McLeod House Tea Room, Restaurant, Boutique

This is the most adorable place. Had such a nice date with my husband.first time experiencing "High Tea", we loved it and will definitely be coming back. They even have a private room upstairs that seats 8 guests decorated with beautiful decor.and a shopping experience with the cutest gift options.

Went there with my girlfriend for lunch had chicken Parmesan, and a baked potato. The baked potato was cold. I asked them for them to heat it up and 15 minutes later they came back with another baked potato and it still was cold. I asked them to put it in the microwave They said they did not have a microwave and the server had an attitude. I will never go in here again.

Went for high tea with my best friend for our friendaversary. Super Cute place with a great esthetic. I felt like I was a little kid having a tea party in a doll house. Absolutely loved it! With so many tea options and delicious dainties my tummy was more than satisfied. Definitely worth the drive from winnipeg for the cottage atmosphere

While the scones were tasty with lemon and jam and the eggs Benedict were passable they ran out of fruit (?) and I feel that it was not worth $30.
I felt that if it was an “all you can eat brunch served à la carte” then the waitresses should have been approaching the customers asking if they needed anything replaced rather than the customer having to ask.

Went for high tea Mothers Day. We have been going here for approx. 13 yrs and have had many experiences here. In fact, it has been such a special place for us we had my
Mother in Laws memorial yea party here. Today it was sub par and not as I’ll call polished as it has been. It seems that since the new owner took over it has changed and not in a good way. The food was not as delicious and our sandwich breads were dry. The scones use to be so amazing but a huge disappointment now. Seems the recipe has been changed in some at. We won’t be back. Not paying $30 per person to be dissatisfied again. The most disappointing $100 I’ve spent!

The gift shop has also declined based on past years. It is also over priced.

Sadly we did not have the Mother’s Day experience we were all hoping for. We booked in for a group and we were all separated and they wouldn’t accommodate our tables so we could all sit in two tables together. Even when the large group left they didn’t offer it to us to have so we could at least some of us could eat together. If they knew that maybe that could should have been disclosed beforehand. A lot of servers were going through the aisle and it was quite disruptive while we tried to visit. They ran out of certain dishes. I also found there to be a bit of racial tension or a dislike for kids (not sure which it was) which is when I completely lost my respect for this place.

Obviously we weren’t the only family disappointed today, you should really check your personality and reevaluate. You should be apologizing for your customer service as it was so terrible.

Unfortunately, had a subpar experience here for Mother’s Day brunch. Had a large group, wait staff didn’t seem to have a good grasp of what was included in the brunch. Specific wait staff were rude and condescending to adults and children alike. Unsure if they were tired or just don’t enjoy their job. Our group booking was booked over a month ago and they still couldn’t seat us together. They ran out of food during our brunch and many of the food items were hard/ crusted.
Children were reprimanded in the backyard for being children. I understand to not have kids playing in gardens but there is a kind/ business owner/ professional way of asking a child not to do something. (Note: no gardens or items were affected) There was a very short fuse on one of the staff. She is the reason my family wouldn’t ever consider this place again for any meal or function.

I don’t usually leave reviews for poor food or quality of food, because that could have a tonne of variable factors. I do however, leave reviews for the way the wait staff act especially towards my children.

This place had the most horrible costumer service ever. My family and I went for mother’s day brunch with a few small children and they were so incredibly rude. Had way higher expectations.

Wonderfull place! Best cheesecake that I ever eat. People are so kind there and the place is beautifull. It's definitely a nice place to see

I really enjoyed our dinner there this past weekend. The portions were big and delicious. The house is so cute, and set up with a gift shop upstairs.

I took my daughter here to celebrate her birthday. We had high tea at 2 p.m. Candace decorated our table before we arrived. She made us feel so welcome. It was pure joy to have this experience. There was more than enough food and I had to get a to go box to enjoy the dainties later. There are lots of choices for tea and it's served loose leaf.

After we finished our tea we went upstairs and thoroughly enjoyed perusing the boutique.

My husband and I just had the loveliest dinner! The food was superb and our waitress Candice was so friendly and gave us amazing service! This is definitely a date night kind of place! If you haven't already tried McLeod House for supper, you really need to put it on your list!
