Ma's Drive-in restaurant

The hours are deceiving. We went all the way there after 8 thinking we would still have time to order before 9 o'clock on a Saturday, we got there at around 8: 30 and it was closed and we had to go all the way home with nothing.

Gross!
Burgers were dripping with grease.
Small portions, huge price. $42 for 2 burgers, fries & milkshakes.
We both were sick after eating here.
Used to be a great place. Wonder what happened?
Won't be going back.

Loved the casualness, the park, the outdoor picnic. The food was just what a drive in should be - greasy and delicious.

Nieh. Being a Quebecer, tasting poutine from Ontario and now Manitoba. I don't think we'll ever find an actual good flavored poutine in Canada. The oil was so old that the fries over powered the flavor of anything else in the poutine. My chicken wrap was OK. Lots of cucumbers for added freshness but not enough ranch sauce.

For the price, a bit of a bummer.

Used to be a great go to food place. But now They don’t seem to know a difference between a small and a large ice cream. Very disappointing. Ordered a large and totally didn’t get what I paid for. I don’t see myself going back there again especially after seeing some of these other reviews on here. Hopefully ownership or whoever’s in charge takes notice and improves people’s experiences there. The fries had no salt and the freshly squeezed lemonade was not sweet and tasted like it had petrol or some kind of stuff in it. Had to throw it out. The chicken burger was alright. Would not recommend

Great food. Great service. Wasn't a long wait at all. The hawian burger and chili cheese are amazing. The milkshakes are awesome to. Had the Pina colada and was delicious.

Nice drive in / eat in establishment. Great milkshakes and fries. Great place to stop for a meal or a snack for the road.

We used to love to go to this place but won’t be anymore sadly. Had an issue with our burger this evening that could have been easily rectified or fixed with a simple apology (as it’s all good- people are only human and make mistakes). Instead, the “manager” on duty, (who wasn’t initially even involved) thought she would have an extremely distasteful attitude and slam my burger down after slamming the window.
When I then called to ask to speak to the manager- it was the same girl who had just treated me like garbage and told me she “didn’t have time for this”. Won’t be going back. Also- the fries lack salt and the food has gone way down hill in the past five years to add insult to injury. Don’t waste your time or money.

Loved this little seasonal stop along the road for lunch. Burgers, fries, hotdogs, wraps, slushies, ice cream. Come try them all!

For $12, tip inclusive, I got a flavourful Chigago burger and small home fries. I just wish the patty had been a little thicker and the fries a touch crisper, but I'd still go back!

One star. Because the girl on the phone who took the order was patient. The burger lacks sauce and flavor. Very dry.
Fries were cold, dry and not salted. Chicken fingers are thin, and look as if they were cooked in old oil. Even the milk shake, tastes watery and lacks thickness. Last year we had the exact same issues there. Since it changed hands, it just hasnt been the same.
Also some of the reviews on here are from the staff that work at the location. Just a tad bias.

Sub par burgers, tiny patties, buns taste like they've been frozen. Not the best ice cream, especially for the price. Not a good deal for mediocre food.

Great place to stop in for food on the way home. The Service is great. Definitely recommend this place!
