Lacoste Garden Centre Winnipeg

Phoned to get a landscaping quote. First contact we were given the basic info and how we can go about things. Contacted again to get things starts and no one replied. Contacted them a second time and nobody replied, contacted a third time and nobody replied. This is leaving roughly just over a week in between contact. Finally decided to phone and explained my frustration. Later that day the manager called and apologized then set up a day and time for himself to come down to our place and take a look. Manager showed up we went through things. He then told me he would need about 5 days to get things together for us. 5 days past then 6,7,8 now we are on 14 days and still haven’t heard a word from them. I emailed the manager directly asking why it’s taking so long and he still hasn’t emailed me back. We wanted a landscape plan that I would be doing myself but would be purchasing everything from them and that is part of what they do. Unfortunately their customer service is horrible. I’m not chasing a company around to try and get their business. There are others around. Sad thing is that we have always used them for a number of years for various things and to get this type of service is just a slap in the face and ver unprofessional. This review will be getting posted on Facebook on a continual basis.

Beautiful setting and many plants. Very tempting area full of neat clothes and gifts. Not enough staff to help with questions, but I found what I wanted eventually

One of the best in the city with very high standards for their plants and fair pricing. The coffee bar is a nice touch!

Victoria Day super crowded. Even though they were super busy we found a staff member eager to help. The staff member led us to the Virginia creeper plant. Which I did not know its name and I had a very early spring photo of but they were able to identify it.

I want to express our appreciation for the care and attention to detail that Calvin, the tree guy, exhibited in directing our purchase of several flowering trees for our backyard. They arrived in time to display their beautiful blossoms and gave us great pleasure and enjoyment. Thank you Calvin.

Obsessed with this place! I could literally look around for hours! So many amazing items to look at. The greenhouse smells of fresh flowers and herbs, it’s Devine! Rows and rows of almost every plant you could imagine. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They also have a coffee shop, Fools & Horses, and an outdoor patio to sit, sip and relax. I hope to make it here many times throughout the season.

Went there on Mother's Day to look for a specific annual that they'd posted on Instagram. They had it, so I grabbed half a dozen, but HOLY BUSY. They had the line wrapped around like we were waiting to ride Space Mountain and it extended well into the greenhouse.
I texted my husband, waiting outside, that it would be a while. "A while" wound up being around only ten minutes and no hardship at all. Great work, cashiers and everyone else! (And thanks for the beautiful flowers.)

Love this greenhouse/home decor shop/clothing store. First the greenhouse. Its huge! Love all the plants, i always find something new to plant. The homedecor shop. They bring in all the trendy items as well as the old faithful items. Prices can be a bit expensive in this area. But what isnt these days. The staff are so friendly and are always willing to help you out. I am usually there once a month in winter and in spring, weekly. It is such a calm and relaxing place to spend a afternoon.

Our favorite place to buy tropical plants. Friendly knowledgeable staff. A few times now we went to SMN first, found it pricier, and endedup buying everything from LaCoste.

They help me run my small bussines and supply good landscaping materials. They even went out if their way to service me properly the other week ago, i am sad the close for so long over the holidays but am sure it will be worth the wait.

What a great assortment of everything garden. There is clothing, tools, plants, seeds in plant food, pots, etc. This centre is amazingly decorated for Christmas. If you are looking for the hard to shop for, consider here.
