The lady who helped me was incredibly pushy with her sales tactic. Having a sales background myself I know the pushy sale doesn’t work for me. It felt rushed and I felt like a dollar sign to her. I ended up buying my dress elsewhere. Great selection of dresses and the lady at the front are why I’ve given a decent star rating.

We had an amazing experience at LA Collection buying my daughter's grad dress! We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in even though we were about 15 minutes early for our appointment. The consultant that we were scheduled to be with was stuck in traffic, but at our exact appointment time, Kristen (the receptionist) came over to help us get started with selecting some dresses to try on. Kristen ended up staying with us for our entire appointment & we couldn't be more happy that she did! She was so helpful and patient and never once did we feel like she was rushing us or pushing us to buy a dress. My daughter ended up choosing her dress and a few other staff members came over to congratulate her & comment how lovely she looked. Thank you so much to Kristen for your kindness - you helped my daughter create memories that will last a lifetime!

I have been here for a grad dress, my sister’s wedding dress and now my own wedding dress! The service I have received here each time has been wonderful! And Daphne, the consultant I had for my wedding appointment, was PHENOMENAL! I highly recommend asking for you if you’re making an appointment. And as a plus size woman, they had numerous options for me to try on and I never once felt self-conscious trying on dresses (as I have in other stores). Just fantastic all around! Thank you for the wonderful services!

I had a great experience finding my dream dress but afterwards was not what I expected.

I’m usually a size 6- they ordered me a size 10 dress. When received it was floating on me. So there were a lot of alterations to be done. When we asked they said around $400 for it to be altered. I just assumed that they knew what to do. They started to pin me up. Needed shortening, arms taken in and taken in around hips and bum. Plus adding a bustle. The string that was attached to the front had feathers and was damaged. But still managed to pay for it to be fixed.

Pick up my dress after alterations-and they put 3 bustles on my dress, and charged me $700 for alterations.
My dress still didn’t fit around my waist and bum. I was in shock when I put it on and had no idea what to say because I felt they were just ruining my whole experience of a beautiful moment.

I called back about the bustles and they tried to get me to pay for it but I argued that it was their mistake and it was written on my receipt. They fixed it and I took my dress to another seamstress. She fixed my dress for a whopping $40 and she couldn’t believe the cost that I put into it to be altered. It should have been a whole new dress! I felt I got taken advantage of because I didn’t know any better to go somewhere else to get altered.

I bought my wedding dress, veil and jewellery from LA Collection for my August wedding. I had a wonderful experience with them! Elaine did my alterations and she was amazing. She had great suggestions and made me feel stunning in my dress. They also offered to steam my dress the week of my wedding which was incredibly helpful! Highly recommend!

My daughter just got her grad dress here today! The front desk staff (Kirsten) was welcoming and helpful. Betty our consultant was fantastic. Patient, listened to preferences, friendly and hard working. Very professional and positive experience.

Just had my try on appointment for my bridesmaid. Honestly did not enjoy the service one bit. The person at the front was EXTREMELY RUDE when a customer came in to look around and possibly try on with out appointment after She was told no the customer left and the receptionist gossiped to another worker saying they didn't want their business anyways. Also our person that was helping us wasn't that great. Would not be buying dresses from there just solely based on customer service

I had an AMAZING experience at LA Collection!

I am a 2024 Bride, and Me and my bridesmaids all got our dresses here at this amazing establishment! I was blown away with the positive atmosphere and friendly faces here at the store! This was not my first time buying a dress from here but each experience was amazing!

From the moment I walked in for my appointment I was greeted by not only my bridal consultant but the owner as well! Daphne, my bridal consultant was absolutely amazing! She was very informative and helped find my dream dress! I tried on numerous styles and with each dress Daphne was very informative and showed me details I would have never had looked at! Lo and behold, she found a dress that was exactly what I was looking for! She took her time with me and really helped me find THE DRESS! I LOVE HER! So funny and nice and we really created a bond that I will cherish forever! Would definitely recommend all my friends and family to come here! My experience was phenomenal!

When coming back with my bridesmaids, it again was such an amazing and fun experience! They got to try on numerous styles of dresses and Daphne was very attentive and helpful with all their dresses! When asked for recommendations she was very quick to showing us other styles that we missed when looking the first time! We again found THE DRESSES for my wedding day and I was so pleased with the ones we decided! I can’t express how happy I am finding both my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses here! With me buying my dress at the store they offered my bridesmaids 15% off and they even included a free garter for me on my wedding day! Was blown away with the service and the great discount they gave us! My bridal party and I have nothing but good things about this place! They really made us feel so welcomed and we walked out of there with a huge smile on our faces!

My best advice to anyone looking to buy any wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses or event gowns, YOU NEED TO COME HERE! You will NOT regret it! Ask for Daphne and you’ll have the absolute GREATEST experience EVER!

1/10 – worst experience ever. The employee was soooo rude towards my Maid of Honor, no inclusive sizing, no one welcomed us, there was SO much glitter on the floor - it seemed like no one vacuumed that floor in 6 months. Whole process was just terrible: (

I had a very unpleasant experience with LA collections.

My vision was a Cinderella ballgown, the consultant Chelsea sold me an A-line and told me that the silhouette is achieved by adding more underskirt. For this reason the dress was ordered a size up to fit more layers. When the dress came in the seamstress said that this was not true that a ballgown is a different dress shape altogether and consultants "don't really know what they are talking about". You would think someone selling a dress would know.

The top was much too big on me, and had to be altered three times after arguing with the seamstress that it did not fit. She wanted me to add padding and "scoop" but it looked obvious it was too big. It was fixed in the end, after spending almost as much as I did on the dress itself.

The seamstress cut her finger and bled on my dress at one point, didn't say anything until I asked.

My bridesmaids dresses were also ordered wrong, I was told the colour and material and later called saying the dresses didn't come in that colour.

After everything the owner had said "there all good now just enjoy your wedding day" although I was clearly upset with the entire ordeal. No solutions were offered.

DO NOT SHOP HERE.my wife ordered a dress and and put a large cash deposit. The girl taking her order did not place the order in there system and one month before wedding we call to see where the dress is and THEY DID NOT HAVE IT or ORDER IT like they said they would when they took the deposit, and it was out of stock! Leaving her with one month to find a dress before wedding.adding more stress.workers are RUDE and INCOMPETENT.when asked for a refund they email transferred to WRONG email. Do yourself a favor and SHOP ELSEWHERE this place is COMPLETE TRASH! Would give 0 stars if possible

Everyone was so helpful and gave my future daughter in law and group their full attention and made us feel special. Highly recommend.

Bought my grad dress from here. Absolutely loved the experience. They were able to accommodate to everything. The staff was very understanding and patient. Lots of dresses to choose from as well!

Buying my dress was a great experience. However, I was sold a damaged veil at full price. The veil was put on and taken off by the sales person, I never held it in my hand, and when I paid, it was already wrapped up. The morning of my wedding, we found a huge section of pearl beading was missing and the fabric was damaged. If I had known it was damaged I never would have bought it even if it was discounted. Extremely upset and disappointed with that and felt it was really slimy of them to sell a damaged veil.

LA collections is fat phobic and makes people pay extra ($50 in this case) for sizes over 14. Not sure why they can’t evenly spread the price out for all sizes as there’s still a big difference from size 0 to size 14 which is not charged extra. It’s way over priced, but has lovely dresses.

I have been to LA Collection a few times now. As a junior bridesmaid, my graduation dress, and now my wedding dress. I had great experiences the first two times I went. But the third time was honestly amazing. I booked an appointment online and they called me the following day to confirm. I walked in on my appointment day and they were so warm and welcoming. We had our own private space which was so awesome! The girl I had helping me (I think her name was Mary) was absolutely wonderful. She was super on top of things in every aspect and made me feel super comfortable, as trying on wedding dresses can be pretty overwhelming. She made the experience so perfect for my mom and I. She was so helpful and was such a great personality to have helping you find that perfect dress! The rest of the team that works there is also so lovely. When I was trying on my dress all the employees were so excited and hyping me up. Such a positive environment! I HIGHLY recommend!
