from different dealership like Store in Main, terrible services.

They ordered wrong part, or wrong part was shipped either way 2 weeks to get a part (ignition), then to have to wait even longer with no real apology or offer to compensate for massive inconvenience. (courtesy vehicle)

It is a lovely car, strong, well-maintained! That’s just from my first moment of test-driving it! I purchased the car with not only the car quality itself but more of Friendly service, lovely, warm greeting and caring staffs! They know what they are taking care of! I recently had an issue with the front brakes on my new truck as I traveled across Canada. The fine folks at Jim Gauthier (Rich Rioux - Service Mgr) who were kind enough to push me into the service lineup on short notice and fixed the issue under warranty. Not only that but they had me on my way quickly. Outstanding people in this established Winnipeg GM Dealership who go out of their way to service GM customers. Thank you to everyone at Jim Gauthier.)

I had a bolt puncture the sidewall on my new 2021 Equinox. On my quest to look for a single matching tire I called 4 tire shops and 4 Chevy dealers before finding it here. They installed it on the spot and even washed the car. Best part was the tire was $60 cheaper then the places that would order it for delivery in 3 - 10 business days. Kinda wish we bought our new car here too.

Not the best dealership and service repair shop. Bought 2012 chevrolet cruze after the warranty ends they refuse to repair the vehicle. I paid $600 for repair and they return the vehicle with the same issue. And then ask for more money to repair the issue. Not the best shop repair facility. This is probably the worst shop in winnipeg. Stay away from this crooked services. Their mehanics are a bunch of kids. A dog can fix it better.

Dropped in to the service department at noon on a Saturday with a car only running on 4 of 6 cylinders. The team was able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue (new coil) in just over an hour, which was a lifesaver for me. Thanks so much.every service experience with these guys has been very positive! Highly recommend!

Thank you so much the Chevrolet Equinox 2021 is the best vehicle I have ever owned it has more features than I expected. Great on gas and very comfortable. DISSAPOINTED WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP
If I could enter zero stars I would. Since buying my vehicle in 2015, the service quality has been worse than I could have imagined. I took my car in for regular service returning to the service department squaring up I went home and inspected the car over, oil was not changed brakes were not inspected they just pencil whipped the report which I paid for. They offered me to bring car back and they would do the work for real a second time. I received a couple free oil changes for my trouble, not enough. I purchased the third party warranty which turns out to be a great scam because I am not able to make a claim and the Service Dept does not call back or seem to care much at all.
Super Not impressed with Gauthier Chevrolet, and I will tell everyone to shop elsewhere.

Switched over to Gauthier for my vehicle purchases and could not be happier Henry Clyke was my Sales rep and was very good to work with ended up with a better deal than I even expected thanks again the drive way got an upgrade new Trax and Tahoe

Place is more confusing than the health sciences center and the lady I spoke to at the service desk was very rude and snappy to talk to. I'm glad I was only dropping off a customers vehicle and not my own personal car, also don't understand how the place can be so big and yet so hard to find an employee.

My dad and I went down to Jim Gauthier Chevrolet to buy a new 2021 Trax. I wanted to go to learn how the process of buying a car works. When we arrived, Henry Clyke was right there to help us with this process. He was inviting and he always made it a point to show us the best deals and try to find something for us that would leave us completely satisfied. He also went out of his way to teach/show me the process of buying a car and always made a point to have a conversation about his past in car sales and also about sports. All in all, he helped us find a really good car that my family enjoys driving. If you ever stop by Jim Gauthier Chevrolet, make sure to ask for HENRY CLYKE, the sales professional when you go!

I am sorry but I had very bad experience in service department. I dropped my vehicle for service and we asked to check AC. Which was in working condition, the only issue was that one time it tripped and reduce cooling otherwise it was perfect. We thought why not to ask them to check if it has any problem inside. Guess what they check and made the diagnosis that there is a air leakage. We said leave it for now because we were out of budget this month. I don't know what they did, my car’s AC stopped working, It's not turnning on at all. It's like they haven't get consent of the patient and perform surgery and now the patient is collapsed. I went to talk to them and they are so rude, they keep on saying that we checked and the air leaked however they should have told this before that if they will check the AC will stop working. We paid them diagnostic fees plus my working AC broke down.

Went in to have my vehicle appraised, and ill admit they were willing to match another dealerships offer (excellent business decision). While they were doing there own apprasil i was offered to take a CERTIFIED pre owned vehicle for a test drive, first thing i see is the check engine light on in this already certified vehicle (does not instill confidence in there service department) but mistakes happen.i get shown a 2nd vehicle and discover a part of the air intake from under the hood was infact on the floor in the back seat of the vehicle.best guess service department was changing a filter and it was home time.

Sales was very pushy, polite, but you can easily tell it is commission sales there and they will try to trap you to avoid you going to other dealerships.just your common unwanted and distasteful sales tactics.

Just purchased a 2018 Chevy Silverado High Country. Product advisor, Aman Singh took the time to extensively go over every detail of the truck before my wife and I took the vehicle for a test-drive. I received a fair deal for my trade and purchase price of the 2018 Chevy Silverado High Country. Business Manager, Jayden Gauthier was very helpful with available finance and warranty options. Both gentlemen were approachable, answering any and all questions. Overall, the experience was extremely positive and would highly recomend a visit to this dealership. Love the truck. Thanks again!

I went into Gauthier’s looking for a new truck. I met with Noah Gagne and Jamie DeGagne. These two guys are TOP NOTCH! They treated me with respect and honesty. Amazing experience. I want to give a huge shout out to Ashley Snifeld who was super awesome to work with. I recommend Ashley! Staff there are super awesome. They explained everything in great detail about how my new Equinox worked and all the amazing features it has. Ashley picked out a super beautiful colour and I am super happy with the one she chose for me. I am also super happy with the warranty, the free oil changes, & Gap protection. My car was clean and filled with gas. I also received a Tim Hortons Gift card from the staff. Amazing experience! 100% recommend Ashley Snifeld! Thank you again Ashley, experience was a 11/10! Terrible service, they had my vehicle for days and they told me they couldn't find the coolant leak and there was nothing wrong however my neighborhood garage found the leak no problem. When I went to pick up the vehicle it took them 40 mins to find my vehicle and the truck was returned to me dirty and still having the same issue they couldn't find! I would not recommended having any work done by them.

Had some work done at the service centre there, they’ve had my vehicle for 4 weeks now. I bought a Dodge there not knowing they don’t really know/or have the equipment to fix them. They had to send it to a Dodge shop to find out what was wrong with it. Why sell them if it can’t be serviced there. But I know now. Anyway, one thing I’m glad I did was get the warranty. And to top it all off. The repairs that were made there put my alignment off. So now they want me to pay for a wheel alignment too. Very frustrating experience.
Alright update: was excited today cause I thought I was finally get my vehicle back today but no. There's a leak they need to fix now. Asked how much that was gonna cost me. They caused it so it won't cost me anything. They caused the wheel alignment issue but want to charge me for that. Doesn't make any sense.

Well, initially i thought that my wife & I were getting a great deal when we purchased our new car, which was a Chevrolet Sonic. A week later i get a phone call from a sales representative from another Dealership in Winnipeg and stated that he had the exact same car for less $$. We purchased the Sonic for 19,500 at Gauthier's. This particular dealership had the Exact same car, new for 16,500. So i made a few phone calls to Gauthier's to see how this could be possible, but no response at all. Well what should i do, i'am just a small guy and felt totally powerless against a big dealership. So i decided to try 1 last ditch effort and call Randy Gauthier, at least he would listen to me for a brief moment and said that he would get back to me, But never did. Basically, we got your money thank you.
So with that being said, i will never step foot in that door again. For our service calls, well we are going to another Dealership for our new car.
Thank you Jim Gauthier for our wonderful experience (Not) Well, with a rebuttal to the dealership's response to my review. We did not take any financing. We paid cash for the vehicle period. So with that being said, we were untitled to the $ 3000.00 price difference. The dealership keeps changing their story. (Cheated).

Bought my 2012 Chevy Cruze from Gauthiers over 6 years ago and have no real complaints. There have been a few recalls but I think its normal for a new car to have and Gauthier has always got my car fixed promptly every time but once.
I bought a 2012 Equinox from another dealership just over a year ago and brought it to Gauthier to fix when I notice weird noises and it started shifting gears funny.
Having been to Gauthiers in the past I always deal with Matt Klassen who has taken good care of me and is always professional.
My Equinox needed some major repairs and Matt got them all fixed within the time frame he gave me. It cost me a lot of money but some of the repairs were still covered under warranty. They fixed it and so far its running like it never has since I bought it and thats all that counts.
Thanks for fixing my car and I'll continue bringing my cars to Gauthiers.

Never had a chance to post anything about this place. All I gotta say is I dont visit Gauthier delaerships, I dont buy Gauthier. Ive spoken to Jim himself which was as hard to get to be able to speak to as the pope, but I did. Im cautious now, I learned, I ask and find out if the dealership is owned by Gauthier, if it is I look elsewhere. I share my exp with friends and once they hear the horror story they agree and are worried to buy a car from any of his dealerships. So if you do buy a car from a dealership of his (feel sorry for you), youll understand what I mean. Dont say I didnt warn ya.

I needed a new car and only had one day off to pick out a new car and make a major purchase. My salesman Micheal was quick to help me out, was more than happy to make a deal the same day, and if it weren’t for my own schedule, I would have had the keys in my pocket that night. 100% satisfied. Was recommended by my parents who bought a vehicle from Jim Gauthier over 10 years ago and received the same excellent service. Was well worth the 30 minute drive, when Murray Chevrolet was only 5 minutes away from me.

Jorge rios is an excellent salesperson, besides being a great person to chat with, he does whatever it takes to get you a deal that fits your budget. Also, Loveleen Grewal explained all the multimedia functions to me and help me to setup my onstar account (which took a lot of her time). She was very clear and straightforward. Not to mention the car, it was our best option for sure. Thank you very much!
