Mr. Lube + Tires

Stopped in to get my tire pressure checked and windshield Washer fluid topped up. The customer service was excellent especially the lady that took care of me. Bobby was amazing.

Good staff and the work quality execl than the other workplaces moreover the work done was best

Had to wait 1 hour and 30 mins. Went there for seasonal tire change. They come up with a million reasons why they cannot put my winter tire on and I have to buy new ones. Went to different mechanic and he said your tires are fine.

SCAM DONT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING.went to get my tires done AND THEY DID SOMETHING TO MY TIRES WITHOUT TELLING ME THERE WAS A $100 UPCHARGE! RIDICULOUS DONT BOTHER COMING HERE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! Called and spoke to the manager he called me a lier very rude and ridiculous! The guy who did my tires said it was 150 because you don’t need an appointment and they work all day without breaks.

Never again boss spent over $1500 for 2 vehicles and they bursted the work truck radiator saying it wasn't there fault had to buy a new radiator because of there work experience.thumbs down

Great place! The staff are very knowledgeable and will only suggest the maintenance services that are needed right away and which ones can wait until next visit. Very hard working, honest staff.

Cash grabbers waiting to loot you at an oil change. I went in for an oil change, paid for two flushes as well, which I suppose could be justified. However, they threw out my engine air filter before I could say no, and had to have that changed for 60 CAD. I did not appreciate the fact that they did not provide me with the chance to say yes or no to a service that cost me way more than I anticipated it would.
Edit: Got a call from the manager of the branch 'Cam Ken' after posting this review. After extensive discussion, with many inconsistencies, he offered to 'fire the technician' responsible. When I pointed out that this does not help me, he offered a 50 CAD gift card for Mr. Lube which comes down to a few dollars less than the price of the air filter. When I mentioned that I want no further services from Mr. Lube, he told me a refund for the price of the air filter was impossible. Funny that firing someone, (which I never asked for and think was an absurd proposition), is more doable than a refund? Avoid this place at all costs.

This operation seems to be predatory business and employs predatory business practices. The tech team lead by manager Kamal are skilled and proficient in standard high pressure sales techniques and negotiation tactics, which amounts to a kinda of manipulation game that results in the customer spending a lot of money and don't worry there are a ton financing options to buy things you don't need with money you don't have. If you look at other 'low score' reviews they pretty much say the same thing, Mr. Lube = Mr. Predator. Many of these low score reviews have been commented on, by Mr. Lube, to the tune of "tell us more and we'll try to make it right. ", which is nice but I just really don't want to have to fight off predators to get an oil change. I don't know if the entire Mr. Lube business model is this predatory or if it's isolated to one station. One thing is for certain, applying a predatory strategy can be very profitable in the short term for both Mr. Lube and Kamal's team, if they work on commission. If I sent my grandma here, they would pick her apart for $1000 and then press her ashes into tires. Do not send susceptible people, like seniors, to this place or they may be taken advantage of.

Some common problems include, in no particular order,
1. They try to sell you things you didn't ask for and you don't need.
2. They will argue with you to make the sale.
3. They have a hard time understanding the concept of no. Sometimes the customer may have to declare "no" three or more times for the message to get through. They will go to great lengths to pick apart a customer's logical response to their probing questions in order to make a sale.
4. At one time, they seriously tried to convince me to sell my current tires on kijiji and buy some new tires from Mr. Lube.
5. You tell them to do one thing, they say yes, then they do that thing with some extra stuff to double your bill. Then you are like, wait, I didn't consent to that extra stuff. This is a textbook case of an illegal business practice. This practice puts pressure on the customer to accept they consented, when really they did not.
6. They will structure their service so that you must come back to them.presumably for additional abuse.
7. One time they told me that my tire was all-weather but then I looked up the model number on the Mr. Lube website it was stated as all-season, which is what they were trying to sell me.

I needed to check my tire pressure. The guys did everything in a minute for free and with a smile. 5 stars and good luck! I will return to them again.

I went there and they told me my spark plug had oil in it. I told them I had warranty and would take it to Kia. Kia told me there was no oil on my spark plugs. I went back and complained because I spent 50$ on a “maintenance check” at Kia based on what they advised me just for Kia to tell me nothing is wrong. Mr lube basically told me I was lying and that they had cameras (which they never sent me the footage of) and said they’d give me a coupon for next time (which I never received and they already give out coupons every month). The name of the person helping me was Kamal!

Seriously, don't trust all the good reviews. I've never had an experience like I had here. They are swindlers, and will trap you if you have a flat tire. They will come up with all kinds of excuses to buy what they want you to buy and try to trap you into not being able to leave. I am just happy I made it home safe and sound with little injury, but feeling a bit violated. All the classic signs of a swindle from start to finish.

Found a screw in my tire - took me in right away. Showed me that the screw hadn’t actually gone through the inner wall and lmk the cost to let me make an informed decision! Wow - not every business has integrity in todays world! Vansh and the team are great! If you’re looking for fast efficient service from a tire or oil change- visit this location!

Very awful experience, bunch of scammers hired by the location last summer it’s happened to me and I trapped and it cost me about $300 for single tyre change, same happened today I have a tyre leakage problem and they say the same thing that it is not repairable and suggest to change all four tyres to get guaranteed tyres when I refused their customer service become horrible said next time if just check charge $ 30
