Leopold's Tavern - Bridgwater

We ordered the burrito bowl and poutine of the week. Food was delicious, our waiter was fantastic and friendly. We were Sat near the bar where a few waitresses off shift were gathered. They spent the whole time complaining about customers and a bad review they received. I don't know the story but may be best to do that quietly or after hours when other customers can't hear you.

Never been here and wife brought me for taco Tuesday, well I love tacos and these didn’t disappoint! BTW I love beer so that helps…

Ordered for delivery and food was delicious. Like that their food seems to travel well (still very good when getting it delivered as opposed to many restaurants).

I find it's a bit pricy for what they serve, plus the portion sizes are inconsistent when ordering takeout or delivery.

Brought my husband there for lunch today, it was his first time there and he absolutely loved it! It is now his favourite place to eat! Highly recommend

Went for drinks and some quick bites, the buzz was great, the drinks were fine, the staff was amazing. Enjoyed the cheese and garlic bread and fried avocado bite, if I recollect the name right. Would surely be going again. Overall a lively atmosphere in our neighbourhood.

After theater snack, wings and poutine. Tavern quite full on Friday at 1030 pm. Post football game crowd primarily. Service was quick and correct. Food was tasty and came out hot. Drinks were replenished and servers attentive to all in area.

Their plant-based burger tastes funny and smells funny too. Worst plant based burger I’ve had but at least the fries were delicious

Placed an order online with LeosToGo on the website. Order was placed easily enough. After the fact it seems that their app could not tell what time zone I was in. So when I requested a 6pm pickup it pushed it out to 7pm.

When I tried to call, there are no phones in the stores. Needed to submit a ticket online with a 24-48 hour response time.

Just went to the store to see what was going on and the staff were friendly and put a rush on my order for me. Without their staff, this would have been a lower score.

Food is good. Online ordering not so much.

First time here. Ordered the pineapple margarita but couldn’t drink it, tasted horrible. There was no salt around the rim. I asked the server for another drink right away but they did not ask how my drink was. My BF and I ordered the special taco of the month (bang bang shrimp). The corn tortilla was soggy and cold and both of our tacos had tails on the shrimp! If I didnt notice, those would have been hard to swallow. We told the server and she said they are supposed to be left on. We were not offered a different taco or option. Took the 4 tails off and left on a napkin on our table. So gross! We were turned off by our experience here, wont be returning.

Good food. Good service. They took care of our dog out on their patio. This place is dog friendly on the patio. They even took her picture and put it on the wall. We love all the other Leo's locations and this one is no different. Great job guys! Thanks!

Just had at Leopold’s, ordered chicken and the wings and so surprised at the what you get for $17.50. The very tiniest wings you get in the market.

Our waiter seems very impatient and hurried. Had to ask for wipes and she brought 2 pcs. Guess we need to ask for more when done.

Unfortunately not impressed. Pricey but nothing Outstanding.

The food was amazing, servers are always polite. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe and lots of interesting posters and pictures to look at. Also a good selection of beer and other drinks, as well as food options that you don't necessarily see at other similar places

Service was friendly, the beef dip was delicious, and the beer was cold! I had a great time and will definitely return.

Pickel burger was great
Dill pickel batter fish and chips were over fried dried out. If it wasnt take out and at home already would have sent it back.
Mac and cheese was nothing to write home about
Chicken fingers and fries were ok. Dipping sauce made it.
Will not repeat take out

Pretty bitter owner… working on his façade and windows and came out yelling at us…welcome for making your business a little bit more presentable…

Great atmosphere. I like the atmosphere and the service was excellent. The decorations are fun and creative!

Went for lunch and rarely saw our waitress despite being one of 3 groups in the resturaunt. Got all of our food at the same time but one thing and they were all totally different temperatures.

Wow the poutine is pretty amazing! We got takeout from here.i really like the packaging (cardboard box for burgers and re-usable plastic container for poutine).

cheeseburger was nicely done too, bun didn't fall apart and the bacon was very good.not overly expensive.would go back 7/7

Update: poutine is still great. PoTW never fails to disappoint.

Good ambiance tho not having pitchers of beer is a turn off so wouldn’t really recommend. Food was ok not too good.

Great pub with friendly staff and good pub food. Nice place to go for lunch or a cold beverage! Recommended

My boyfriend and I love coming to Leopold's in Bridgwater because the staff is incredible. We have had nothing but EXCEPTIONAL service every time we have gone there. The staff is so friendly and being that I was a server before, I know how demanding the job can be and these guys make it look easy. They have awesome music, the vibe in the pub is always great. Looking forward to seeing you again!

I came here with some friends the other night and was very pleased with the service and drinks! We had asked the bartender to surprise us with a round of shots and were given “Polar Bears” - absolutely amazing! Will definitely return here in the future.

Not a pleasant experience tonight unlike before… staff was not very friendly toward us as they were being to others.our hostess didn’t even bothered to come back and ask for refills we ourself has to ask other waiters for that.when told her about too much salt in poutine and fries with dil pickle burger she didn’t address the problem just replied it’s suppose to be salty.are we going out to eat like first time that we don’t know how much salt it should be in it? Not going back to this location …wings were good though

I love this place, and their "Season 1 Stranger Things basement" vibe they have going on.

The only critique is they need a better craft beer selection.

Great, not so little lounge and bar, the staff are great. And Wednesday wings are really good and only 6$ a pound after 4! The music can get a little loud though, other than that you should check them out!

Beer list on a letter board that you can't read from across room, and server couldn't name them for us. It was just okay.

It was nice the space feels busy with all the stuff on the walls. I ordered the poutine of the week it had too many flavors that clashed a bit and the portion was obnoxiously huge. Service was good and prompt.

So happy I had found out they had a new location in bridgewater. The atmosphere is ao fun! Went to watch the grey cup game and it was fantastic! Wish I remembered the servers name as she was great!
The nachos were so amazing! Will definitely will be back for those nachos

Listen. This is a covid review so things you normally expect won't happen. Leopolds has not failed me at their Osbourne location, and this one did not fail to impress me either. Aside from the small hiccup of my friends poutine curds not melting (curds are finicky if not done a certain way), the time we had was wonderful. My lamb gyro definitely hit the spot, though I wish there had been a menu item featured for fried chicken week available. The whiskey sour was your quick hack, since the actual one does take time and extra ingredients to make. Our waitress was quick and on the ball with service and replacing the poutine with a take-to-make box instead. Top franchise to frequent and enjoy a good evening out with friends and family in Winnipeg. Oh, and they properly check for vaccination, just in case you're wondering.

Great spot close to home! Patio is great during the summer and the atmosphere in the tavern is great:) Great staff, good selection of plant based options on the menu, can opt normal burgers for plant based ones, definitely a bit on the pricey side but it is better quality in comparison to other places! Would recommend coming on their specials nights: Wing Wednesday, Bucket Monday and Tacos & Tequila Tuesdays! Definitely worth trying the donuts dunkers, curly fries, poutines and wings (regular & cauliflower bites)!

Did skip the dishes and felt really short changed because the amount of food I received compared to what I paid.

Favorite local pub. Amazing staff, wings and poutine are amazing (especially the cheeseburger poutine). Can't wait for lockdown to be over so we can come back for more!

Poutine was disappointing because the cheese wasn't melted and was slightly cold how not canadian flavor was on point tho

Such a great little sports pub! Well made cocktails, lots on tap, there wing night is awesome! And probably the best scotch eggs in the city! The staff are friendly and just great! A real treat, you should definitely check it out for yourself.

Nice place and place to casually meet and chat. A lot of TVs and I bet it would also be a very good place to come to watch sport plays. To come for lunch with family. We are vey glad for this restaurant to open in our area. Thank you.

Went there for the first time a few days ago. The servers were friendly and the food wasn't bad. Took a while to get someone over to take our orders.

It would have gotten a higher rating if the music wasn't so stinking loud that you can't even hear yourself think.

Terrible service. You would think that with the latest restrictions on businesses that a dining establishment would try harder to maintain a better quality of service.

Location: Great location, big parking lot, and beautiful spaced out interior compared to the Osborne location.

Food: Leopold’s on Osborne makes my favourite poutine (along with the Poutine King) here in Winnipeg. This location, however, not so much. The fries were barely covered in toppings and their Mac and cheese was dry rather than creamy. Their Juke Burger tasted stale.

Customer service: A few menu items (such as the burger for Le Burger Week) are not available on Skip the Dishes, but when I called, they are available for pick-up. Would it not be safer (in times of Covid) to have these items delivered like their other menu items rather than wait at the entry with other customers to pick-up an order?
