McDonald's

I had a coupon 2 for breakfast for 9 bucks. I went to drive thru. I had great friendly service, both 1st and 2nd window. Good, fresh food and great coffee! Ty for starting out my day great! 5/5

What can I say? It's McDonald's. However, they were very few cars in the parking lot and only one car ahead of me in the drive-thru. I ordered one thing, and still had to pull over waiting in front for 5 minutes for my order. Other than that, McDonald's is McDonald's.

On my last visit spilled mess on the floor within the playroom was not cleaned up till after 40 minutes. I politely asked one staff member, 20 minutes later asked a second staff member, then another 20 minutes later ask for the manager. It was only then that somebody came to clean it up.

Typical menu, but the service was very slow. There was an emphasis on the drive thru which slowed down the service for customers eating inside.

McDonalds on Main St in Selkirk is the worst of the worst for service. I know that all McDonalds are ridiculous and almost never get the order right but Selkirk is by far the worst I have. Ever encountered. Always super slow. Sat at the drive through screen for at least 2 minutes before I finally honked to get their attention. Another almost 5 minutes behind a truck waiting at the window who also had to honk to get their attention. Another almost 2 minutes at the window waiting until they asked me to go park to wait for a hash brown but I refused. All the while 3 employees one looking like a manager standing inside window talking and laughing and never acknowledged one customer. Other vehicles behind me you could hear some swears and a couple more honks. This is a common issue at this location. I’ve had my limit of it and will never return. My money will go to a competitor!

Very very slow, 45 minutes in line for order, then it was wrong. Apparently this is acceptable, as this happens every night! Beyond brutal.

Food was good but the customer service is terrible, they mess up your order everytime you go through the drive thru and then they give you attitude about it when it is their jobs and what they get paid for, but when they do get your order right and depending on who is working at the time sometimes they are rude and disrespectful and sometimes they are amazing and fix it right away and even give you a discount on your meal or a whole extra order at no cost! So basically it's a hit and miss but it's fast food and when the fries are actually hot you can't beat a big mac and fries or a 10 piece nugget meal with fries!

Typically McDonald's menu. Decided to go in and eat this time. The restaurant seemed a bit unkempt not sure if it was short staffed. But the floor was sticky and had napkins on the floor.
While I was waiting for my food, there was a lot of yelling coming from the kitchen, not uncommon I suppose but I couldn't help but notice after a few seconds it wasn't areas communicating. It was a manager type employee yelling at a station worker. The poor young lady was almost in tears, she was being called stupid, slow, and was just belittled in front of the rest of the staff. Even customers could hear, and you could see the shock on their face. I wanted to take guy and smack them up side the head, and ask him how it felt to be bullied. After my food was ready I mentioned to who I thought was a senior employee how I felt. They said it happens all the time!

It's really too bad that this place has senior employees who treat their staff like that, considering half the staff are young men and women which this might be there first job.

The experience was perfect. I went there with my children before dance class and they did everything right. The cashier came up to my children with coloring books after we ordered and sat down. The manager came up to me and said he liked my shirt (it had Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and bowser on it) and they had the look of loving their jobs and happy to be there. 10 stars for everything

The dining room wasn't clean. The staff was constantly at the fountain machine getting drinks. At one point a customer had to wait because the McDonald's employee was drinking infront of the fountain machine

Completely got our order wrong. We asked for two smartie mcflurries and that gave us two Oreo…. And one with smarties added in. We NEVER mentioned Oreo during our order. Frustrating service

We had a hockey tournament in St Andrews community club so we went to Selkirk for lunch. The kids picked McDonald's and I am usually not impressed with the staff at alot of fast food establishments. The two women working the front counter were absolutely wonderful. I was able to read one name tag "Faith". Faith was at the til and she was very nice and fast. Nothing on our order was missed and she even came to wipe our table. When we left she told us to have a nice day! A pleasant experience around a busy time of day for them!

Bad! Had to wait for order then wait longer when they didn't bring out second order then had to go back in to get happy meal that they didn't bring out! Waited at least 25 mins from when we first ordered!

Amazing lady working the drive thru on Sunday June 27th 2021 around 5 pm, i ordered my two meals and after I paid I went to the pick up window and wanted to add a small smoothie for my 5 yr old daughter they gave me the smoothie for free which shocked me bcuz in this day and age nothing is free especially from a big business such as McDonald's, I offered 5 bucks to the charity and they would not let me pay anything for it at all that little act of kindness made a huge impact in my heart and the eyes of my daughters, maybe I just got lucky but I feel the story needs to be heard

First time back to this location since November (bad experience). They got my order wrong again. I ordered a Grand Big Mac and got a regular Big Mac with only meat and cheese. Fries were OK.

More than 3 times that they forgot to put straws on my drive thru order (its a bit hard to drink without straw specially when we are going on a roadtrip) and one time they forgot to put patty on my burger. But most of the time my orders are good. McDonald’s Fries is still the best.

Very accomodating staff. Long line at drive thru so i went inside. No lines at all. So i ordered for 8 persons and the casheir staff help me with all my orders. Thank you so much. Keep it up!

This restaurant is a joke. Every time I go through the drive through told to park out front and they will bring it out. Watch as multiple people get their orders after I've been told to park. By the time I finally get the food it's cold and trying to talk to the manager is pointless as they just don't seem to care. Honestly save your time and money and just go to the location in the Walmart.

Order was inaccurate, waited almost 15mins for 2 mcdoubles. Ordered no pickles and they had pickles. They also had 9 cars parked waiting for food and there is only 4 stalls so the whole parking lot was a clusterf**k of people trying to park waiting for food causing a jam out onto main street and potentially almost causing an accident. The are in desperate need of proper management. Ive lived in selkirk almost 10 years and 9 out of 10 times i go to this location, there is always something wrong, either inaccurate order, crazy long drive thru waits (i once waited 35 mins for a large coke.), being parked to wait for food when im the only car in the drivethru. Its never smooth, if winnipeg locations can do it, selkirk should be able to as well. Get your s**t together.

I don't know why but the food does taste better at this location than others, but be prepared for the worst managed drive thru for flow possibly in the province.

Terrible seems I get something missing or wrong every time I order but staff seems friendly and they always make right on the mistakes made probably the only reason I don't stop going there

Waited close to 20 minutes for a McDouble and fries when I was the only one in the lobby. Staff seems to go at their own pace most of the time and have poor order priority.

I ordered the Big mac from drive though just after the midnight (Aug 9) and when I opened it after going back to work, I was surprised to see that there are no patties in the sandwich and there was only lettuce and sauces along with a few more veggies. I just had a short break from work so I could not go back to get something else and I had to stay hungry.

Very good covid protection in the drive thru.
Food was prepared on ordering and was only a short wait, very fresh for a Ronnie's.

Used the drive-thru to find 6 cars already in the waiting for food spots. I had to park in the pickup app spot. Service is insanely slow.

Always out of something.
Went for breakfast sandwiches- out of eggs.
Snack wraps- out of chicken.
What took the cake though was going for Big Macs. OUT OF CHEESE! Same price for the burger though!
Definitely will not bother returning.

Terrible service as usual.took over 10 minutes for our food and the food was terrible. We only received 18 nuggets when we ordered 20 and the fires were quite old and extremely cold. I called the restaurant and requested an order replacement and was immediately yelled at by the manager. He stated "we are not helping you" "just submit the feedback if you have an issue" They restaurant did absolutely nothing. I then reached out to McDonald's head office and submitted a complaint. I received a call back from an operations consultant and explained my issue. All I asked for was a call from the manager, apologizing for yelling and not helping.this was immediately denied. The Operations consultants response was "well why do you go to a restaurant that continues to mess up you order? " As a customer I am doing my job, is it too much to ask for, that my order is made right? All in all, this restaurant is absolutely terrible! We used to get food a few times a week, we were down to maybe 2 times per month.and they still screw it up. It is completely obviously that there is a sever attitude problem within McDonald's, which is amplified due to extremely poor management. McDonald's has now completely lost our business. I highly recommend that others go else where, cause McDonald's doesn't care about customer service anymore. As a former store manager in both the customer service industry and the fast food industy.i can't believe how pathetic this company has become. Shame on you and your company.

Worst McDonald’s in Manitoba. They screw up my order literally every time I come here. On the other hand, this leads to lots of free food because they always replace my order.

It was my niece's birthday party this past Saturday. We had gone into the McDonald's a week prior when we were booking the play room for this event. The manager on duty told us that we would have the tables in the play room reserved.
Everything sounded perfect.
BUT when the day rolled around there was no reservation on any of the tables, & it seemed that they had forgotten we were coming with 10 kids + adults. The M. O. D said it was too hard to reserve tables & we cant have the play room either. He also tried not giving us the discount on happy meals (as it is apart of hosting a party with McDonald's)
In all; my recommendation is have your McDonald's birthday parties in the city, NOT in Selkirk.

Staff are always nice and I've never had an issue there. I only ever get tea or coffee, but I ask for honey in my tea and some staff put it in and some hand you a packet of honey, I dont wanna put my honey in that's why I went there! It's not the biggest deal but if you go there and enjoy honey in your hot beverage be sure to ask for the honey to be mixed in the drink!

Food was typical McDonald's. Not much changes there. Two things tho. 1st.after I self ordered it didn't give me a copy and it was hard to get someone's attention untill I called out for it. 2nd.the restaurant is poorly designed. When you are in one part of the restaurant getting your drinks you need to cross the line at the cash register and ask people to move to get to the other side of the restaurant.

Probably the worst McDonald’s ive been to in winnipeg/Manitoba. Expectations are already low! But i waited 10 minutes for 3 hamburgers with extra pickles and onions and they must’ve spent that time putting on the condiments and taking them off, because i had practically none by conventional standards. Is mitch hedberg in there serving spaghetti and blankets from the grave? Id be more mad if there wasn’t an abundance of pokes tops in range from the parking lot that helped pass the time.

The staff and management are very immature. I waited 20 mins for a coffee! When there is a major rush you see half the staff smoking behind the fence area. Window staff pay more attention to their phones then anything. I love McDonald's coffees but I often do not stop in town bc the quality of service is the worst!

Slowest McDonalds in the whole province.maybe the whole country. It is consistently slow. It's been like this for over two years. You would think managment would get a grip on things.

Ordered poutine they put 3 small spoons of gravy on my poutine, what a joke and ripoff. Other McDonalds I have ever ordered poutine have a pump which they give you 3 or 4 pumps of gravy. Will not patronize this restaurant again when I am in Selkirk.

We come here often from work. But it has to be the worst McDonald’s we have ever dealt with.
Between 11pm and 12 their debit and credit is down for “maintenance” every day. They don’t serve ice cream or hot beverages like hot chocolate after midnight. We’ve ordered hot chocolate a few times and it’s warm milk? They’re supposed to serve food until 5 am then switch to breakfast but sometimes they don’t have certain options (then cook it?) and sometimes if they’re short staffed they don’t bother serving. It’s literally so inconsistent and ridiculous. However the only McDonald’s around so we can’t not try.

Almost everytime I go through the drive thru my order is wrong last night mine, the guy infront of me and the guy infront of him all got the wrong orders. I guess you can't expect much from a place in Selkirk.

It is a 24 hour restaurant maybe that's the reason for the painfully slow drive thru or the old food that must have been sitting in the warming tray since God knows when. I asked if the decaf was fresh when I placed my order. She said "No, but she would make fresh but I would have to wait". No problem. Turned corner to see a line up. Again I thought, not a big deal. By the time I get there I won't have to wait for the coffee. No one came to the pay window for the five or so minutes I was wanting there. Perhaps this window is closed I thought. Line moves ahead, finally I'm at the pick up window only to let her know that no one came to the previous window so I still have to pay. Another few minutes waiting till she takes my cash and returns with the change. I'm still not upset. Now the long wait for the order, she bags the food, then goes to pour the coffee. I can see the decaf carafe from the window and that a fresh pot was not made. She pours from the first to get a dribble, then tops it with a pot from behind. When she opened the window the final time to give me my order she hands me the coffee, and food bag. I say. That decaf is not fresh, you can keep it. She apologizes, I say it's ok and move on. I stop nearby to eat the fish and chips and to add insult to injury the fish is as hard and cold as a puck as are the chips. Yuk. So much for a late night indulgence.

Check your food bag to make sure all what you ordered, is actually in there. Other than that, it's a run of the mill McDonald's. You go there for a taste that is familiar to all other locations.

I ordered a xl coffee with 3 sugar, 2 cream.there was cream in my coffee but no sugar. Also I dont think they understand what "no pickles" means. Didnt think it was that hard to get orders right but judging by the amount of times they get it wrong it must be pretty hard for there staff.or there lazy

I waited in the drive thru along with 3 other cars for five minutes waiting for someone on the intercom. The line beside us was moving very fast. We called for a person in the intercom but no answer. Then we we got to order the lady was very snappy.

Horrible the late night drive thru was backed out to the road and it took over 20 min just to place our order, and then we found out they only had 2 ppl working in the kitchen which I find pathetic and rediculous considering it's a Friday night.

Currently prisoners of the drive though line because the debit machine is apperantly broken tonight, although the car infront of us just paid by debit. Its been 40 minutes. They should have put a sign up:/
