Great store - the entrance is way too crowded now with the tables and chairs blocking most of it. But I do love that they have a little cafe set up despite that.

Best cakes always have my order ready no mistakes but they do run out of bakery stuff every time I go it’s usually sold out

Great place for all your Mediterranean needs. A little disappointed that you can't buy buns, cheese sticks, etc by the singles. It's a Covid thing, I understand. Awesome cheese selections, and a great meat counter.

Best baked in store chicken mushroom lasagna I've ever had. All options are delicious

They got some goooood tasting premade cakes. A life saver when you remember your friends birthday last minute.

Very nice store. Chicken alphreado is fantastic should have plane noodles for it and have it always available. Sometimes i crave it:)

An amazing place to buy in-store made desserts, hot dinner items, fire oven pizza, and the best selection of cheese, wine, & deli items.

The desserts are hidden in the back and worth looking for: they make cakes and even sell them by the slice! Tons of items individually sized. It's literally a gallery of desserts! You can see walk in fridges with rows and rows of cakes! You get a free chocolate plaque for a greeting on every cake! Great price point for desserts.

My only complaint is they still use Styrofoam for hot meals. And the produce and meat/ fish is pricey. Nice selection but it is at a premium.

It's also got a gifts, seasonal baskets, poinsettias at Xmas and a primo wine store!

In summer, the owners have a pretty amazing outdoor vegetable garden. I hope that's what's in the hot meals but I'm not sure.

Cakes are pure sugar. I’m very disappointed within La Grotta cake. No cake but a heavy layer of icing. I put it in the trash because nobody wants to eat

Beautiful selection of cured meats, fresh fish including oysters, cakes, and wines. Everything you need for a great meal!

Their cake is the greatest, groceries were very expensive but i was able to find baking goods that normally can’t find at bulk barn.

Best cake in the city. I ordered oreo cake for my husband’s birthday and everybody loved it! Thankyou Denardi- (La Grotta) for making our occassion so special. Highly recommended everyone! If you love cakes- this place is a must go!

Lovely little market to go if you're in the area. It's a busy market so parking is hit and miss but people are in and out pretty quick. There's a bakery, meat vendor, cheese counter, gelato stand and dry and canned goods. Fresh vegetables and other misc items. My girlfriend just got me a cake from here and it was one of the best cakes I've ever had. Will be returning to try the other stuff eventually. Would highly recommend going in and taking a look!
