La Lune Event Venue

We cannot say enough good things about this place. Such a beautiful location, with lots of space and amazing atmosphere! La Lune has it all, a beautiful permanent ceremony spot outdoors, as well as a moveable arch that can be decorated and moved to wherever you want! One of the things I can't get over is the stellar communication we had between us and the venue the entire time. They offer all-inclusive packages (even for weddings with less than 80 people attending)! I found it very reasonably priced compared to others, and it was by far the most beautiful! We did the all-inclusive package (50 people attending) and all I had to do was make a Pinterest board of the vibe we were going for and they took care of decorating and continuity throughout the venue! Little to no decorating was needed on my behalf! They also have a cute little cottage to get ready in, and multiple perfect spots for pictures! We also did not want to spend money on a DJ so we made our own Spotify playlist and connected wirelessly to their speakers, which was super convenient! This all worked out perfectly and they were always around for help if we needed it. Overall, Dianne and Kendell-Jo were so amazing throughout this process and we cannot recommend them enough!

Venue is nice, but if you want to enjoy your day I’d strongly recommend not to book here, ridiculous rules, constantly being followed and critiqued on what you’re doing wrong and what “rule” is being broken. Again I would not recommend this venue to anyone. Just was not worth it.

Wedding venue of my dreams

Wedding date: September 9th, 2023.

The first time we went to visit La Lune was in summer of 2021 and I knew right away that it was going to be the place we were going to get married. From the beautiful physical space itself to meeting Dianne (the owner), it was a no brainer.

The all inclusive package Dianne and her team offers takes the stress out of what could possibly be the most stressful day of someone’s life. From table settings, decorations, set up and take down to renting the buses for guest transportation and booking the DJ, they did it all.

Dianne, Kendall-Jo and the team at La Lune are passionate about what they do and it shows.

The last time we visited and it was beautiful. The venue is clean, modern and just absolutely gorgeous. So many spots for pictures inside and outdoors. All my moody boho dreams came true here.

There are also plenty of space indoors and out for guests to mingle and Lounge and enjoy the wedding. From beautiful vintage looking sofas inside to and outdoor patio and bar with a fire pit, our guests had the best time. Also, the dance floor is outside which was so nice to dance on at night with all the pretty lights!

We even had a fireworks show - all put together/organized by La Lune.

The day of the wedding, before any of the guests arrived, my husband and I had our first look of the decorated space. To say the least, I cried. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect and I was in love. Better than I could have ever imagined.

Dianne, Kendall-Jo and the team worked so hard into making things perfect for us. Both leading up to and on the day itself. They went above and beyond.
But most importantly, they gave my husband and I a place to celebrate each other with our family and friends. And for that we are forever grateful!

It’s a beautiful venue. If I had an option not giving them a star I definitely would. The owner and her worker are absolutely rude. It was hard to enjoy the special day they were constantly on us all evening, they were so rude to the guest. It was hard to enjoy the day with them watching us every move we made. If you want to enjoy your day, DON’T BOOK IT HERE!

Wonderful place for a wedding. Other than the drive home perfect evening in this quaint place. Loved it. Service was great. Bravo

La Lune was the first venue we viewed and we fell in love right away. We had two other venues scheduled to view that day and my husband wanted to cancel other viewings and just make a deposit immediately.

What I liked most about La Lune was that it was dog-friendly and the fast communication aside from the beautiful venue itself. They were very swift to respond to all our queries throughout the wedding process without judgement. I actually thought the promptness would change once we make a deposit since i’ve dealt with businesses that are like this once a deposit has been made, luckily, they were consistent!

We went for the all-inclusive package since we want our wedding to be stressed-free. I’m the type of person that likes to plan everything like to the smallest details, but when I met Dianne, i knew i could just trust her plus the positive reviews I have read on all things wedding in manitoba facebook group page. To be frank, I have trust issues and i’m very particular, but for me to trust Dianne on our first meeting was a big yay for me. You could tell she’s an expert when she talks! She’s very passionate and informative. I’m happy that we gave our full trust to Dianne and to Kendall. They surely did not disappoint. They listened and paid attention to what we wanted and delivered. The decors were beautiful and magical. We loved all the details! They did a great job on following the wedding inspiration I have at Pinterest. Our wedding guests have expressed on how beautiful the venue was and how everything was thought of! Thank you again! We had the best time and the wedding of our dreams at La Lune.

When I first saw pictures of La Lune, I knew we had to check it out as a possible wedding venue and I am so glad we did!

From the fairy lights spread throughout the reception venue to the lounge areas and outdoor bar and dance floor to all of the Instagrammable locations, La Lune is a stunning wedding ceremony/reception venue. You can tell from all of the little details around the venue that Dianne and Kendall-Jo love La Lune and working with all of the couples who get married there. They were both so responsive and went out of their way to make the day perfect for me and my husband and to make La Lune into our dream venue.

I will always remember having our first dance under the stars, playing lawn games in my wedding dress, and dancing in the rain with my friends and family.

Beautiful location for a wedding. Only issue was the smell of cow poop lol. But the grounds are clean and the staff were friendly!

La Lune in Manitoba is an absolute gem of a venue. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was struck by its unique charm and beauty. As a photographer, I was blown away by the gorgeous natural light that floods the space, providing the perfect backdrop for stunning photos. Every inch of this venue is picture-perfect, from the quaint outdoor patio to the intimate dining area. And the food? It's simply divine, with a menu that features fresh, locally-sourced ingredients prepared to perfection.

Whether you're looking to host an intimate wedding, a corporate event, or a special celebration with friends and family, La Lune in Manitoba is the perfect venue. It's rare to find a space that is both elegant and comfortable, but La Lune manages to strike the perfect balance. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable event experience.

We cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and Dianne herself. From our first tour to the day of the wedding, everything was fantastic. Dianne is so easy to work with and really, truly cares about her couples. Her attention to detail and genuine love for what she does comes through every time you talk to her. She answered all of my million questions and offered so many helpful suggestions and support throughout the whole process. We utilized her all-inclusive package and would recommend it to anyone! She takes so much of the stress off the couple and truly makes the vision of your perfect wedding day a reality. I could not imagine being able to put together a more beautiful ceremony and reception then she did for us. The venue was so perfect for us. The mix of outdoor and indoor areas of the venue and the beauty of the space is unmatched in our opinion. We can’t thank you enough Dianne for making our day absolutely perfect in every way!

I photographed Nicole + Spencer's gorgeous wedding here and I loved working at this venue. The space looks incredibly versatile and there is a lot of gorgeous "moody" light to work with. Dianne and her team were super easy to work with and I could tell she is passionate about what she does!

My partner and I had our wedding ceremony (Sept 2021) and 1-year anniversary party (Sept 2022) at La Lune. The TLDR is that both events were above and beyond what we imagined!

La Lune is a breathtaking venue, inside and out. Aside from the beautiful chandeliers, there are so many other pretty things that are already on-site (ex.vintage furniture, arches, decor items). The Aurora Borealis even came to party with us!

Working with Dianne was the cherry on top. She guided us through the chaos, remained patient through our panic, remembered what we forgot, and designed/delivered the moody wedding aesthetic of our dreams. Beyond planning and running the events, Dianne truly cared for us as well as our family and friends. She even made sure my partner and I ate!

We are so thankful for Dianne/La Lune for helping us celebrate our love in such a beautiful, fun, and memorable way!

NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Owner claims to go above and beyond and care about her couples but that could not be farther from the truth. All evening she and her staff were rude to not only my vendors but my guests. Wine bottles and their glasses were literally taken out of my guests’ hands and tables were cleared while they were still sitting around them. She makes promises about amenities included with the venue and does not deliver. When you try and talk things over – she takes ZERO ownership over the events of the evening and denies everything. I could go on with several more problems which all lead back to the owner and her staff but will leave you with this; if you want to enjoy your special day – DO NOT BOOK HERE!
