An outstanding halal restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere! One of my favorites on the menu is the Shawarma meal, which includes two delicious shawarma wraps and oven-baked, low-fat fries. You get fantastic taste for the price – definitely a must-try!

Just had the shawarma, meaty calzone and chicken tikka with my friends. The food that we had left us completely speechless! What a food man I went completely nostalgic! The kebab was top notch and there was a complete blast of juicy meat the second I took a bite. The calzone has always been my favourite and I couldn’t stop eating. The food and service can undoubtedly make someone's day. The world would’ve been a happier place if everyone in this world had the privilege to fill their tummy with these food. Mr. Calzone is not just a restaurant it is a legacy! Hats off to all the people who works there they are so friendly and welcoming. Guys, if you have never been to this place then I am telling you you are going to regret the rest of your life! People would go auction for this food man! Whoever’s reading this review, leave whatever you’re doing and get the hell out of there and get some calzone asap! Peace

Worst food experience i had in my four years in winnipeg too much cheese on pizza and so oily asked for garlic base and they charged extra too but worst pizza ever better could have eaten at McDonald’s.

Ordered here for the first time today and probably won’t again.

The taste just wasn’t up to pair with some local restaurants.

Asked the staff what to order. They rightfully recommended the meaty calizone which is comprised of chicken & beef, pepperoni, coleslaw and the most delicious garlic sauce. All baked nicely within the calizone dough. The crust was light, the calizone was full of flavor. Make sure you ask for extra garlic sauce and hot sauce on the side. Definitely will be back for more. Great addition to the community.

Food taste is really good especially chicken tikka, chicken calzone (add cheese) makes this combo mouth watering.staffs are really friendly.

Absolutely fantastic. First time having a calzone and it was amazing. Spectacular service and assistance in deciding what to order. Will return again!

Very friendly and quick service. Food was delicious and generous. Kudos to the team for the right mix of pricing, flavour, portions and smiling service.

The food was tasty but the presentation less so. Wasn't sure how I was supposed to go about eating what I was served.

Paid $67.00 for 4 calzones. Asked for extra sauce and cheese. Did not get hardly any of either. They where very dry. Will not go back to this one.

This place is absolute fire. We had never been before and the employees were 11/10. Calzone was absolutely divine and exquisite. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

Amazing calzones, as someone in Winnipeg told me, you haven't been to Winnipeg if you haven't tried Mr. Calzone's calzones! Freshly made and out of the oven, super delicious and filling. Must try for anyone visiting here, make sure to order early though!

Horrible service. I ordered a veggie calzone with no dairy, they put dairy in and when I called and asked for it to be remade (because I can't have dairy) the guy was rude, laughed at me, and hung up. Don't order from here there are better places to go for food.

This place is garbage. Your simple order is donair but it takes an hour for it to get it ready. I’d never ever order from these clowns again.

Worst experience ever

Perfect place to go after a night out and you have a craving that just needs to be satisfied before going home, can’t count the amount of times this place has come in clutch for me!

Went there as someone recommended it, but to be honest I didn't find the calzone very good, the portions are very good though, which I appreciate, and good prices. The staff are friendly too. I would say give it a try because I think it's a matter of preference, some people like it, some people don't.

Best fries in town hands down, crispy hot fresh and all too delicious partnered with their garlicky mayo this combo can't be beat. 5 star fries

Food was perfect and the guy at the counter gave me a free sprite on the way out even when i offered to pay

Ordered the all meat and what I got was hardly any meat but alot of cole slaw.which we thought was weird.

One of the best staff makes you feel like you're an ol time customer. I was visiting winnipeg and they hooked the food up pretty well. Modify as you like they'll cater. Good location aswell
