Electric vehicles is biggest scam of modern time Bought ford f150 lightning fully electric in Jan 2023 for $115k plus taxes spend 10k on putting 2 chargers one at work one at home. Spent $6000 to upgrade home electric panel to accommodate the charger capacity. You cannot lease the electric vehicle so have to purchase it. Interest rate for ev is 2 to 4 % more than any gas vehicle. Same trim F150 Lariat fully loaded is $85k. We are already spending 50k plus interest more on ev f150 vs regular f150 for same trim level. We buy pick up trucks for recreational use but for Ev there is no infrastructure to support in lakes, camping and remote areas So after buying expensive ev truck you can not take it on your camping or lake or fishing trip. Got into small accident and broke front bumper and lights took body Shop 6 months to fix due to shortage of parts. No one from Ford answers emails or phones about any possible help. Finally got truck back.

Planned a trip to Chicago and planned a stopping points where we can charge
First of all the free chargers which are available are level 2 chargers and they will take 12 hours to charge so can not use them on road trip and level 1 chargers only charges up to 90% and are more expensive than gas for same mileage. First stop was Fargo ND and it took 2 hours to charge From 10 % to 90% and been charged $56 usd which goes 350 Km.

Second stop Albertville MN and charger was faulty and phone support was no help

Went to another closest Level 1 charger in Elk River MN and that charger was faulty again. At that time I had 20 Km range left to drive and there was no level 1 charger in that range. Towed truck to Ford dealership in Elk River and take rental car for my trip and I swear to God it was good decision to take rental for the trip otherwise our whole trip would have been ev disaster

7 months of owning EV f150 I spent $15000 on payments $10k charger and $6500 for panel upgrade.

Here I am,

I can't take it on my lake

I cannot take it for camping

I cannot take for road trip

I can only drive in city

Great service! All work for the three recalls were repaired to my satisfaction. There was a half day delay on getting the small issue with the electrical wiring for the tailgate resolved but I understand that not everything can be done immediately! Dylan was great at letting me know how much longer it would take to get done. Thanks

Jody, in the Service Department, arranged for me to bring my car into Mid Town right after I contacted the Department with a problem. My car was fixed by the next day. Nick, in the Service Department, contacted me with an estimate and fully explained the issue. He then contacted me when the car was ready, and explained the bill. I trust Mid Town and have been a customer for many years.

The service staff were great. I was in the city and had an outstanding recall on my transit van. They accommodated me quickly without an appointment which I really appreciated as I live 2 hours away and had extra time today.

took truck to them and let them know that the starter was not working.and got it changed and went to pick it up once done.no explanation on what was done and was treated poorly.went to the cashier and was asked my name and this is the amount to pay and hurried through the process just to get my money and get me out of there.not customer oriented at all.will not go back,

I brought in my Ford Edge for service
A couple days ago because I had to keep filling my radiator excess coolant container. I was sure there was a leak but they did a pressure test, and said it passed the test. They did a radiator flush and added dye to new coolant. Everyday since when my vehicle is parked it has coolant on ground bright green color.
Either the car wasn’t cleaned properly after coolant was dispensed or I have an actual leak. I also got hose replaced for power steering pump and new fluid added. My savings Is spent and the issue is still not resolved. They also investigated fan blower motor which was making noise but $500 more to replace I will have to live with noisy fan.
Bill was $1,350.00 I am tapped out just have to keep an eye on coolant container
And top up as needed.

Service was prompt. Personnel were thorough and professional.
Expected work was done in a reasonable amount of time.
Issues re-occured and I returned to Quick Lane where, once again, the service was prompt and thorough; staff in service department was professional and courteous.

Reed Boyer was awesome to deal with on a factory order of a 2022 Bronco that ended up being a 2023 Bronco by the time Ford was able to ship the vehicle. Reed was great at communicating with me along this journey and made sure that Ford Canada got me all appropriate pricing concessions to honour the 2022 deal we had agreed to. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Reed again.

The last thing I wanted to do in 2022 was to purchase a vehicle, but thanks to a distracted driver I was forced to find one. On a recommendation I contacted Scott Pollett and asked him to find me a used vehicle that fit into my very limited budget. I landed up having the best experience in purchasing a vehicle that I have ever experienced, and that is saying a lot. I have had my 2014 Ford Focus for a week now and I love it.
Even though I am a senior on a fixed income, I was truly treated like royalty there to buy the most expensive vehicle on the lot!
Making this the best ever experience was Scott Pollet, Della Larson and Julie Baryla. My sincerest thank you for all you did for me, and you undoubtedly do to others. Bless you all!

Disappointed in the lack of service.

We visited on the weekend (aware of the vehicle shortage) because we wanted some information on a Ranger. We hoped they would have a demo vehicle to show us or at least a few moments to discuss with a sales member to decide it was something worth waiting for. The rep met us at the door and quickly declared that there’s nothing in stock only 6 cars on the the whole lot. He wouldn’t tell us what cars he had and refused to discuss anything further. They only information we did get from him was they they were paying 12 associates to babysit the 6 cars and they were enjoying the downtime.

He quickly set us away and we went straight to Honda who treated us with the best service we have ever experienced.

I brought my truck to Mid-Town Ford on a Tuesday for repairs to my front end which only took 7 hours labor to repair. I called Friday to see if my truck was done. They said it is done but if i wanted it today then they could not wash it for me. I had to bring my truck to a car wash and pay out of my pocket in order to properly inspect the work they did to ensure it was done correctly. They had my truck for 5 days and only did 7 hours labor and couldn't wash it. Love Ford but won't be going back here again unfortunately.

I don’t typically post reviews but the service I receive from Mid-Town Ford is exceptional! I purchased my vehicle from Mid-Town in 2011 and have been talking it there for service even though I live 30 mins away. My service advisor Gary Esau has always went above and beyond for me. Twice I’ve had to take my vehicle to another Ford Dealership closer to home and the experience was horrible. Mid-Town Ford is definitely worth travelling 30mins for the exceptional service. Thank You!

Bought an Explorer here in the summer, and although wasnt to pleased at first with a couple of things the team here did what they could to make it better. Customer service is tough, and for a dealership to ask how they did after the purchase and you tell them the things you weren't pleased about they took the time AFTER the sale to make it right. They offer competitive pricing and fantastic customer service!

The staff have always been friendly and courteous at Mid-Town Ford. I brought my car in recently to have the brakes looked at and while I was expecting to get my vehicle back later in the day, I was contacted and advised things were backed up from the weekend and it may not get done until the next day and to see if I was okay. I really appreciated the call. They did call me early the next day to advise me my car was ready for pick up.

The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that two of the tires were low on pressure and my tire pressure indicator was on. It may have been because my vehicle had been indoors - I know this kind of service is normally done.

Went there to check if they have the parts for my vehicle. The girl at the front desk was very unfriendly and mean to me, I was shocked and I had no idea why that was happening. I don’t feel like going back there anymore if I don’t have to.

I bought a SUV Ford Escape on Dec 29th, 2020 with you and it hasn't been the best. First of all it was delivered to me without the spare tire, a spare was missing from the front panel, and to make matters worse it was delivered to me without the factory access code that is an integral part of the SUV. The response times to my complaints have not been the best and I cannot solve anything.

You said that the F150 car does not need rust prevention, but why did I not tell me when I bought it, but I need more money to pay? It also promises to have a professional chassis rust prevention certificate, you will spray F150 chassis for free every two years, and never have to worry about the car rusting. Therefore, let me spend more money to buy.

I mentioned the time to replace the door trim. I think this is a small problem that can be resolved quickly. If this is a complicated issue, I can understand it no matter how long it takes. I think you want me to return the car to you at 8 in the morning. I need to wait until the evening to return the car to me. I do not understand

When I first encountered a series of problems when buying a new car, I was really frustrated.

My experience with Mid-Town Ford has been amazing throughout the years. I highly recommend this place to purchase a vehicle new or used. The service department treats me well and accommodates when they can. My history is that I have purchased 3 vehicles and have had warranty and regular maintenance done at this location. I haven't been dissatisfied yet in the 18 years that I have used them.

Excellent service today at Mid-Town Ford for my oil change and tire rotation. Staff were friendly and efficient, waiting room was socially distant and I was in and out within 30 minutes of my scheduled appointment.

Brought my truck in for oil and tire change and to have my brakes looked at. Brakes were squealing at low speeds. Brake issue was fixed and the service staff were helpful. However, brought car home put the parking break on and when I went to drive it later the parking break sensor wouldn’t disengage. Not sure if it’s the sensor or the parking break so I’m left without the use of my vehicle. I’m giving a low rating as I feel my brakes are in a worse state than when I brought it in. Never had this issue prior having my brakes worked on. I now have to go through the hassle of getting my brakes looked at. This issue should have been caught through some type of brake test process after repairs were completed. I had this issue after engaging the parking break just once.

Bought my f150 from this dealership and decided to just get the work done by their service department since I liked their sales team.

Brought my truck in to get few recalls fixed with repairs and maintenance done. They returned my truck with a broken airbag sensor that they broke and wanted me to pay for it saying that it was my fault when I brought it in without a broken sensor. They said there was a Croc shoveled under the seat and when they moved the seat it broke it and it was my fault? I work out of my truck and I move my seat everyday maxed out to the back and bring it back to the front when I want to lay back which is everyday and somehow when they moved it once and it broke. If that was the fault of it or was previously there I'd have broke it myself a long time ago. Imagine paying for tons of repairs and maintenance and then end of the day they give you another quote of $400 to fix something they broke and said it was your fault when I was across the city. Now my airbags won't deploy if I get into an accident in the worst time of season in Winnipeg.

I just wanted to comment on the exceptional service I received yesterday. On the way home from work yesterday, my car filled with gas fumes and I got an instant headache and couldn't breathe. I turned off the air exchange and called Mid-Town Service. I was 10 minutes away. They said they would wait and they did. At the end of my 10 minute journey, the fumes had dissipated somewhat but I still was concerned. I pulled up to the service bay and the shuttle driver and Service Rep were patiently waiting. Everyone had gone home. They checked everything over under the hood, even "sniffed for gas" because I asked them to.lol They gave me the probable scenario of the problem, telling me they were there if needed. Not once did they dismiss my concern! I chose to continue the drive home.

I just wanted to say that I switched to Mid-Town Service from the dealership where I had purchased my Fusion. These people are amazing. I have never left disappointed. Ever! I just wanted to thank them for everything they have done over the past 2 years. They have restored my faith in honesty and integrity in vehicle servicing. They made my day. Really! Thank you.

This dealership is well located, but its lot can be challenging to get around in. It is packed and very busy. But I found their staff courteous and very friendly and the selection of used and new vehicles good.
