Friendly reception and great place to get your dental needs done. I've been going to Lakewood Dental since I was a kid, although I do miss seeing Dr. Doug he is the best! Dr. Derek is amazing!

We have been going to Lakewood dental for 9 years and find all of the staff at Lakewood dental, from reception to the hygienists and dental assistants are courteous, professional and friendly. Lakewood is a family dentist practice, serving children and adults.

I am so impressed with the whole team. Working through getting you the best appointment time to suit your schedule to getting the insurance company's information. Unbelievably supportive easy to work with.

Always terrific work, service and care from everyone here. Have not had a single bad experience in 25 years since moving my dental health to Dr Doug!

I recently had the regular cleaning done at Lakewood Dental - the doctor was extremely patient and thorough with process. Everyone - including the front office staff, have been very friendly through out the entire process: check-in, dental procedure, billing.

The cleaning went very well and I had no problems at all. Thank you for the great job of scaling.

I travel 2 and a Half hours just to get the service I want from these wonderful and very friendly professionals at work. I haven't smiled in years and they helped me to do so and it only took 2 visits.

Lena, the dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth, was both professional and sociable (something that is important to me). She was also very patient while dealing with my particular oral health needs. Dr. Doug did his quick check, and passed along his dentistry-related wisdom.

I called on a Monday morning and was able to see a dentist by 10: 30 that same morning. Quick service and diagnosis. Very satisfied with that clinic.

Easy 5/5 stars. I had a cleaning, some fillings, some other small stuff and my experience went like this:
I have a terrible history with dentists and unfortunately some significant mental health problems. I had to go for 2 appointments for my cleaning (my fault not theirs) and both hygienists were fantastic. Very gentle, explained everything, and super sweet young ladies. It really impressed me how the staff communicated everything about my visits and phone calls, so I didn't have to repeat anything and try to remember what I wanted done throughout the appointments I had. They had everything documented in their computers and that made it a lot easier for me to only have to explain it once including a referral the Dentist made for me to a Prosthodontist for some possible cosmetic work.
But what impressed me the most was Dr. Derek Milani. I was assigned to Dr. Milani because of his unique specialty and history working with special needs patients, and I was hoping to work with someone with a lot of patience because of my anxiety. He made things really easy, super comfortable, and did an excellent job with all aspects of my treatment. My husband even noticed that I was less anxious with this Dentist.

I lost my dentist suddenly when I was younger and was never able to find one that made me feel comfortable, but Dr. Rose and Dr. Derek were able to change that.

Dr. Derek specializes in people with anxiety issues and made me feel at ease throughout every appointment (along with the amazing hygienists.) I honestly thought I was going to need all sorts of sedation for my procedures, but he allowed me to overcome my fear and didn't pressure me at all to make any decision I didn't want to.

If you're looking to overcome your dental fears, I can't think of a better place to go in Winnipeg. Thanks again to everyone at Lakewood Dental

Very thoughtful and professional. Did a wonderful job extracting a tooth and giving me a temporary bridge. The staff is wonderful. The assistant kept checking if I was doing ok as it was a long procedure. I’m so glad I was referred to dentist.

Staffs are very nice and friendly. I always feel comfortable coming to this dental clinic. I have the best dental hygienist, she’s gentle at cleaning my teeth, and helpful with my questions.

Amazing staff, squeezed us in a week before our wedding for teeth whitening and they look so good. 1000 thanks to this crew for making us look great for our wedding day. At least 8 shades whiter I’d say in one sitting

Outstanding as always! Clinic was booked solid, I called as lost part of a filing & I was going out of Province for 2 1/2 weeks. They made a slot for me within a day, assessed my tooth & gave me a full cleaning. Danny was outstanding, did a thorough cleaning & was super efficient & gentle! Dr. Doug moved another patient as to get me back within a couple days to repair my filing. Shannon stayed overtime to assist & within an hour, filing all taken care of & I will be on the road tomorrow feeling confident that I will not have any issues while on vacation. Super efficient & friendly front office staff! Highly recommend Lakewood Dental Centre!

Dr. Derek and Nurse Gloria were amazing! They fixed my chipped tooth in record time. Best experience I have ever had at the Dentist appointment. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Milani is truly the best dentist. I made everyone aware before my appointment and then again on the day of my appointment that I've got a lot of dentist anxiety. Dr. Milani reassured me, gave me the opportunity to take breaks as necessary, and explained things in a way that made sense. We discussed options for sedation and the work we have ahead of us. For anyone hesitant to go to the dentist, give Lakewood Dental Centre a call, they will take good care of you!
