Ordered food in Jan 6/2024, ordered chicken Alfredo, paid extra 6.00 to add chicken.the Alfredo sauce was not smooth and creamy but chunky and tasted like it had vinegar in it, the chicken was so white, no color, the bread knots had no flavor whatsoever, we also ordered 2 pasta carbonara.real Carbonara has peas and is creamy and smooth.it tasted the same as the Alfredo and it tasted sour and was chunky.not sure if the milk was sour or vinegar or lemon was added but in all was a very unpleasant experience.we were so looking forward to enjoying our family dinner but was so very disappointed and will not order from this restaurant again or refer it to others.we don't order in often so to waste 80.00 on food that we couldn't finish was equivalent to throwing money in the garbage

Some of the best Italian food in the city. I had the Chicken Parmigiana with meat sauce and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Italian food.

The food is amazing, staff are friendly, drinks are great. They even import dessert from Italy.

Great food. Great service. Will be back. It is a small place, so it gets pretty noisy. A reservation is recommended.

We tried both the baked and deep fried cheese raviolis (take out). Both were very good. We received 4 dinner rolls, but 2 were burnt black and not edible. The two that were edible were very good

Ordered the penne Arrabiato (medium) and it was way too spicy (confirmed by staff) so i just changed it for a fettuccine Alfredo and the portion was literally half even though I had ate nothing from my first plate that I returned and the Alfredo sauce was grainy and only tasted of flour. Very disappointed honestly because I heard many good stuff about this place but I wont be returning to have a hit or miss meal.

Food was outstanding and so tasty with generous portions and very good price! Staff were friendly and so attentive. There were four of us all with different entrees and everyone raved about how yummy their meal was! Lovely little surprise from our waitress at the end of our meal! Do not get to Winnipeg often but will be coming back here as soon as we do get back to Winnipeg!

I ordered the chicken Parm. The Alfredo sauce was grainy and not outstanding. The chicken was great. We attended as a large group. We had multiple servers and sometimes requests were overlooked as the message didn't make it from one to the other. The atmosphere was great for a staff gathering.

So far I have loved everything I have tried on the menu, the portion sizes surprise me every time for how much you're paying. The staff are friendly and accommodating, would have another birthday here again.

Amazing food! The focaccia was INCREDIBLE. The best I have ever had. The calzone was humongous and just as tasty as it was huge! It could easily feed 2 adults. Get ready to wait a bit longer than usual for food, but it is soooo worth it. The staff are competent and friendly, what more can you ask for in restaurant service? The reason atmosphere loses points is because the event room near the front of the restaurant got really warm as the sun filtered in and the people crowded in but it was a very hot day and what can you do? Also the bathroom was kinda dingy, but it was at least clean.

WE GOT FOOD POISONING FROM MONTICCIO PIZZA! WE CALLED AND THE OWNER CAME TO THE PHONE AND HE WAS SOOOO RUDE INSTEAD OF APOLIGIZING HE YELLED AT ME AND SAID HE KNOWS PIZZA FROM ITALY AND HUNG UP. I WAS BORN IN ITALY MYSELF AND THESE ARE NOT THE COOKING SKILLS OF AN ITALIAN! HE TDLD ME OFF AND WOULD NOT REFUND ME AND SLAMMED THE PHONE IN MY EAR MEANWHILE HERE I AM VOMITINO HIS PIZZA! MY HUSBAND TOO STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE RESTAURANT CANNOT BELIEVE HOW AWFUL i WAS TREATED PIZZA WAS SOOOOO DRY AND TASTED LIKE CARBOARD. THE PIZZA MADE US SICK AND THE CHEESE WAS EXPIIRED AS IT SMELLED REALLY BAD WOULD NOT EVEN FEED THIS PIZZA TO THE DOGS! WHAT A HORRIBLE RESTAURANT SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!

I will definitely be coming back. It took a second to find it, but I also was distracted for a second while looking but we arrived.
The food was spectacular. Great portion sizes for price, and it tasted delicious.
I went with my partner and he had the Stromboli, and he had plenty leftover, after he and I shared garlic knots and greek salad, and I had the chicken parmigiana.
Our server was super kind, she came by and kept note of our waters, and helped us a lot.
The tables and chairs were amazing. The place felt cozy and personal, and it felt like i could genuinely enjoy my time with my partner.

I will certainly be going back, and I can't wait til then.

Service was very slow and difficult to find a waitress. Tables were not cleaned off after beverages. Food was average.
Probably will not return.

Wasn't the greatest but have had worse. Restaurant had a funny smell inside almost like a musty smell. Very cramped in the lower area and not even enough room between ours and the next table to move our roller chairs. Wouldn't come here again although the bread knots were good.

Great service, delicious food (veal parm and pizza), and the bread rolls to start just melt in your mouth.

I ordered Seafood Shells… I don’t honestly know what to say…
Paid $23 for four large pasta shells with cheese and Alfredo sauce.
The online menu says “Seafood Shells
Large pasta shells stuffed with crab, shrimp, scallops, and ricotta, baked with Alfredo sauce”. (Doesn’t that sound amazing?) Well the dish visually looks bland and unappetizing and looks like it’s missing something in a giant bowl with virtually nothing in it. I found one shrimp the size of my pinky finger nail and one scallop that was just slightly bigger. The dish was absolutely terrible! Big price tag for no flavour, no food and big disappointment.

Dining in wasn’t particularly enjoyable with all the skip the dishes people all over the restaurant, they were blocking the bathroom and ignoring my requests to get by them. I actually had to ask over and over until I had to raise my voice to be heard.

We had reservations and were sat under a heat vent that blasted hot air constantly, at first it was nice but by the end of the meal it was absolutely not. The tables are crammed in together to get maximum occupancy, not comfortable at all especially when you have to ask another patron to move so you can get up.

Also… when you serve more bread, you should serve more butter as well. I’m not sure why the bread here is raved about because half of it came out hard, dry and burnt black.

Will not be returning.
