One thing I can say regarding Montana's is consistency. With a western atmosphere, great menu variety, and excellent service I have never been disappointed. Therefore I enjoy Montana's in any city. Don't forget the CAA discount!

Service was extremely slow today
Waited 5 mins to get seated, then waited over an hr for our food
I'm guessing they must have been understaffed today.
Food was excellent just the service lacked

Ordered through Skip the Dishes. Food was cool to touch, ribs DIDN'T fall off the bone, infact had to rip apart & reheat in hotel microwave!
Big chunks of coleslaw that wasn't shredded in container, did I get the bottom of the bucket?
Packaging could use work, I poured my liquid sour cream, is this right?
Never again will we waste our money! That's over $50.waisted.
Should have gone else where!

Today I came to know your servers are the one who decide and select the tip. Me and wife went here for dinner and when time to pay I used the scene points which I paid $40 and then he gave me the machine for taping my card with $49.00 more. So I asked him how can I add tip to the amount then he replied “tip is already added to the pay”. Wait what…? So, now restaurants actually started deciding how much customer pay as tip too?

Out of curiosity, on the way back home in my car, I just calculated and figured he just charged me around $20 as tip. Which is over 20%. Its okay because food was good. But can’t believe server just foced tip to the bill.

Not sure it something happens there often or I am missing something…

Place was half empty and we were told it wud be half hour wait before we cud even sit down. Might have stayed if we cud have sat at one of the many empty tables and had a drink. But was told to sit out front or are car and they wud text us.

Food was tasty. Ordered a steak dinner. Steak was flavourful and cooked to medium rare like I asked. Found the steak to be a touch dry but still tasty. Waitress was polite and efficient. Not overly friendly. Overall a good experience.

Came for there "Great Canadian steak event". Food was pretty much mediocre. Steaks were dry and 3/4" thick. Not very juicy.

Lena was a great server! Fast, prompt and efficient service.

Had an awesome lunch. The food was excellent and the waiter Matt O was really nice. You could tell he liked his job. Very friendly, I formative and excellent service.

Third time at this restaurant. We won't be going back. Ribs were overdone and dry - no amount of sauce will improve this situation. We have had issues with food in the previous visits (overdone, salty or cold). Can no longer hope situation will change. Work too hard for disappointing meals and my time too valuable to waste complaining and sending things back. Will continue at Regent location instead or make at home.

Went around 2pm, it was not too busy at this time. The food was exactly what we ordered, arrived quickly, table service was quick, it was a good visit

Went to several Montana's the food is good but the service and staff are really bad, this one is the worst of all, bad management, several poor decisions. I do NOT recommend this place at all. When we go out we want to have a good time with friends and family and this place just don't understand what the hospitality words means.

WHEN BUSY: Not kid friendly, nor family oriented. I will never forget how this place treated my family. I had a terrible service, and the staff was awful to us.

Regardless I know their food is not bad, in fact it is good. I am not coming back of course, but the experience I had was solely with my family and I. Maybe you can get more from this place.

Front door staff was very rude and the steak was undercooked thank you to our server she was very polite but the overall experience was not good

Food is always amazing, we came in as large group, forgot to make a reservation. But they were still willing to make room and seat us!

Whole evening ruined…. How can you run out of ribs on “all you can eat ribs” night 2 hours prior to closing. The disappointing part is my friend called to verify the deal earlier In the day. False advertising

Our server was flustered bur efficient, you could tell she was overwhelmed.

My brother had passed away and so I gave her a 50$ tip in his honor.

She started bawling and told us it was a hard day and that we made her day!

Best experience ever

The girlfriend ordered the full rack of ribs, and there was barely any meat and there were shards of bone throughout the rack. 90 bucks later, I'm not impressed.

It has been a while to dine-in.
Still delicious food and worthy to visit for family dinner.

Food was good as usual. Staff was excellent. The atmosphere and music were also excellent. The family loves going to Montana 's.

Sad to see “brisket” off the menu. Not sure how you call yourself a smoke house and don’t have brisket. Nothing else worth having.

My son ordered a beer and it had something disgusting floating in it, we told our waitress and she brought another one that had even more floaties Steak was delicious, but my "loaded" baked potato was not even warm enough to melt the butter then I found something hard in it that broke my tooth, they took a whole 5$ off our bill lol dentist costs were definitely not worth the meal. My son had the pulled pork sandwich that was dry with no flavor but on the bright side our waitress was awesome

Excellent service and great food. Steak was perfectly cooked as requested, and all other patrons were very happy with their dishes. Very attentive staff, making sure everything was on point and we were enjoying the experience.

From our table we were able to see in the kitchen and none of the cooks were wearing masks. I'm not going to be going back anytime soon

Went there for a birthday celebration. As expected the food was good and the service was great as well. Our drinks all tasted great and the birthday tequila shots were perfect!

I’m happy to report that the veggie burger is amazing, and the gluten free bun was good too. Thanks Anna for the excellent service.

Rude curly haired manager had a bad attitude and asked us to wait for 20 minutes when half the building was empty and interrupted the kind waitress that was about to seat us, went to st vital Montana’s and had great service.

Most of the staff like the host were nice. Curly haired “manager” had an attitude when asking about the food.seemed to have an issue with fruit flys.

Seriously I don’t know what it is. I mentioned THREE times it was my birthday and not a clue. I didn’t get no birthday fuss nothing. Zilch. This happened before and worse part is others on nearby tables DID get the special treatment of song and cake!

I loved it. Food was friggen awesome. Started with yummy antojitos. My steak was cooked perfect! I stole a rib of my sons all you can eat ribs, nice, meaty, the bomb. The apple crisp with ice cream, I loved all the carmel and the cute dish. Service was awesome, friendly with great timing. A warm and welcoming environment.

Literally had no clue this place existed until some of my European-Canadian friends showed it to me. That being said, when I arrived, my time was exquisite.

The service was speedy, the patios were pristine, and the food was fantastic. I had one of the best pulled pork sandwiches in my life there.

If you ever get the chance, go. It'll be worth it (especially with the complimentary lollipop at the end of your meal).

We didn't visit a restaurant since March 2020, and maybe we forgot how it should feel.

The service was great, and this is the only light in our visit. The starters were good as well but all the main dishes (fish and fries, 10ps steak, brisket sandwich and spinach dip) didn't really meet our expectations.

Myself, my wife Henrietta, my daughter Annie and associate professor Ed Getly had a marvelous dinner however we found it to be quite humid and after digesting my meal I quickly fell ill and was unable to indulge in dessert.

Will not go back. Visited the sterling lyon location. Service was good, was greeted well, but the food…

I ordered the all you can eat ribs, talk about dry… not even bbq sauce could make the meat moist. It was so bad that I had 2 bones and asked the server if I could change from all you can eat to just regular as I didn’t want to even order any more other than what was already at our table. She was super helpful and offered to have me change my plate.

I agreed and got the beef rib instead. Dang.even that one.tastes so dry, and tastes like meat that was cooked the day before. That taste that beef gets after it’s been stored in the fridge?

Honestly, we used to love Montana’s, it was one of our go to’s, but the quality has fallen.and after this one, made my wife promise to not let us go back.

The food was excellent but the portions were so small i could have eaten both mine and my wifes meal. We went to Mcdonalds after to fill our stomachs very disappointing.

Bring on the Honkin Beef. We always take a sauce home. Favorite is the Habanero hot sauce Mmmmm

Enjoyed lunch with my family after trip to the Zoo. Yummy fish and chips. Enjoyed our appetizer.

We took our family of 5 out for the first time in forever. Staff were great, very welcoming. Great food as always I would recommend the big smoke platter. If your looking for a great family friendly place this is your spot. Make sure you get there early as it filled up fast.

Went with a friend in the afternoon, the place wasn't so busy, were welcomed and seated. A waitress was serving us, we ask for a drink suggestion, and we ordered a refillable ice tea, starter with Oven-Baked Antojitos, main course with Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Apple Pecan Harvest Salad and Onion Rings. The food came fast as described and looked in the menu, the starter was delicious and the cheese melting, the salad was good and fresh. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was delicious and tasty specially the chicken gravy. My overall experience was good I enjoyed my dining as they just started to open up and allowing inside dining, we felt safe to eat and everyone was wearing mask. The Welcoming guy and the waitress who served us both were polite and accommodating. Finally, it's been a while since I eat outside or visited Montanas, and I'm glad that it didn't disappoint me, the service, food was at its best and the place was nice as always, I'm sure I'll back again.

Family friend place with a delicious food and good option for kids. I liked the attendant but by the end of our lunch we tried to ask the desert but no one came, we had to ask for someone to take our order.

Montana's is like Starbucks. It's always really good, and always really consistent. Never had a bad meall or bad service at a Montana's. Had never been to this location before, and it was, as expected, very good

The food there is fantastic. Our server was really cheerfull.also a nice place to bring kids. We loved it. And plan to go again

It was great, friendly service. Brisket sandwich is amazing. Also lots of meat on the ribs. The interior style is a little different than some others I've been to in that the bar and dining area don't seem to be very separate and there aren't as many antique and outdoor collectible items around.

I am working in Winnipeg and I visit a lot of restaurants and steak houses. Montana's is my favourite I founded always good food nice service and cheaper prices.

Went to celebrite my Dads 76th birthday. The waitress did a great job when 4-5 of us ordered nearly the same thing and she did her best to clear it all up.
I sure enjoyed the ribs and wings combo.

I like Montana's but the kitchen in the Brandon location is hard to beat

For a weekday it took quite a while to get our food. 45 mins. Ordered the brisket bbq sandwich which was ok. Nothing crazy. It's definitely not as affordable as it used to be. I would not return again.

Love this place. Servers are great, the food is always delicious. Their ribs are so fantastic. Love that we can choose any and all of the sauces

Great service and good food, i eat a pulled pork sandwich good flavour but its not the best sandwich i eat.

Went out to this location tonight and was very disappointed with the service and the food. First my order came out wrong steak was
cooked wrong and also took a long time getting out. The loaded potato was so dry butter didnt even help. After getting up myself with my plate since waitress was no where to be found. Then asked if I needed a box I say no i want my steak cooked how I asked for it the first time. Then while my family was done there meals I was still waiting for mine. Waitress did come back and ask if we wanted the machine. What's the rush wanted to put more people in. The place was jam like we were cattle. Then she comes to the table with the machine and no bill.not happy and I will not come back. I ordered this from another location and the serving size was much better. I swear am not going to be the only bad review as there was alot of other tables we that were not happy.

Always a pleasure to eat at Montana's! The quality of the food is really good and the customer service is generally impeccable.

535 to 618pm waited for two 10oz steak dinners and when they came out after we asked manager to check on them they both came out cold and the side baked potatoes were only thing hot. And it took them another 10mins for the remake to come out. And mine came out wrong size 7oz instead of 10oz. And it's the shift supervisor that's been looking after us after the screw up on our meals

Sooo disappointed in the Kenaston location. Went there on Sunday Oct 27th for lunch. I swear our waitress forgot about us, we waited 50 minutes for our food and were at the point of wanting to just walk out. It wasn't even busy when we were there, not to mention watching other tables arrive after us and get fed before us. The waitress never came back in that time to even check if we wanted refills on our drinks or to apologize for the LONG wait time. Once our food came we finally got our drinks refilled, the steak was not cooked how we asked, and my chicken sandwich was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle - we literally waited so long i didnt even want to complain because i didn't have another free hour to wait for cooked food. At no time did our waitress even ask how our meal was. I wish now I would of said something to management it was the worst service/experience ever. We always go to Regent location and will continue to only visit that location.

I would first like to say that our visit far exceeded all of my expectations. I was told this restaurant was bad, but I could not possibly fathom it would be this bad. We arrived without a fuss after booking a reservation for 14. Then I opened the menu. For me the obvious "safe choice" was ribs. But for most of my family, luck in finding a suitable option would not play out in their favour. My brother: steak and mashed potatoes; steak tasted like bully beef while being tougher to chew then a hockey puck, all while cooked to "medium rare". To make matters worse, his mashed potatoes tasted like "envelope glue". I kid you not, those are his words. Next was my cousins brisket sandwich. Was the brisket cooked 4 days ago and microwaved back to room temp? Ya, most likely it was. It honestly didn't look edible and I had to give him one of my ribs cause he only managed to down half of it. Great aunt was missing shrimp on her dish that was supposed to be half shrimp, grandma barely got any shellfish on hers, though the sandwich literally revolved around the shellfish. Ah yes, my other aunties order. The order that took 30 minutes to arrive after the first dish arrived at the table. It looked interesting yet certainly not satisfying to say the least. Additionally, every dish that came on a skillet, came on an ice cold skillet. This left me heavily confused. Finally, my ribs. Ahh BBQ sauce. Said it was of the bold type. Well, it was about as bold as a yellow snow cone. Luckily the meat on the ribs was nice enough and it came with cornbread, which was edible. Glad I made the "safe choice". There were multiple other issues that I honestly don't have time to discuss, this has taken me long enough to write.
It's been two days and I won't get into how my insides continues to feel. Would highly recommend Montana's to anyone looking for a disastrous all-American night out!

Disappointed! Have gone to this Montana's several times and enjoyed it. Today, Oct. 6 at around 4pm my wife, son and I went again. Restaurant wasn't full and we were seated immediately. We sat for over 20 minutes and we were not greeted, offered drinks or served at all. 3 or 4 different employees cleaned tables around us and served other tables their drink refills during this time, right next to our table. Eye contact didn't garner us a response. So we left and went to 5 guys.
Edit: Received a call of apology from the restaurant management since my experience. This has not been my typical experience at this Montana's in the past, and would hope and expect it wouldn't be again, in the future. I've revised my rating to reflect how this situation was handled after the fact.

Quick friendly service and excellent food service times! Our server Katie was very attentive and extremely welcoming and friendly!
