Extremely disappointed in almost every aspect. Especially communication and customer service.

We bought our home from Kensington in March 2021, our possession was delayed 8 times, each month they gave us next months possession date. Real Nightmare started after possession, NO DRIVEWAY, NO GARAGE DOOR, UNFINISHED EXTERIOR. Few days later 2 guys came to put exterior panel without even asking us they setup everything in garage and left all the garbage in our garage, there was no space in our garage to park our car. After months of waiting and lots of emails they finally send someone to clear our garage.still doesn't remove all the stuff.then again lots of email somebody came to pick it up. Worst paint job in my house. Forget to put upgraded window casing. Lots of stucco on windows. Finally we got a driveway after 9 months of possession.whole summer is passed no grading.these guys never reply to your emails or phone.if you want to ruin you dream home experience get a home from KENSINGTON HOMES.

Updating to 1 star as my post sales home buying experience has been garbage. Also editing to add that they failed to seal my garage interior wall properly and mice got in the house. I had to seal it myself and get an exterminator out.

My new driveway is crumbling, emails get ignored or responded to with curt, uninformative replies. But they did eventually agree to replace it - have yet to see it. They don't care once they have your money despite their workmanship being poor. Do not buy with Kensington. Or Qualico.

My home building experience with Kensington started off great. My sales person was amazing. Right through to possession everything was smooth. It was after possession that service went way downhill. I understand covid put things behind but to not respond to emails, not schedule service calls, and blame everything on covid 1-2 years later is not reasonable. My driveway was poured 1 year ago and started pitting horribly shortly after. They keep saying they don't warranty concrete but these are the guys you hired and the shoddy workmanship from day 1. I am not done contacting about this come spring.

Never buy a Kensington Home in Winnipeg. I am very frustrated with how they do service after. I boughta new home/show home and there are a lot of things i reported that needed fix, and they try to get out and let you burden the fix. Unbelievable!

Absolutely DO NOT build a home with this company! Save your hard earned money and go with a company that is reliable, professional and has compassion for its customers. We moved into our home in June of 2021. It was a Spec home with framing already completed at the time of purchase. We originally had a possession date for the end of July but they had requested to move the date earlier. Because we were excited and could not wait, we agreed to move in earlier. We immediately regretted this decision. We were told that all interior work was complete and that no one would have to enter the home. Upon possession we were surprised to see that the shower in the master bedroom ensuite was not complete. A couple of days later, workers came into our home to access the attic. They brought in huge machinery/equipment to fill the attic with insulation. We knew the exterior was incomplete but we understood that this is done on a seasonal basis. We were polite and patiently waited for this to be completed. However, it is now June of 2023 (2 years later) and our patience has simply run out. Masonry by the sides of the garage are still not complete. Our staircase attached to our deck has yet to be repaired (staircase installed with 2 missing steps at landing and is being held up by 2x4s). We have sent various emails and made numerous phone calls. No one can give us a direct answer. Either they do not reply or when they do, it simply says it will be done soon but cannot give a timetable. Again it has been 2 years and we are still chasing them to complete our home. Enough is enough!

What was supposed to be an exciting venture for our family as new homeowners has turned into a negative experience filled with emotional stress and anxiety. We regret buying a home built by Kensington Homes and would not recommend this company to anyone!

This is my first home with kensington builder. I already decided to build with kensington home whenever I want to build. I booked my home in November 2022 in most popular communities Bison Run.

It was an amazing experience. The building process was really smooth and hassle free. The builder agent her name is Lisa Lawrence is awesome and very helpful and nice person. Whenever I have questions I can get answers right away.

In addition agent explained very well the whole building process.

One important feedback is kensington should start to build back or side door or extra door to basment.

Overall it is great experience as for now.

Excited for building new home with Kensington homes.so far everything is going so smooth.hope for the best in future as well.

I am writing this review based on my experience with this builder over 10 years ago, I see that reading the reviews that not much has changed but the beautiful staging is a great distraction until you sign on the dotted line.

I built a house with this company many years ago in Kildonan Green. Had endless problems during the built. The people at the office were fine to deal with but our home's foreman was CHRIS LEMAY.

We had brought up the problems all throughout the build and I guess this took a toll on Mr. Lemay and whomever was under his supervisor and direction. Shortly after we moved in, our entryway powder room toilet was backing up and when THEIR plumbers came to snake the toilet, they found a cloth/dirty towel along with wood chips and debris from the build wrapped up, not only this but they swept all the dirty debris around the home into the vents. I guess the children working on the homes were upset. If you have read this far, I hope you keep this story in mind with whatever decision you make in using this builder.

So far everything is moving smoothly from one stage to the next stage. I believe it continues to the end. I totally recommend Kensington!

Today after my first experience with Kensington, I would think twice, or better at least 3 times, before buying a house with them, especially an unfinished one.
The sales part of the business is amazing, when you go to select the cabinets, flooring, doors, etc.is "magic". However, if you accepted to receive the house and it's unfinished, for them to complete.it may take "forever", especially if it goes beyond the "one year" warranty period. You will not be able to even raise a complaint at BBB - Better Business Bureau, because they require it to be inside the "1-year warranty period". You will need to file a complaint with the Provincial Consumer Protection Office.
It's been 2+ years, March 2021, since I bought my house with Kensington and they haven't finished the masonry on the porch of the house yet.
Think at least 3 times before doing business with this company.

This was love at first sight! We saw this house in a paper with the agent and then went to the local to see how it was.and “boom”! Kensington Home professional agent and team were really great to make everything happen smoothly. It was in October 2020 with possession for February 2021. All have been communicated in a good manner.

We really like this new developing area and it feels pleasant and welcoming. We really like to recommend to others and our family friends as well.

The customer care was fantastic and accommodating.
Ar the moment, the house is under excavation.

I looked at lot of homes but I found quality of Kensington homes better than their counterparts. Representatives of the company are experienced professionals and helped me to take the right decision. They provided me the quality information that was really valuable.

We built with Kensington, terrible quality and horrible customer service. They do not care about you once the paperwork is signed. It was honestly a nightmare. Stay away from this company at all costs. I would give 0 stars if I could. They are incompetent.

My house is near island lakes.creatmont.it just done for basement.but from first met.price.talk about detail.all were perfect. I am so expect my house.thanks Kensington!
