Great stop after a Jets win! Cold beverages and awesome food. Looking forward to our next visit

Best brunch we have had in a long time and our server was great! He went above and beyond.printed us out the Santa Parade Map when he learned we were from out of town.

Enjoyed our food so much we came back for supper and to watch the hockey game. Food was equally as delicious!
Cant wait to try more of the menu next time we are in town!

My gf and I popped in for dinner and drinks before the Jets game and once again afterwards and overall were pretty happy with the experience. The food menu is a little on the smaller side however both our dishes were tasty and portion sizes were generous. Local offers a really cool “Burn your Bill” on Jets home game nights where you get a chance to have your bill taken care of if your table is drawn. If I could make one recommendation, please serve your espresso martinis in a proper martini glass. I really disliked drinking a martini from a water glass.

Service was phenomenal, enjoyed my meal and atmosphere. Nice to see hard working service staff again. Thank you!

Came here with my wife and her parents who were in town visiting. Taylor took care of us and all of us were super impressed with her level of service right off the bat: she brought me 5 different beer tastings to find something I really liked! She learned my wife’s name just by hearing us chat. She recommended great things off the menu. The food here was amazing and so were her recs: each one of us cleaned our plate. Service was truly above and beyond, we will be back for sure.

Came here on a Sunday morning feeling pretty beat up, however our bartender Rylan got us right where we needed to be with delicious food recommendations and even more delicious drinks. 10/10 would come back again. Beautiful human

From the moment I sat down I had quick service from Davis and Colin, they were super knowledgeable on the menu and were able to accommodate my friend who had a gluten free allergy. They were great!

This is my first time all in all not lots of people and restaurant. Service seems slow lots of confusion about everything going on Miss things all I know not a great first impression. Although the people with said they had been before and it was much better that time.

Food is excellent, staff are wonderful, and it's just a fantastic place. The dragon glaze fried chicken is some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. The fish tacos are fresh and delicious, the dirty potatoes are wonderful, and everything else I have eaten there was worth it. Don't go to Earls, walk 3 minutes west and go to Local because both the prices AND the food are way better.

Overly priced when compared to other local restaurants, plus the tip option is out of control, lowest option starting from 18% tip, which obviously many news reports have shown these out of control tips are unacceptable, the owner’s responsibility to pay their staff should not be transferred to customers that much especially during inflation period.

Staff were nice and food is fine!

We came early -1030 2 meet quick before the lunch rush. They were not open but were kind enough to let us sit and drink coffee.

Our hostess was wonderful. Didn't hide the fact that she didn't know exactly what to do but was happy to make it work.

Decent place to stop for a drink, Shawn the bartender I had is a good dude, sorry if I spelt your name wrong. Moustache guy likes to distract the servers, love yourself somewhere else dude your not that awesome for me to appreciate it. Food was ok, drink was cold.

Had a nice evening here on Tuesday. Every staff member we interacted with (dropping of drinks/food, touching base, etc) was incredibly attentive, friendly, and warm. The food was great, and the cocktails were good. Only thing is the food menu is pretty pared down, especially if you don't eat meat.

Hosted a retirement event with about 20 people last night. GM Riley worked with me in advance on a menu and drink options. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend for any group event, as well as obviously lunch, dinner and happy hour!

Awesome service from our server Lena. The food was great also. They accommodated our group of 15 at the last minute. If I could give more stars I would.

Service with Lina was way above and beyond. Made sure we were happy with all choices or would make it right. Excellent. Food was great. Burgers excellent. Beers could have been filled up taller, i.e. A bit too much foam.

If I could give more stars I would! A large group of us needed an alternate venue yesterday when our reservation somewhere else didn’t work out. I called them up and asked if they could accommodate a group of 15-20 in about 15 minutes time, and they were so accommodating. Drinks and food came very quickly, and everything was fantastic. Our server Lena was wonderful, she has such a great personality and you can tell she thrives on interacting with all her customers. This is my second time here since it was the Pint, and I will definitely keep returning. Thanks for a great experience, and especially to Lena, thank you for taking such great care of my niece and soon-to-be nephew (in law)!

I only had a bite of this so it was hard to gauge. It was generally good. We did the mole beef.

The Diablo 4.5 stars
Tasty. Good marriage of flavors with fresh veggies bursting with liquid that it got pretty messy.

Ice cream sandwich 5 stars
My favorite item of the night. They gave us a sample and we ended up ordering a full one.

Spritzing image (zero proof drink) 5 stars
I modified it to have less ginger beer and more guave and found it fantastic. I like a hint of ginger beer but I find it over powers things.

Stopped into the local public eatery for brunch today.

The food:
Avocado and eggs Benedict - loved the hollondaise sauce. The egg was presented beautifully, perched high on top of pico de Gallo and an English muffin that tasted better than most. I liked how they did the hashbrowns as well. It's formed into a pattie, but it had a nice crunch to moisture ratio.
Braised beef and bacon hash - not normally a fan of hash, but enjoyed this a lot. The braised beef was done well.

We also tried the wings which were average. Unless there was a good deal on them, I probably wouldn't re order it. They only came in one flavor.

The service was good. I appreciated the manager coming by to check on our table. I had an issue with my drink, but the server corrected it with no hassle.
Juice with soda was $4. Not on the menu but you can order it.

It is located where the pint used to be. You can park on the street. There looks to be parking lots around where you need to pay.
Keep in mind Garry is a one way street when driving there.
I would like to come back and try more items to get a better sense of their food. Right now their brunch is pretty solid.

Very nice spot, incredibly friendly staff. Pierogies are always a great choice! Excellent beer selection with a number of rotating taps. Definitely will return.

Stopped by for lunch on a rainy Monday. Morgan, our server, was incredible. The onion rings will make you weep with gratitude towards root vegetables, and their non-alcoholic drink menu was great. Will definitely come back!

I ordered Deluxe Burger and it was one of the tastiest Burgers I’ve had! All ingredients were super fresh! The side fries were also amazing!

Had the Thai chicken Sandwich with the Cesar salad. It was very good! I would highly recommend it! Service was excellent too!

I was there for my birthday and our waitress was amazing. She said it was her 4th shift. Food was great, atmosphere was awesome. I will.be back again. Highly recommended

Wow! The food served does not resonate the name. Its a great place for lunch while at work or on a business meeting. Excellent customer service.

You too can check it out, but I had great experience with them.

I Ordered the Local burger and yam fries off of DoorDash, and I cannot stress how tasty and fresh this tasted compared to many other places ️

What an amazing experience! The staff really went above and beyond for us. From the moment we walked through the door Mckenna welcomed us with a warm smile and took care of us like regulars, her and Jaden’s recommendations were spot on! I had never had a Beermosa before and am a fan! The classic burger was next level, the Sous Chef Clint even brought it out to us once it was ready!

I will forever recommend Local to everyone and be back often.

Went there for dinner. Had a very good waitress, was very friendly. Food was delicious and service was great.

The food and drinks are amazing! Their pinche tacos and the Caesar's are delicious! It's a must in Winnipeg. The only negative thing is that the service can be a bit slow, probably because they're understaffed.

Was there on Thursday at lunch and it was packed.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They have several craft beers and an extensive liquor menu. All of our meals were very good. A bright and cheerful atmosphere!

Jay is an amazing bar tender. He talked with us about the details of beer and was super attentive. Come here just for Jay, he's fantastic, the best tender I've had in years.

LOCAL is great. The music is good, the seating is actually really comfortable, compared to a lot of restaurants, and the food is just great all around.

The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make all their customers feel welcomed. Great place for good food and a night out!

Fantastic service. I phoned in and was greeted politely. Me and my daughter (Gluten free) sat inside and had nachos, the server was very pleasant, and the chef brought out the nachos to our table; half the nachos were spicy, the other half was not. Food was fresh, atmosphere was chill, seating was comfortable; experience was memorable.

Amazing vibes, bartenders so friendly and you can tell they really care and enjoy there jobs. Lucas and Ryan were amazing will always come back to see them

I’ve been to Local three times before and I have to say my fourth time was amazing and that was all due to our server Mitchie. She is an exceptional waitress. She consistently made sure that we were having a good time, she’s super funny, and overall, she is an amazing person. She made our night as soon as we sat down. We will be back just for Mitchie!

This place is always 100% on top of serving, food quality, the personalities of everyone that works at the local.

JENNA however is what keeps bringing our work crew back weekly!

Did not like the burgers. Too much extras on them. Difficult to order a plain cheeseburger no frills.

Went for a work party, delicious food, very caring & attentive staff, nice atmosphere! Has basketball hoops and shuffleboard games as well for extra casual fun. Good for special occasions!
