Matrix have replaced more iPhone screens for me than I’d care to admit, and the work is always great.
I was just in to get my 6S’s back reattached after a drop, and she had it done in under ten minutes, and wouldn’t charge me. Fantastic.

Very knowledgeable / professional and affordable. I went to 2 other cell phone repair shops, both told me my I-phone can’t be fixed (problem with the board). Brought it to Matrix mobile and was fixed in a couple days! No need to buy another $1500 i-phone. I will be bringing all my electronics to Matrix!

IPad4 mini died after warranty and MatrixMobile was able to fix it.
Took some time to get the parts in because it was a unique repair, but it was worth the wait. Everything works perfectly.

I took my iPad in for a new charging port. I asked about the turnaround time and Karen told me 24 hours. It was 24 hours when I got the call to pick up my iPad.
I found Karen to be very professional and courteous. I would recommend Matrix to anyone that has a problem with an Apple product. Good people.

Karen did some magic on my phone it was in bad shape but she brought it back to life. This was the second time she helped me out and was so very accommodating given we have the same work hours and also gave me a fair price considering it would of cost me a fortune to get it fixed elsewhere. She definitely is a phone saver.

This is my second time using their services. The first time was for my iPhone SE (which in the end was not able to be fixed) but she spent a good amount of time diagnosing the problem and then explaining to me my options.which were to replace 2 things for a couple hundred dollars but that there was still a good chance it still might not work. It was so nice to deal with someone who really making an extra Effort to help you out without trying to rip you off.
This time when my iPhone X died it was a no brainer to come back. This time I had my phone back working perfect within about 3 hours.
In a time when most of us have our whole lives on our phone and your sick to your stomach you’ve lost everything and like me you didn’t have your phone backed up, Its nice to know there is someone you can TRUST to help you out.

I needed my screen replaced on my LG G6, no other issues but a crack on the screen. The day I took it home my phone literally got so hot that it burnt my skin while I was sleeping, I still have the scars (this happened in January).

When I took it back they refused they had anything to do with it, even though it wasn't a problem for the weeks before it got in their hands.

It took them TWO MONTHS of back and forth saying they are fixing some other piece or have another solution, or are sending it to a professional in Toronto. They eventually got me a used replacement, with no warranty on it and no receipt provided. When I said I wanted a refund, they offered me a discount on a phone case and I had to literally mention talking to my lawyer before they would refund the cost of the repair. Then it took two weeks for the money to come in, and they only gave me 2/3 of the cost, not mentioning the rest of the cost. EDIT: after posting this review I was contacted within an hour and offered the remainder of what was owed to me.

During this whole time it was constantly "it will be ready in a few days", for literally 2 months.

I cannot recommend to stay away from this place more. I assume most of the positive reviews are fake considering most of the times we were in there, someone else was complaining to the employees

The owners is so rude. DONT GO HERE! I was getting glass repaired at their st vital location and the phone now is booting up randomly! I went there and owner said this was an apple issue they can’t fix. Charged me 200 to break my phone! You will be shooting yourself in the foot going here

Wonderful experience.worked on my daughters abused tablet and made sure everything was as good as new. Great value, professional work, and took on this project when competitors flat out refused. If I ever require another repair on any device. Matrix Mobile will be my first and only stop.

I had a Samsung tablet repaired. They replaced the battery and charging port. And also replaced the glass screen on my IPhone 6plus.
Plus I also bought a new Samsung charging cord and charger. Very good value.

Phenomenal service! They saved my MacBook Air that had already started to be corroded by water damage. It was given back in under a week restored, at 1/3 the cost of what I was expecting to pay. The staff is genuinely delightful to deal with and were very reassuring during a stressful time. Would definitely suggest to a friend!

I called this store because my phone had dropped on the floor and there was black lines on it it’s an iPhone 8 plus. I was panicking although it did have a case on it and a screen protector it still did something wonky and I couldn’t even use all my icons. I thought this would take a long time to fix and cost me a lot of money. I called matrix mobile explain the situation to the technician, Karen. She said oh I’ve seen this hundreds of times and I can fix it quite easily and quickly. I was able to bring in my phone the next day, it literally took her less than 30 minutes to fix at a very reasonable price. She was very professional and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who’s got any issues with their phone. They were great

My phone screen was replaced as requested, for a cheaper price then I was quoted elsewhere. The lady I dealt with was kind.

I dropped off my phone on a Friday and didn't get it back until the next Friday (7 days). She explained the reasons for delay and was apologetic, I understand some things are uncontrollable like shipping delays and/or equipment needing repairs. It kind of sucked waiting that long but sometimes patience pays off.

At the time, they did not have a loaner phone available for me to use during the week my phone was being repaired. Although I did have a delay in receiving my phone, I would still recommend Matrix Mobile to anyone that is looking for repairs.

The staff are very competent and honest, and provide timely service at a very fair price. I have gone to them twice now for repairs to my LG5 phone. They fixed my camera and replaced a battery and the phone looks and works perfectly. Thank you Matrix Mobile!

Best place ever! Emergency repair after I tried to replace my iPhone battery myself. Cracked the glass and was in panic mode. They took us in immediately and I had it fixed in a couple of hours. Very, very much appreciated. Fast service and an excellent price. Thank you.

I was a bit worried about taking my phone in to be fixed instead of getting a new one, but my phone isn't very old to begin with so I figured I'd give it a shot. They were able to fix my phone and I had it back a couple of hours later. Would recommend.

Matrix on St. Mary’s gave me the best service ever. I’m really impressed by their knowledge and prompt service! My story began with an iPad that no longer would take a charge. I dutifully took it into the Polo Park Apple store where I was told the charging port was shot and that they couldn’t replace it because of. (read.mumbo-jumbo tech talk I couldn’t understand). The options for trade in or an upgrade to a new iPad was laid out before me. I said I needed to think about it. Discouraged for sure and more than bummed out that a money making outfit like Apple told me they couldn’t open up my iPad. Really? Thankfully a family member directed to to Matrix. I dropped off one day and picked up my iPad the next day. Fixed and ready to go. I’m a happy camper and so happy to have found matrix as a reliable electronics service center.

Fixed my front screen quickly but during the repair process the worker dropped my phone and cracked the back glass. I was told she would call me when the part came in and get the back glass repaired for free. She also didnt put the glass on like factory new because it would make it more difficult to replace the back glass. Its been 2 weeks now and still havent heard anything back.

Giving one star is too much for this business. My ipad has been in that store for like 30 days now with Nan chip problem. This is what their diagnosis was. And I didn't even know whether they actually ran a test on it or not since they charged me 50CAD for that. Then this business has made promises one after another, then they broke their promises one time after another on either when the component would arrive or when they would fix it. In the end, they returned the ipad that is not fixed at all. And yet they are acting like that there is no big deal here. Not even an apology. I got upset, then they accused me of being abusive. Instead, this business is abusing my time, my patience and money. And I'm supposed to say 'Thank you. Appreciate it! '? Is that logic and reasonable? The child's play, not the business operation here. Not recommended at all.

Reply: I have every right to fix it anywhere I like. I found someone before you. That is not something you should complain about. What you should do is to fix it. That is what your business is about. But you can't until now. That is what I see. Those promises are what your business has made. I'm not making up stories here. Your business never called back to explain anything even if you kept on saying so. Almost all the calls are outgoing from my side. When I called, I was given these dealines. That is all. So whatever, I'm moving on.

Beware! These guys are extremely shady! They fake good reviews, reply that you were never a customer if you give bad review, "fix" unnecessary (good working parts) on your phone, take parts from your phone and swap with bad part. Check BBB reports, these guys have so many complaints against them. You've been warned. So many lies! Company is run by a spoiled kid with limited educational background and more than half the staff received electronic repair training using youtube instead of getting EE diploma from red river college. Why would you trust these guys?

Hands down the best repair shop in the city! I had a water damaged phone I took in after a few months thinking I might get my pictures. A very friendly technician got ALL my data off my phone and not just the pictures. I am very grateful and am very pleased with the outstanding service!

5/5! Expert tech got my iphone working when I was told by Apple it was done. I"ll be sure to recommend any cell repairs to this place.

Booked online for a ipad screen repair. Texted me to push appointment back half hour. Friendly staff. Got screen repaired later that day. Looks great. Added a screen protector. Reasonably priced

Quick and reasonably priced. I got my phone repaired which couldn't be fixed anywhere else, and then I luckily found this place. Same day service plus a discounted rate on my case. I was happy.

Very difficult to communicate with the owner. Left my phone in his care when I couldn't figure it out myself. Unbeknownst to me he passed it off to a sub-contractor and was unable to return it in a timely fashion when I wanted to change repair facilities. In the future, I will be dealing with someone that has a few more years of business experience and understands the importance of communication with their customers when repairing phones and other devices going forward.

They were not able to make a warranty repair on something they had already fixed and offered a refund via e-transfer. After several phone calls over at least 6 months no refund was given.

Rude customer service excuse me I, have not once asked insisted that you fix my phone, I just has a question about a warranty repair and I haven't even known my phone for a year yet so thanks for lying on your post about me having it for 2 and half years

Worst service ever. Super friendly but don't bring Motorola phones. Week later and phone still not working and all it is is phone tag and people who don't know their own schedule. I'll be trying to go to the st James location after work and hopefully they can fix it.
Checking into this further I take it back. Kyle had someone else assigned to the phone so it wasn't his fault anyway. He called promptly to fix the problem.

Fantastic company to get your phone repaired at. Professional service, fast, and the quality of parts is absolutely superb!

Best in town! Customer service is unmatched! I rarely write reviews, but this was merited! I’ve had to use Matrix’s services a few times and have never been disappointed! Their team is knowledgeable; the prices are reasonable; and they guarantee their work and products, leaving you feeling confident you paid a fair price for exceptional services. Repair work is also completed in a reasonable time frame. They have been patient with me as I asked questions and will often inform me in-depth on the best options and solutions. I recommend Matrix Mobile for any electronic questions, repairs, services, purchases!

Amazing place! My phone was one of the worst they have ever seen (look at the picture). They fixed it perfectly back to it's original condition (in 2 days!) They were able to give the cheapest price compared to other companies I called around Winnipeg. My phone was a Samsung Galaxy S9+.

Before reading this review, you should know despite the large number of positive reviews matrix mobile has recieved, if you look at all the negative reviews they seem to say the same things. I dropped off a laptop to have a touch screen and water damage replaced in August. The screen cost $250 and the water damage was $110. It took forever to get the laptop back and there was at least 5 instances when i was told it would be ready later that day or the next day. When I got the laptop back (in November) the water damage had not been fixed. The laptop had not even been opened. I opened it and could see the harddrive was covered in alkaline so obviously the laptop had not been opened. This was blamed on a technician who was apparently not the technician they normally used. Looking at the boot log I could also see that the technician had tried to access the computer itself, multiple times and knew about the issues before he returned the laptop. They also lost my power cord. I bought a new harddrive and asked them to replace the old one at no charge. Which they agreed too. They also said they would attempt to recover whatever could be recovered from the damaged harddrive.

Then they found my power cord (i had already bought a replacement, which they said they would reimburse me for) and told me the laptop was fixed but having issues installing drivers and would be ready "tomorrow". And then on Monday. So Dec 6th I think it was? The laptop was finally delivered to my house, after being told for two days straight it would be ready for me to pick up "in a couple hours".

I was not reimbursed for the power cord they told me they had lost and eventually found (I phoned in multiple times telling them I was sure I dropped it off with the laptop and every time they were extremely adamant about my being wrong), there was no attempt made to recover anything off the damaged harddrive, and I did not get the damaged hard drive back.

The owner is very personable and has great people skills but the service his store provides should be avoided.

These are yes men who tell you what you want to hear, then fail to follow through.

Also I spent over a week waiting for the laptop to be delivered from the supposed st James location to the st Mary's location. Each time I asked I was told it would be there that day. I was lied to every single time.
