Amazing Mexican taste the atmosphere of the restaurant is so nice and the waiters are so friendly. Music 10/10

The place looks great. Food was pretty good but to pricey imo. Spent 33 bucks for 1 drink and 3 tacos

Great patio, food and live music. The smokey margarita and the spicy margarita were awesome.

We came at 6: 30 and left at 10.

Went on a Tuesday, 3 tacos for $12, half price Mexican beers. Good value, great service and food. Will go again.

We waited an hour in line and watched over 30 people butt ahead of us. No private party notice just five “security guards” not paying attention. Wasted my own night off in this city.

Was pretty excited to try this place w my girlfriend, I'm Hispanic and I really enjoy Hispanic food. Super disappointed, wasn't that authentic and the service was not the best imo. We waited long for the waitresses to even acknowledge us and get our order, then took even longer to get the bill so we could head home. Atmosphere was the only decent thing there, the food is so disappointing and so basic. Overall just not the best experience I was hoping for.

This place has such a cool atmosphere and decor! Love the patio. Great margaritas! Lovely service and the food is amazing especially the avocado tacos! Great place downtown to visit if you like Mexican food!

Would not recommend to anyone with hearing impairment. We arrived for our reservation and asked to be on the patio as I have hearing aids and the indoor was loud. It took asking four times to get put on the patio list & the server said “I wouldn’t count on it” so we sat inside for the meal. It was nearly impossible to talk across the table with the music volume. This was super discouraging as this was our first date in months & we chose La Roca BECAUSE of the patio. I’d encourage management to consider how to better accommodate handicaps & better train servers in how to communicate the wait time. Possibly add the patio as an option in the reservation bookings.

Super disappointing. The patio was full because the top floor was closed and all of the seating inside was on super high chairs, which was difficult for my guest. The first margaritas were good, not great, but the second round was hard to drink - they were very bitter. We ordered tacos and tableside guacamole. The guac was alright (Moxies is better.) but the tacos were the real disappointment. The tortillas fell apart, they were topped with canned pineapple and the flavors were mediocre. It came with a side of canned corn and runny beans. We felt rushed by our server, despite the restaurant interior being empty, and left just after an hour. With tip this experience somehow ended up costing $140. Pick somewhere else.

Shout out to mf Cassie! She slayyyyed and gave my friends and I the best service! She really ehnanced our night!

Usually they have a crazy long lines before parties and after that such a small place to whole bunch of people.

It's a good place. I love the food and the Latin music. However, I think the music could be a little louder.

If you like waiting in line this is your place! Went there last night and waited in line for an hour and a half.was at the very front of the line for 30 minutes while they pumped people through the vip line. Meanwhile the other line is wrapping around the block.

I don’t understand how this place still has a food licence. Absolutely. Disgusting. The beans tasted Moldy the spices are way off, i through my whole order out in the garbage and made skip give me my money back.

I was planning to go to La Roca for my bachelorette. First, for dinner, followed by dancing at their nightclub.

A few days before my event, someone from La Roca called and let me know that the restaurant would now be closed for dinner. She was incredibly apologetic and offered to provide free drink tickets for our original party (10 people).

The woman said she would offer me 10 complimentary drinks, regardless of whether the size of my party changed (since we’d now being having dinner elsewhere, some people were unable to go to the club afterwards). I was a bit surprised, but impressed by her generosity and willingness to help.

When we got to La Roca, however, the night manager said none of this had been documented anywhere. Although the misunderstanding was not her fault, the way she chose to communicate this to me was incredibly disrespectful. She constantly talked over me and cut me off mid-sentence whenever I tried to speak. I can’t remember the last time I encountered someone so condescending.

The whole situation was very awkward because I felt like I was caught in the middle, and it was very confusing and uncomfortable for me and my guests.

She eventually offered to get each of us a drink but I was so upset by this point, I chose water and didn’t buy any alcohol the rest of the evening. We didn’t stay long.

Despite considering La Roca one of my favorite restaurants in the city prior to this, I don’t know if I’ll go back.

Can't thank the staff enough. We booked a group of 10 after we landed and they had a table ready for us. The ladies that served us were amazing and very friendly. Thank you very much La Roca.

La Roca is a detriment to the downtown community. They play loud music on the patio on weeknights and it can be heard until 2am. They don't care that residents of apartment buildings blocks away can hear them. Liquor and Gaming commission will be getting a call next.
