What a rip off. They quoted us $160 to come out for a cleaning. Then when there and actually did the “cleaning” for 20 minutes or so, they demanded payment $300!

We asked them why, they said “well we solved the problem”

I had to hire another person to charge up the unit with Freon, and issue that Lynn’s tech couldn’t identify and hence didn’t earn the fee he demanded.

We suddenly did not have Air Conditioning, and decided with the temperatures in the 30's it was good to get some quotes. We had three quotes, Josh came to us from Lynn's and we were impressed with his valuable information regarding what we needed. He did not oversell us and provided us with information that would provide what we needed for our home. We decided based on the other quotes to book with him at the end of our appointment, he was able to give us a price that was well below the others and were informed that it could be up to a week or more for installation. We realize that it was a busy time with the heat we were experiencing. Hence we were shocked to get a call later that day that if we were home the next day, they could install it then. We were thrilled. The installers Daniel and Justin were absolutely fantastic. Clean work, and clean up of the old unit. It has been a few days since and everything is working very well. We would highly recommend Lynn's.

My go to choice for plumbing and hvac repairs and services. Recently helped me install a new sink, hvac system and fixed my ac unit.

I received Dallas contact from my dad, he mentioned they are very reliable and reasonable company for repairs my dad called Dallas and explained our situation with our A/C and that I was 8 months pregnant when the temperature were 32degrees. He mentioned they are so busy with A/C repairs to my dad but he still accommodated us last minute and arrived in an hour. Approx. 1 hour after arrival he had our A/C back up and running. Dallas mentioned we would notice it cooling down around 10pm that night and he was on point. We truly appreciate the quick service and will continue to get support in future from his company.

UPDATE: Dallas had come by and checked out our washing machine drainage and he also checked our sump pump for no cost. Upon further investigation, our sump pump needs replacing. He gave us a quote for all our needs at no additional cost as well.

Our furnace stopped working, Lynn’s did come out promptly. Was advised our furnace needed a specific part which was not in stock but they could possible get an after market one for maybe $80 more. We agreed. The tech came back and installed the new part within 5 minutes our furnace was working. The additional $80 was added onto the bill. We didn’t see any part invoice so he really could have made up any price he wanted. The tech also mentioned another part will go soon and the furnace has oil and grease all over and advised we get a new furnace and their salesperson would be in touch. The whole situation didn’t sit well so we had a second opinion, turns out the furnace is fine and there is no oil or grease anywhere to be found. My advice to others would be to get other opinions.

I did not go with Lynn's for our AC unit but I have to mention that Josh, I guess he's the sales guy or maybe the owner, his communication was fantastic. I had a lot of questions while shopping for a new AC and Josh was really quick at answering them. He's very professional and know his stuff.

We used Lynn’s to replace 2 furnaces in our Childcare Centre. Dallas and all his workers were fantastic! They were efficient and worked around our schedule which was amazing! The price we were quoted was extremely reasonable and Dallas went above and beyond in making sure that we understood exactly what needed to and what was done. Highly recommend!

I woke up this morning to the sound of falling water from my laundry sink to the basement floor. Hot water leaking from the water line and my husband could not turn the water off as the shutoff valve seized.

It didn’t take very long to decide who to contact for help when our furnace decided to retire in late October. Lynn’s had done work for us in the past and did an outstanding job so we didn’t hesitate to call them to get our furnace replaced. Lynn’s treated us like a valued customer throughout the entire process from Lanae taking our original call, Josh providing us with a same-day competitive non-pressure quote, Dallas and his helper doing the tear down and install, and Steven completing the install. Everybody involved understood the urgency of the situation and therefore, we were confident that they would take complete care of us. Of course, they were extremely busy as it was the time when people are starting up their furnaces for the season but in order to ensure that we would be taken care of, Dallas the owner started the job the very next day. Yes, the owner! Lynn’s was able to provide us with a high end product for a great price and the service was second to none. The whole crew from start to finish were super knowledgeable, friendly, and experts at their jobs. Each went the extra mile to get the job done efficiently and skillfully. In the future, if we need a new product for our home, maintenance, and/or repairs, there is only one company we will need to contact…Lynn’s!

We had Lynns install a new furnace and air conditioner this summer. We obtained quotes from several companies and settled on Lynn's as we wanted to support a local business. The salesman Josh was great to deal with, followed up with us a few days after providing the quote and was available to answer questions in the evening.
The installation team was excellent, very respectful, and did a great job cleaning up after.
When we had concerns subsequently, they were very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend them for furnace and air conditioner sales and installation.

Steven and Daniel came to my house, I couldn’t be more grateful for a more courteous and careful set of workers. They rolled out the red carpet (literally drop sheets). They took care in making sure all the work was square and looking picture perfect. I wouldn’t second guess calling Lynn’s again with such an impression left. We have used Lynn's Heating and cooling in the past and have had a great experience however recently something has changed with them. Last year they repaired my AC unit and this year it stopped working. I called them and left a message and no one called me back. This year I had them install a sump pump. It was not installed properly and water began leaking into the basement. I called for help and the gentlemen I spoke with told me he was with another customer and that it was late and I would probably be fine. I was not satisfied and asked him to come look at the basement and he told me to look at it in the morning and call him. I spent a portion of the night bailing water out of my sump pit. Their ad says 24/7 service but it was clear to me this gentlemen just wanted to go home.

I had another family member who does not live with me request the installation of a sump pump from Lynn's heating and Cooling. It was installed improperly and water leaked into the basement and damaged their hot water tank. I won't be using their service again. They were rude and condescending. They did not apologize for the mistake. They did fix the issue but I had to call them and argue with them to fix the issue. Used to be a fan but they have lost me as a customer.

After a really bad experience with a competitor I turned to Lynn's. Scott was early, clean and professional. He took of his shoes, prepared the area where we has going to work and made sure my carpet didnt get any more dirty then it was (competitor had soiled it).

The jobs was tougher than initially thought, but Scott kept working at it and didn't give up and finally found a solution. I felt the costs was proportionate and I would highly recommend Lynn's Plumbing and Scott in particular. Give others a pass!

We called Lynn's at the end of July 2022 after several months of accumulating water in our basement. We thought it was from excessive dry last year followed by excessive rain this year. The technician Scott was very helpful. He very quickly found the rock that was blocking the drain and we have been dry ever since. Bravo to Scott and everyone at Lynn's. Our first experience with them was great! Unfortunately, the next experience was terrible. We called Lynn’s about coming to fix our a/c on an urgent basis. They said they would be able to come that same evening, which was perfect. However, as the evening continued and no one came, I gave them a call. The office again confirmed someone was coming. However, when the technician phoned me 10 minutes later, he said he couldn’t come after all, but he promised he would come the next day. The next day the office phoned and scheduled us for 5 days later! I expressed my surprise and disappointment with being rescheduled yet again given that we had been told more than twice someone would be able to help us promptly. We had planned accordingly and not sought out repairs from another company. The office staff did not apologize or give any reasonable explanation. I asked to speak to a manager, who she said was unavailable. I asked for a manager to call me back and I haven’t heard anything, even three days later. I understand it’s probably a busy season, but I would expect them to be able to inform clients accurately about the timeline for service. Very disappointed.

I didn't love that my daughter flushed a bunch of Q tips, but Lynn's technician was able to come out the same day I called, and in just a few minutes had that nasty clog cleared up. Very prompt, and friendly! Will definitely use them again when we have plumbing concerns

Its nice to have confidence in a place whos high caliber customer service gets validated by quality workmanship, especially these days. I've never been dissappointed by the team at Lynns and I get the impression that they care about quality. Would recommend.

I called Lynn's HVAC this morning and within 5 minutes, Dallas called me back. He sent me a few tips via text message and his tips worked! Every other company I called simply told me they were booked and offered no suggestions. Dallas on the other end actually helped me AND saved me money. Foremost I am giving this business 5 stars for the impeccable service we had with the installation of the new AC. (Not charged the dispatch charge for this job) A few months later booked Lynn's to do a main sewer clean. Again that went well except for the extra $109.00 dispatch charge? When we questioned Dallas he said it was to cover insurance for the employee and vehicle as well as at times a job is booked and when they get there the customer has changed their mind. We have questioned several other companies about this and they have told us "That is a Rip Off"! Dallas did offer us a $50.00 credit next time we use their service. Really? Would we use this company again - No.

Dallas helped me out in my time of need. My furnace was blowing cold air on a -30 plus night. He helped me troubleshoot the problem to get it started that night, and checked in with me in the morning to make sure my daughter and I were still with heat. Amazing! So appreciate this level of service and care. Thank you!

I called Lynn's for a main sewer that had been plugged. I had a wonderful plumber named Choa come out.he checked my main sewer and had the drain working in an hour. He also humored.me when asking if he could look at some other drains that were draining slow. I asked if he knew any companies' that did heating because my furnace has not worked in over a week. He said well Lynn's also does heating heating repairs I call and they sent Travis the heating servicemen who walk through the cost of parts. I asked what the cost would be if I decided to replace my furnace and my hot water tank would be in the future. Travis said that he would contact the home comfort advise. He fixed my furnace and my heat has been working ever since. What I love about Lynn's is that Travis never tried to sell me a new furnace when the one I had could be fixed. From the pleasant office staff to the technicians I will tell my friends and family that Lynn's is the company for me and them. WELL DONE LYNN'S YOUR TEAM IS GREATLY APPRECIATED THANK YOU!

Dallas installed my central air unit 10-11 years ago at the recommendation of a friend. Since then the Lynn's team has helped me numerous times with drain services, plumbing and most recently a new furnace and hot water tank. This has been a cold winter and my old furnace wouldn't have cut it. New furnace, no problem. I feel like they actually care and that's important to me. Would reccomend them to anyone.

Called Lynn’s Sunday evening after hours, of all the companies in Winnipeg that state “24/7” support they are the only ones who answered and were willing to send someone out right away. After speaking with a plumber on the phone that evening he assured me he could make it out that evening but that my problem was not so sever that if I wanted to save a bit of money he would send someone out first thing Monday morning.
Monday morning at 730am i got a call from the office stating they had dispatched Chao! Chao was super friendly and professional. He was able to quickly and easily clear the tree roots which were clogging our main sewer. He also took time talk about any other questions I had.
This is my first time using Lynn’s, they are noticeably a cut above any other plumbing company I have had experience with in the past, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our hot water tank quit on a Friday night. On Saturday morning the owner (Dallas) responded to my call and we discussed the merits of waiting till Monday for an install. I let Dallas know that my furnace was 40-yrs old and I’d like a quote on replacement. On Sunday Joshua came by for an assessment & quote (Josh is a rockstar…no really, he is!) and he spent time making sure we were informed about our options and comfortable with our decision.
On Monday our new electric hot water tank was expertly installed by master plumber Allan, with support from electrician Chris! Hot water was flowing by mid-afternoon. On Tuesday our new high efficiency furnace was quickly & professionally installed by Steven & Daniel. Everyone showed up on-time, worked quickly & completely cleaned up the worksite. Super happy with the entire experience!

Excellent service once I could get an appointment. Travis provided quick and efficient furnace maintenance, giving us honest professional advice on next steps and urgency of the issues we were having.

Jeremie was able to unclog our drain even though the access point to snake was inaccessible. He was able to explain why the issue may have occurred in the first place and was able to provide a rough estimate of what work we may need done in the future to get plumbing all up to code.

There was minor miscommunication in booking in to get these appointments as I had passed on contact info and never heard back. I had to call to initiate for a third time. I was also surprised when the dispatcher said Travis was coming but someone else showed up! Slight disorganization but very knowledgeable techs.

Poor customer service from Lynn’s. I contracted to have new furnace, ac and HRV. I had issue with HRV after installation and Lynns was non-responsive to service request, and I had to follow up a second time to get a service appointment. I hung around home all morning waiting for Lynn’s. Lynns didn’t show up on time, service person did not have any experience with HRV control, didn’t understand the issue/problem, and gave incorrect information regarding the operation of the unit. Plus, service person was condescending and there was no acknowledgement or follow-up to my complaint as a result of service call. A few weeks have gone by and still no word from Lynn’s on how they will make it right. I get the sense they won’t.
I experienced other problems with regard to invoicing after installation when Lynn’s sent me two or three incorrect invoices.
Sales person was helpful when I was shopping around for company and installation guys for the furnace and HRV were professional. However, the after sales service leaves a whole lot to be desired. Lynn’s doesn’t get back to you when you need assistance. Customer service is important, especially when this is a major purchase for a homeowner.

Water was backing up when doing laundry, had them come out to clear out our main line. Problem persisted, and we were told after that we were not covered under their warranty. Called Drain Doctor and they had us fixed in one afternoon, included video footage of our clear drain, and were also more affordable.

Absolutely pleased with the repair! Travis was a rockstar! Personable, efficient, and good with the dogs! XD

I contacted Lynn’s yesterday evening due to my furnace malfunction. The service technician came in with parts 8am this morning and fixed the problem by replaced convection motor. Dallas is a handsome young man, he has done a great job in very quick, clean and professional way! I strongly recommend Lynn’s!

Initially booked a tune-up and inspection of my furnace with a bigger company that advised me the next opening wasn't until the end of January 2022. I called Lynn's and had a serviceman here within a few days! Much can be said about the smaller companies! And, the technician was so professional and friendly. THIS is how to gain and retain customers!
