JOEY Polo Park

Booked a 20 person table a month before. This is for a christmas party we planned for work. Hoping id get the stellar service i did in the past. This time it was very disappointing. We had it booked for 7pm. It took 2 and half hours for everyone to get their food. In addition to that. The bussers didnt know whos food is whos. In a high service restaurant industry such as joeys i would think there would be a system in place to know where the plates goes to which customer. Every plate that came by it was a confusion of whos order it was as we ordered in how we liked our steaks cooked differently. At 9: 30 it was when the last person on the table got the food. We were already late for our next event we had to go to. Waiters and acting manager was nice enough to compensate us for the night. But this doesnt take away the experience we were waiting for. In the end. The Food is only as good as the service given.

This was my first time at this branch of JOEY at Polo Park, and the food was great. The Sirloin Steak Frites was well seasoned, juicy and cooked perfectly medium-rare cooked, fries, and a salad with dry tomatoes. The other order was a Sirloin Steak & Ravioli Bianco, and this was divine. Seasoned perfectly with garlic and pepper. The desert was even better, really well prepared. We had a great time here.

One of the best dining experiences we've recently enjoyed. Right from the greeting, the service was on point. Our waitress, Emily T.was simply superb. Once she had enquired about our food preferences and sensitivities (good insight), she proceeded to recommend some great options and even suggested wine pairings. Once we had sampled some wines, we settled on the Cab Sauv that she had recommended and it was superb. The steak frites was excellent. Frites could have been warmer. Steak was juicy, tender and done to perfection. Side salad was an unexpected treat with a burst of flavour provided by the aeoli/garlic dressing. Emily was attentive and never far away, but did not hover. Will ask to sit in her section on our next visit.

Everytime I come to Joey, it’s a delight! The manager on duty Vanessa is always so helpful as well! Always comes to do a table and is always smiling!

One of my favorite sandwiches/burgers of all time! If you love Ahi Tuna, try this Club. I specifically go for the Ahi Tuna Club.
Service was friendly and attentive. The Sunroom made for a nice bright lunch.

We had a great meal at Joey’s Polo Park tonight! Our server Emily was fantastic. She was attentive and did a great job looking after us!

The food was okay and reasonably priced. They didn't take our reservation and then forced 18% gratuity. Tipping is supposed to reward excellent service not to be forced and mandatory. If they can't pay their staff appropriately they shouldn't be employing people and they definitely shouldn't be leaning on the customer to provide their salary on top of the food. It's disgraceful and embarrassing for everyone.

It was $18 for 8 tiny chicken wings drumettes and didn't even get one flat. So if you order wings make sure to ask for flats or you'll get none!

Emily To was delightful and attentive which made our lunch date, eating our usual favourites, all that more special! Her cheerful positivity is a great addition to this restaurant. Great job management as well!

Can’t go wrong grabbing drinks here or stopping for a meal. Service is professional and food is exceptional.

Brianna was excellent! She took great care of my food allergy and made sure that the table was well taken care of. Would definitely come back to be served by Brianna.

Dinner and drinks with the girls. Menu is pricey for both but great selection for a group, everyone can find something. Fun server staff, attentive and helpful with selections both drinks and food.

I just wanted to commend our server Nahanni for the service my sister and I received last night. We were both servers once upon a time, and honestly, it’s hard to find good service these days! Something has changed out there.
But, Nahanni went above and beyond our expectations, made great recommendations, was attentive, timely and so friendly, sweet and fun. I’ve been so disappointed in service over the last several years since leaving the industry but this was an absolute breath of fresh air! She deserves recognition:)

Always great food at Joey right by the mall. Steaks are cooked perfectly and there is a fun array of appetizers. Service is always quite good too even when busy so thats a big plus. A routine stop of mine for dinner in Winnipeg.

We were there on Monday June 26 at 9pm, our server let us sitting there without asking for any drinks for a while. Never come back to ask if we need more drinks or need anything. My friend steak came out over cook. The hot sauce never came until we asked her again when I’m almost done my food. We asked for take out container, she gave us a dirty used one still has carrot in it? Like what? And the place wasn’t busy at all. Our waitress just seemed to not happy to serve us.joeys polo park was our to go spot for years but this was the first time we all so upset about the service. We finished our food and left early, went to EARLS for better service. We won’t come back here again.

Overpriced and underwhelmed. The food was mediocre, and the portions were quite small considering the price paid.

It was actually very good. They do have a large lunch crowd, but that seem to have impacted the service minimally. I would recommend it. Try the salads

Delicious, nice ambience, friendly staff at prior visit.but food was off today.many spicy items on menu. Was unaware when ordering as menu did not indicate chicken sandwich item was spicy; did not feel well after.however a staff did offer to bring another item. Portions were good size and salad was good. I noticed after leaving some error occurred with their machine and an overtip resulted. Perhaps an off day but I would not return.

Our server Emily T.is very attentive to our needs and very friendly at the same time. She is a very good asset to this restaurant.

I was blown away at the quality of service and the flavors of the food. Had the Baja Fish Tacos and they were excellent.
