Amazing sushi and very friendly staff! Food came in under 20 mins and sushi pizza might actually live up to its name as “Winnipeg’s best sushi pizza”! Highly recommend!

I ordered sushi for lunch through Uber Eats. The delivery was 30 minutes later than stated on the app. I called the store and they promised to hurry up the delivery driver, but that did not help. I was left with no lunch because I had to get back to work by the time the food arrived.

When I tried the sushi, it was underwhelming. The sushi pizza had a very thick layer of rice, and little salmon topping. I regret ordering there, it was not worth the money.

Terrible customer service and had to wait 1.5 hours for 2 rice paddies with some salmon for them to cancel the order. Manager isn't very friendly either.

Magic sushi was my family and I’s go to sushi place in the city for years now. We always loved their food eve after they removed their AYCE - they promised a better quality food. However, it was disappointing how that quality and service has declined. My family and I was there last night and we ordered some salads, soup, tempura, and rolls. The soups took 20 min to arrive, the rolls doesn’t seem as fresh as before, their tempura has lost its quality for the price you paid for, and lastly, the salad took more than an hour to arrive (which is disappointing because their sunomono salad was one of our go to order) - we were expecting the salad to arrive first or together with the rolls and even after following it up, it still took a good amount of time before arriving. The salad was very watery. Overall, the visit last night wasn’t the best and not sure if we’d go back.

I don’t recommend getting delivery service, I am not sure how they decided to pack the order with burnt chicken in a chicken teriyaki roll. This has happened twice with a delivery order. Very disappointed!

Amazing taste that I have not tried yet, I recommend to everyone extremely wonderful sushi, extremely wonderful atmosphere.

The service was not very good and I got food poisoning from the sushi. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Convenient menu, good prices and friendly staff. Sushi is prepared according to the price.

Magic sushi number 2 has changed alot, I understand the no more all you can eat that's not a issue, but they've changed their "panko" to a breading and it just ruins the taste and texture, shrimp tempura is now the size of a string bean with a weird breading on it, wasn't juicy or flavorful, and I guess they changed oils because that's also throwing off the taste and texture of some of the deep fried options. I did however really enjoy the few new dishes I tried. But I'm not sure that it will ever be my go to place any more: (we used to religiously only support magic sushi but the changes have us wanting something better. I hope that one day they will change back to some of the old ingredients

It was soooo good, and the bowl is more food than it looks. Barely finished.
The desserts as you walk in.almost made me forget I was there to have sushi lol
The only issue was that the tuna wasn't sliced very well

The sushi is so authentic. As for the donburi, the appearance is not authentic, but it tastes just as good. The atmosphere is so western

We were very disappointed by our recent take out order with Magic Sushi. When you order from a sushi restaurant you'd assume the sushi would be made fresh. However, after ordering the Top Five 2020 pack and one other roll we are convinced the 2020 pack had been made much earlier in the day and left refrigerated. This was very clear because the one other roll was actually fresh tasting and the rice had a visually different consistency and texture. It was very obvious these rolls were made earlier, and this is not worth $42.99. If we wanted premade refrigerated sushi, we'd go to the grocery store.

Wish they had all you can eat, but everything was extremely good delicious service excellent was not misled in any way

I did not try everything and I forgot the name but the shrimp something blue was really fantastic I go there again

The friendliest staff here, the food was also delicious and had bigger portions than what’d you normally expect for a great price!

Disappointing.
I decided to not order.

With as many reviews and such a high rating, I was actually disappointed.
The good, the restaurant was open late, the staff greeted and acknowledged us upon entry to the restaurant. The staff were easy to distinguish between customers by uniforms and the restaurant was clean.

The not so good, the restaurant was not busy, and they were just not with it. We sat for 10 minutes before being given menus. The cost is not relevant to the quality or quantity of food given. The rolls seems really small/skinny on the filling and sauces were very small amounts on each piece.

Overall just kinda expected better.

Will not be returning.

P. S please update your sign about no longer offering all you can eat. (new to the area) pulled into the parking lot and noticed the "all you can eat" (got excited about sampling all different options) on the sign only to be told by staff that they have not offered all you can eat since covid.

Use to go when it was all you can eat was there once a month now they are not all you can eat and way to pricey! That’s to bad was a good place to eat

No problems with the food but the service was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant.

Portions were good size, prices reasonable, atmosphere seemed nice (although I picked up to-go) but taste was just ok. First time trying this restaurant and the rice seemed dry and a bit hard.

As always deliocus as always tasty and great service, staff is wonderful and very accommodating, we sure will be back.

Was excited for all you can eat Sushi. Was disappointed when it’s not all you can eat anymore. We just left.

The best sushi I ever had. It's was called Crazy chicken or something? But it was sooooo goood

Tried the Sushi poutine. Delicious! Excellent service. Yummy yummy food. I wish I had taken a photo of the poutine! It was only available during poutine week. It should be a regular menu item!

We used to go there for all you can eat before the pandemic, and I’ve been ordering through their app frequently since Covid. However, I am very disappointed with my last 2 orders and won’t be back. My order was supposed to be delivered at 2: 45 pm, 40 minutes later called them to check what was going on, and they said it was still there waiting for the driver. Called again in about 20 minutes, was put on hold and then told the order was still with them, but one of the employees could deliver and offered 30% off. I cancelled my order because had the exact same issue during my previous delivery order.

When you walk in you get to see the sushi masters doing their craft. The man up front is courteous and generous. The prices are fair and portion size is significant

Was disappointed with the tempura and takoyaki we ordered. Not the usual texture and taste that it should. Otherwise, their sushis were ok.

The waitress said they stopped serving all-you-can-eat sushi three years ago, but it's still on the giant sign outside.

I suggest changing posters and advertising because you don't do this service, you can no longer eat everything you can.
