Madison Square Liquor Mart

There's always refrap and drunk spending for money on the side of the building. But it is a big location.

This has to be my favourite liquor store, even though it’s over an hour away from home. The selection is always great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that I always end up buying way more than expected because there are so many different products

Usually fully stocked up, customer service is outstanding, most if not all employees are very friendly!

The gentleman who served me was the most nicest man I met. He was kind and very helpful. I was looking for a wine. And he helped me find it. Nice business

Great place to shop however security staff are not friendly they do not say hi zero personality they act like robots

My husband had to turn in his Alberta drivers license to get a Manitoba driver's license and is still waiting for it to come in the mail. Security would not accept his Nexus card (yet they would accept his passport?) If you are trying to prevent theft having an enhanced security card such as Nexus is probably a good customer to welcome.

Everytime my bf goes there, they follow him around and watch him constantly.he's been there so many times and has never stolen.they even stand by the door when he goes to the check out.weird they don't do that to all the other white customers.seems a bit racist to me.don't recommend this location.

Liquor Mart is enforcing mandatory masks, even for people with health reasons for not wearing a mask. (Face shield is allowed, for those who might have a face shield.) This appears to be a Liquor Mart policy, as other stores and provincial policies allow for a health exemption.

Always the brands that I like and if they don't have it they order for you, only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the contest they did for rare whiskeys it wasn't very clear who got the chance to buy them or any info at all

Good selection of alcohols, beers and other spirits but be aware to go earlier on weekends asa lot of stuff is sold out quickly due to a proximity to Polo Park, busy place, huge parking.

Takes forever to get inside, noone in the store but a lineup to show your ID. Can't wait for winter.

Large selection, and convenient location - near Polo Park Shopping Centre. All of the traditional staples are available here, plus a few limited / specialty releases. Good service, helpful staff.

Great to see the implementation of door security checking ID s.and also an additional security officer in the aisle 's of the store.was also helped by two different employees with product selection

Like this location. Anytime i go in here I dont witness thefts like many of the other locations in the city.

Staff are always polite and helpful when I am in.

They take the time to help me find the items I have been sent out to find.

The staff here are very well-versed on all Types of spirits. They have always been friendly and Interactive. They make a liquor store run fun and encourage you to try new things. I've had similar experiences at the Charleswood and Crestview locations. All of them have a great selection and bring in new products frequently.

Some People in parking lot are not the smartest people in this city. I did some there are some polite people who would let the big trucks get in whit there job

Staff are always pleasant and always offer to help me carry out my purchase when it's too much for me to take in one trip:)

This particular liquor Mart is one of the best in the city it has sufficient staff and they have great knowledge of the products that they sell.whenever there's a lineup there's always staff to fill in to make sure all three registers are open. There's always some really nice chitchat coming from the cashiers which is always nice.

Able to track down one of the last cases of my favorite beer today because they have online inventory. When I was there, someone called for 7 cases. Just got lucky!

Large selection at this location as well as many fine spirits and wines they even had a cool sample machine

Very clean store with a good selection of liquor and beer. There is even a new taster station for liquor to allow customers to taste before they buy. Staff were polite and friendly as well.

They have the most advanced security tag I've ever seen. Wishing the staff to be ok and safe due to shoplifters

I've been turned down several times for having friends waiting outside because I refused to make them come in and show ID. This may be the law but it's just a hassle and LC's like this one lose hundreds of thousands of dollars a year due to the way the employees handle "sketchy" situations that are actually harmless. Yes, random pretentious employee, you MAY lose your job, IF you make a dus & piss people off, not if you provide good customer service.

This MLCC location in Madison Square was renovated in 2018 and it looks much better than it did previously. The renovation converted the “classroom” and training area to space with store shelves to showcase new products (i.e, it’s about one third larger now). This location is well-organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’ve asked many questions about beer, wine, hard liquor, etc.and staff appear to be well-trained and offer helpful advice. There is a refrigerated section near the checkout with a number of types of cold beers for easy pick-up.

Awful experience, the waiter didn’t even speak English, spent 5 minutes trying to explain what sparkling water is, at which point I just gave up. Had to ask for the bill 3 times before he understood what I wanted, then the waiter and waitress were standing in the room talking and pointing at people at the table speaking some other language. Absolutely despicable customs service, never coming back, and will make sure my friends and family do not return. There are enough restaurants in town who would appreciate customers, compared to these people.
