The staff are amazing my dog loves everyone in the clinic. After 15 years, I've never once been unhappy with the care my animals have had here.

I had to change vet due to staff not speaking to me properly.from I arrived at McLeod I was met with kindness support and genuine pet love. When we went into the exam room the first thing the Dr did was to introduce himself literally amazing experience I will absolutely bring my fur babies there forever

I love this vet hospital - the staff are absolutely amazing and my furbaby loves them too! They take incredible care of my furbabies. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, professional, and really knows how to connect with the furbabies. Top notch care for your furbaby. Both of our little ones love the staff here.

Doctor Kelsey was absolutely amazing. Very kind and put my mind at ease after my French bulldog had been in pain. I was visiting Winnipeg and it was refreshing to find a vet that seems like they care. Not a money grab either.

We recently had to help our Ozzy cross the rainbow Bridge. Our family just wants to thank the staff for all the care and compassion that they showed us at this difficult time.

Friendly staff who take care with my cat. They treat my cat wonderfully, have very good protocols to ensure the wait room is safe for arrival, and have impeccably clean facilities. Peaches and I are big fans!

I am so happy we found McLeod Veterinary Hospital. We decided to try this vet due to it being close to home and we are so happy we did! The staff are always so friendly and helpful and you can tell they all care so much about your pets. My cat had dental surgery here and the staff and Veterinarian did a wonderful job helping me understand the procedure, cost, and risks and provided me with various options. The Veterinarian who performed the surgery was so kind and you can tell she is very knowledgeable and experienced. My cat had almost all of her teeth removed but has made a full recovery and is so much happier. Thank you McLeod Vet!:)

I have been bringing my girl here for about 4 years now.
Dr. K is the best. The staff is polite and accommodating in a case of emergency (not really an emergency, just an over worried mom). But they empathize and try to get me in as soon as possible.

Recently had to say good bye to our sweet little guy. The staff at McLeod were compassionate and very professional in our need.

Absolutely awful. We had gone to this vet since I was a young teen and they used to be good but have since gone down hill. I no longer live in Winnipeg so thankfully I no longer have to deal with the notoriously incompetent vets of Winnipeg.

My dog Audrey was treated at this clinic before her passing and even had a regular prescription from them during Covid time. And guess what?
Rather heartbreakingly, I lost my best friend Audrey last year. But this past month I finally felt ready to adopt another rescue and put down this clinic as one of the vets Audrey went to (during this application process the rescue organization i was going through will contact vets youve gone to in the past). And you will not believe it, they claim to have never treated Audrey? ! How is that possible when they gave her regular prescriptions?
With that said, it really reflects the amount of care and consideration they have for your fur babies.
They are unorganized and careless.

Special thank you to Dr. Jason Kellsey who took extra time and care/treats/cuddles with my elder, scared mini dachshund! I have been taking all of my 5 pups to McLeod Clinic over the years and all of their staff has always been super compassionate and gentle with my furbabies. You trully feel that they care and they understand that your furbaby is more to you than just a pet. I've had nothing but great experience at this clinic and highly recommend their services.

The staff here are wonderful. They are always patient and willing to discuss your situation to make sure you're getting the best advice and food for your pet. I've even had the vet come out to talk to me and help figure some things out. The people here are always friendly and helpful.

Very friendly vets who aren’t trying to push extra stuff on you. They make helpful suggestions and when you decline something there is no argument or sales pitch so it feels genuine and honest in the type of care my vet recommends.

They also practice prevention care which is a really nice thing to see as my last vet never did. So they will tell you basically how to avoid coming into the vet for more bills and procedures.

It’s pretty quick in and out and I always felt listened too and given plenty of time to ask questions and feel respected here.

If you are a new pet owner or looking for a new vet this is a great option.

We have been talking our fur babies here for several years. They are extremely helpful and very patient. We have a bull terrier that gets aggressive in the puppy doctor office so he needs to be sedated. Dr K takes his time until I know Ras is ready. Our cat Izzy needed to be cleaned out 2 times now due to constipation, I did take her animal hosp on main which was the biggest mistake. He wanted to put my cat down but didnt tell me i found out from the vet tech with the estimate papers! Which put me into a spiral of emotions and tears. I knew what my cat needed and he was not listening to me just kept saying she will suffer. I paid that vet over $400 for him to slap a fentanyl patch on her tail and give her a tiny bit of fluids. I got my Izzy in the McLeod Vet the next day or 2 and Dr K knew what do and assured me Izzy would live a great many more years and is on medication for life. I completely trust this vet and all of the staff, they are all very patient, caring and knowledgeable! He was also very understanding of our financial situation and was very accommodating, which its rare to have a vet agree to do pymts! I will always recommend McLeod Vet. Izzy is still here and very healthy and happy she just turned 6.these are all of our fur babies

The staff and doctors really care for their patients. My pets are calm during exams, I always feel we are in good, caring and professional hands

Great experiences at McLeod Vet Hosp. Very accommodating and takes great care of my elderly dog. It has been comforting to be able to bring in my dog throughout Covid and be able to come in to the appt and comfort my dog and discuss the situation in person with the vet. Highly recommend this Vet Hosp.

Over worked vets. No where near as good as they use to be.
Mistakes matter when it comes to a love one. Disappointed to say the least.

Dr. Crump did my baby girl's spay. I was so happy with the surgery. Although she came home with bowel issues after the surgery, not sure if its related to the surgery but my Marley has a sensitive bowel, even the slightest interruption would cause an irritation. The staff and Dr. Crump seen Marley the last minute due to some bowel issues. They accommodated, reassured and looked after my Marley. They take their time to look after your pet and make sure to keep you updated. Dr. Crump even phoned me a few times to make sure she was okay. I am so happy that I switched to Mcleod Vet Hospital. Had a rough couple of days but Marley is on the road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Crump and all the lovely staff of Mcleod Vet Hospital!

This vet has been life changing. I’ve always struggled with trust issues with vets in the past until I found this gem of a clinic in January 2021. Dr. Capper is the kindest human I’ve ever encountered with pet care. She goes above and beyond for me and my fur babies and I am forever grateful for this clinic and her support! Top notch clinic, staff and vet techs!

I heard good about mcleod vet. One if my babies was sick this morning and I knew she had a fever again. I called this place upset and thought as cat was sick and, I mentioned I thought fever up, they would care and at least check her temperature. No way, i told to take to Bridgewater or pembina. I called plessis as I saw they were opened and they made room. I cannot give plessis vet enough stars for caring, but mcleod if only we could give 5 zeros.
I've been at mcleod with my ferret and chinchilla. Never again will I ever go to that place and will highly recommend if someone looking for a place who puts an animal before a dollar, they are not the place to call. By the way, my little one had a fever of 40 point something. Shame on you guys, mcleod vet.

I was struggling to find a Vet. Hospital this morning to take a look at my dog. It was an urgent matter and I really don't trust/want to take him to an emergency hospital. Even my primary Vet.couldn't accomodate us. I called McLeod and Angie answered. She was so sweet and I can tell she really cared about us from her voice and the way she listened to my concerns. She told me they were also pretty booked up but they were willing to see my dog inbetween appointments even though I had never been there before. I brought him in right away and Dr. Emily was so professional and called me twice about my dog. She is so kind and I knew I made the right choice of picking this hospital. She updated me with how he was doing and what steps she was planning to take for him. She wanted to make sure that it would be fine with me first. I feel so relieved knowing how he was doing so well there. They made me feel like he was in really good hands and they gained my trust. I am making McLeod Veterinary Hospital my permanent go-to for my dog and future furry friends. I totally recommend everyone to have their animal companions checked here if ever they need help. Thank you so much!

There is far too much too say about the poor service I received, including having my cats test result in for over 5 hours and not getting notified, (and time was of the essence) to which I had to repeatedly call to only finally get a rather rude response, to having the first of 2 doctors miss the "multiple masses" which I was told by the second doctor there. To having to call around to ask for advice from another vet and calling McLeod and basically having to beg for a referral to another vet out of Province. After asking around I had at least 20 others have similar experiences and some worse than I that way never take there loved one here as all they really seem to care about is the money. And to be honest the doctor admitted they had no idea how to treat my cat and all I was told is" I will have to look it up" supposedly if you claim to be a professional, you should know what your options are. Not the case here and I urge anyone who cares, to seek elsewhere unless you have unlimited funds and care not for your animal. Sickening the "service" I and my cat received and she is now deceased. Shame on you people you sicken me.

They are super friendly. We have been bring our dog to Dr Jason for 12 years. The dog loves him. We like Dr Jason too. The staff are also wonderful - excellent customer service (we order specialty food all the time).

Took my dog to get a cut checked out, the staff was extremely kind and friendly. They answered every question I had and were very professional highly recommend!

Dr. Emily was fantastic. It is quite costly for xrays and bloodwork on my 9 year old Golden but the care shown was beyond good.

Great Vet. Very friendly staff. They do care for the animals and also follow up to see how you pet is doing. I would recommend.

Very caring and compassionate I love how Dr Bob made us feel like we weren’t alone when having to say goodbye to our first dog Tessie and Dr Capper (she was the vet for our second dogs passing) I really love her compassion for fur children and for the parents of the fur child and reassurance we weren’t alone and always making sure we had all the info we needed all of the staff at this hospital are exceptional except for 1 yes I recommend this place whole hearted

Yesterday my Ozzy died after being with me for 16 years. When I contacted your staff, and made arrangements to bring him in, your staff were so understanding, so friendly and so compassionate. I can not say Thank You enough.

Very expensive. Almost got talked into 1000.00's of dollars worth of bills. We had 300.00 cash.our bill was$ 299.90.our beloved pet Chloe survived on the bare minimum. If we had the cash im sure the cost would have been a lot larger.

Just started going at the recommendation of a friend. Nice clean place and excellent care. Staff are very friendly, and we could ask lots of questions.

On the pricey side, thats the only reason its not five stars. They always treat my lil gal amazingly. I started with them then transferred over to a different vet for reasons unrelated to them. Hated the way he treated her came back. No regrets i love them unless its an emergency and they arnt open this is where i will always go as long as i live here

My puppy was not eating, going outside or drinking any water. I called McLeod Vet and got in to see Dr. Capper that afternoon.
They checked her all over. Took an x-ray/ scan.got some meds.
All the staff there are so kind and caring. Thanks to them my puppy is back to normal.

Excellent customer and pet care. The hospital is nice and clean. The staff are really nice. I would recommend this hospital to my family and friends. Our cat Charlie is doing very well.

The staff here clearly care about your pets. Every time I have to bring my pet here I am shown they care. Everyone takes care of my kitty as if it were their own cat. I never feel like they are gouging me and the reception staff are always so warm. The best part is they always seem to remember us and our pet.

I admit its early and we dont have all the info in yet regarding our baby. But so far.so good! Really nice caring vet! Kindest and most compassionate we have met so far!

Great exotic vets. Knowledgeable doctors that are very kind and good with my pets. The vet I saw there when one my pets was at the end of her life handled it with compassion, respect and dignity. They have also provided quality care for others that are still in my life. Do be prepared that they are slightly higher priced but worth the money!

This is our little girl Freya and we almost lost her this week. If not for the quick response of veterinary staff and Dr. Alison, she would not have survived. Our poor Freya was poisoned and my husband and I were just beside ourselves with worry, however, we knew that she was in the best hands possible. The constant updates kept us positive. I have had followup calls checking in on her since her return home and I feel most confident in all the staff and vets. So compassionate and they truly treat each pet like one of their own. I'd be lost without McLeod Vets.

We've taken our cat here for nearly a decade. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Dr Bowles has been excellent, always answering our questions thoroughly and providing options where appropriate.

We had to put our fur baby to sleep. Everyone at the clinic was sweet and wonderful. They let us have time with her before sedation and pain relief, then time with her again, with the lights down, while the sedation worked. We played on the floor with her on a blanket when the vet came 8n and gave her her final needle. They helped us make arrangements for her and were wonderful. Thank God for them because I was a basket case.

Have been going here for many years and they’re consistently SO compassionate. You just know they truly care about your pets. Dr Capper is extraordinary and goes way above and beyond, but it’s every person who works there too. The doctors are utterly amazing, but every single staff member is a great part of the team and they all are friendly and caring. They have excellent service, and are always upfront and fair with pricing too.

We have had here a fantastic care for our rat Chanel.
Dr. Bob Newfield is very professional and excellent! Staff is very friendly! The Technologist Carolyn Tschernow was so polite and paying attention.
Two days after our rat Chanel died, we received a postcard of condolences from the McLeod Vet Hospital. It was so unexpected and touching. We were crying. Thank you!
