Mere Hotel

We’ve stayed here before and always enjoyed it. We went to stay last night but unfortunately had a family emergency and had to leave. Sol at front desk was super understanding and accommodating. Because of her we will be back and encouraging others to stay here as well.

Hotel was amazing, very clean and modern. Great location, easy to walk to downtown area and lot of great food options within a 10 minute walk. Next to couple parks and close to bridge. Partner and I were incredibly comfortable here and agreed that we'd stay here again if we ever visited Winnipeg in the future.

Great location right next to the river path! We had no trouble with parking. We were able to come and go from the lot and always found a spot. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean in all of the common places and our room. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful view of river. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommended much better than any other place in core downtown.

I went to the restaurant that overlooks the river.
The food was exceptional.
Pickerel, calamari, double burger and hand cut fries.
And a few cocktails.
Our waiter was fun.had a great personality.

Room was clean enough, service was friendly even at late hour check in. Good views of the Red river and the Human rights museum.

Room was clean, that’s about the biggest “highlight”

Parking sucks. Coffee maker sucked and wasn’t clean. I thought the lack of laundry bag was part of the “environmental minimalism” until they tried making me pay for it. Bathroom vent didn’t do anything, so no hot showers or solid foods if you’re staying at Mere, which is a pretty apt name for the hotel. It’s merely a hotel, nothing more.

I’m surprised that the glass walled bathroom isn’t mentioned in every single review! The mesh blinds don’t add that much privacy, hope you are very comfortable with your partner.

The hallway noise is very easy to hear, the doors are not thick enough. You can easily hear conversations and other people coming/going.

The TVs could use an upgrade. Very few channels and you can’t cast from your phone.

Other than that the hotel is clean and comfortable.

Decent enough hotel. Interesting look so it's easy to find. Internet was painful as it kept dropping out.

Well this place is interesting. Not much to offer as other hotels it seems, but they do have nice rooms. A lil on the smaller side, but large enough. The bathroom tho! Be prepared as it has a large floor to ceiling window looking into the room, which does have a blind but still makes you feel on display. Didn't bother me, but I know some are praticular with their bathroom habits & some may be uncomfortable due to it. They're also very echo-y.so if you're taking a loud #2, expect your roomie to hear lol.heads up there are bathrooms near the lobby.bet its for that reason lol

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Awesome decore, clean and well stocked with goodies. Love the security and simplicity of the front desk and entrance.

We were booked for a king bed and they swapped us for 2 queens, didn't appreciate that but great atmosphere and nice rooms but why a glass surrond bathroom. Like really come on its called privacy. Sorry to excluded no where to park won't go back there.

Just a one night stay, I was in town for Bruins/Jets hockey game. Nice place, reasonably close to downtown and amenities.

Had an amazing stay here, staff was courteous and very professional, they need to add morning breakfast and in-house restaurant for more comfort, rooms were nice and clean
