Nice, quiet place. Very strong smell fish, but in this case, it is a good thing. Their shrimp is fire. Lovely place. Would go again

Highly recommend this location. I’ve noticed here serving portion is much more than i’ve seen at other location. Servers are extremely nice. There is one time the guy didn’t wanted to take payment from us since we were tired and went after work. But I still paid in full. He was extremely nice to us.

Hands down best Joey’s in the city; I have been eating at this location since i was little and now my little homie get to experience it too! Service is always fast, food is always perfect, staff is amazing.

This place has tanked. Service is still good. The menu has been butchered. One paper page attached to a clip board No Halibut, French fries used to be endless. Coleslaw previously was included. Very disappointed and that was our last visit. Sad as it’s local for us but not willing to pay both more and get less.

The only reason I could think of for not giving the restaurant a 5 star was they only had French fries all you can eat that night.

Ordered the mussels.the garlic wine sauce was very very bitter. The wine was not cooked down. The nice server sent out another plate for me. The person that was at the front.perhaps the manager had brought it out and said try this one. He also said if it tastes the same that's how we cook it. It tasted the same. I told the server that.she was the only one that had apologized as i so I gave her a nice tip. The sauce was not good at all. You can tell that the wine was not cooked down. I hate to say it but the restaurant quality is not as good as it used to be

Freshly grilled Salmon and blackened Snapper with loads of fries, coleslaw and many more. Loved their seafood varieties. Kids meal is pretty reasonable as well. More than enough for a person. Strongly recommend for seafood lovers.

This restaurant is great and the food is very good and tasty. My girlfriend and I love seafood and this place fits the bill beautifully. We have had everything on the menu and everything is great, love the fish and chips as well as the calamari and assorted shrimp dishes. The owner is a very nice gentleman and the staff is great. I can hardly wait to come back.

Friendly service, generous portions of the best fish in Winnipeg plus never-ending fries. Can't beat that.

Always a great meal with huge portions. Had basically a full meal to take home after we feasted there. Colin is a stand up guy and always a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend

1. Cola was Flat. Replaced with an Ice Tea.
2. Ice Yea was warm (yuk)
3. Ordered a Ceaser Salad. It tasted like lettuce with vinigar.
4. Orded Halbut. Tasted OK but really needed chewing.
5. Server seemed like it was an effort to to look after a client. Not rude.but close.
This use to be a nice place to go.but now it is off of our list of decent restaurants.

It’s a very old school and family restaurant, food were great. I like the lobster sandwich most!

Have been dining at this resteraunt since it opened. Love the food, friendly efficient staff is always there to make your dinning experience most pleasurable.

Always great food. Fish was crispy and fries were tasty and plentiful. Curbside service was right on time and service was exemplary.

Sept 26/21 update. Went back for another very special bday. We had a safe and wonderful time. Treated wonderful food again fantastic got to taste the mudpie this time just go for it yummy! Yup took home doggy bag for those nice big servings. Some to eat later.

I found the fish and chips very tasty! Door dash was not the best delivery im afraid they were 40 mins late, but the resturant made me a fresh order which was so good of them as it was not their fault but Door Dash was.l can't recommend door dash deliveries again.

The fish was good but the experience was not. The first thing the waitress said was we close at 8 it was 720.so what happens if you are not finished your meal by 8 do they just take what is left and kick you out. An elderly man walked in at 740 and got the same speech.if you want to be out by 8 then close at 7. I felt rushed and so did my wife not cool

Great food and service.my Mom' fave. Phoned 10 mins ahead while driving there and the food was hot, fresh and ready when I arrived for pick-up.

We went for dinner and as always, fantastic. Food, atmosphere and staff all great. I would totally recommend this place.

Very clean. Food is great I have never had issues with the quality of food. Customer service is always positive and welcomes you with a smile. Very friendly staff.

Food delivered to wrong address with no name or address on the bag. Food was cold when I received it. Sent them a text. No response. Very disappointed.

Joey's on Meadowood helped us out with a gift for friends who recently lost their dad (whose favourite restaurant was Joey's). Mr. C. Butterworth called me personally when I wrote I wished they had ecards-he went out of his way making this gift happen, on Christmas Eve-THANK WONDEFUL YOU from the bottom of my heart!

Wonderful customer service, they gave us a discount "just because. " Felt a bit sick after, but maybe that's because I ate too much

Fish was great portion were large haven't been to a Joey's seafood in about 8 years loved it will be returning

The fish n chips is great. All you can it price is reasonable. But the staff behaviour is not that friendly.

The fish here is always amazing and the people are GREAT. They know your name and are very professional. I've been going here at least once a month on Tuesdays to have their All you can eat fish and chips for almost 10 years now!

A family favourite over the years. Same amazing customer service from long term staff and owners. Your warmth and hospitable environment is a great addition to the lovely food and dining experience we receive. A deserving 5/5. Highly recommend!

Food is always good with friendly and efficient service. Very reasonably priced for seafood. Great place for families.

We've been here many times and the service and vibe was great however that was not the case the last time we visited.the gentleman we are sure is the owner is normally super kind and friendly but was not this time. Was chatting with a group of older folks in the booth behind us and when it came to us we just got a stank look.

Waitress was terrible as well.my husband was not asked once if he wanted a refill on his soft drink and I was not asked about a coffee refill.

Restaurant was pretty slow.maybe 3 other tables.

Will come back but not for awhile.until the bad taste of this past experience goes away

I love the all you can eat fish n chips at Joeys. Just went there and this was my first time at this location. The pieces were bigger then where I normally go, and some were phenomenal! But.a few of the pieces were rubbery and tasted odd. If it was just one piece, that would be one thing. But four out of the five of us that went had one or more bad piece. That's a little higher rates then I'm comfortable with.would I go to this location again? Its going to be a no, for me

The owner seemed to know everyone there. This was our third time and we think we'll make this our regular. The Fish is awesome.

I got my food really fast and it was the best seafood around! Oh man that first bite was piping hot and delicious. The more you are the better it got!

Absolutely astounded with how good the service was and how willing they were to customize the menu items to meet the dietary needs of a friend and I who went for dinner this evening. Clean grilled shrimp, poached fish and special reduced ingredients salad. Not only was the meal amazing but the staff was supportive, proactive and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy (including the very friendly manager). We dined at the meadowood location in Winnipeg and will be back for sure! Great job guys, thank you for a wonderful experience!

Excellent! I rarely use that phrase for food cooked by others. Service was excellent. Fish tacos, mussels, cajun dinner, joey's seafood combo and fish & crab. ALL tasty. Cooked well and not overdone. The mussels were FABULOUS!

Ok food, personally feel the fries are not that good and fish is ok but small.nothing like a British fish and chips. The staff are attentive and friendly.

Been here many times. The food is always fresh and tasty. The two piece fish and fries always a solid choice. Always some to take home as the pieces are massive! They also are licensed and server beer! Bonus! Nice setting and the staff are very friendly. We will be back for sure. Thanks guys and gals!
