If you like snakes, it would be hard to not give this place 5 stars. Trails are well maintained, signage is very informative and well composed, and bathrooms were clean. We saw snakes out at all 4 of the dens despite visiting in the fall on a cool, cloudy day.

I would like to say that it's very boring place
. In terms of seeing just one species at each den. If you really love seeing snakes, then go to some zoo or something.lol The place is just a kind of forest with walkways and nothing very special to see.
I got to handle the snake, which was quite interesting and fun for me.

We didn’t see any garter snakes because of the season, but we had a great time walking around.

Great plan to do it on a sunny-hot day. It's not a long trail, just 3 km. Walking distance around 1hr / 1.5 hrs. Be aware if you go with your dog that there are lots of ticks, and if possible, repellent. Not internet or phone signal at all.

Wide flat walking trails good for strollers and little kids. Was very busy for Mother's Day, cars parked on the road and line-ups for outhouses.

Loved the Narcisse Snake Dens in Manitoba! Though fewer snakes than expected from YouTube videos, it was still awesome. Remember to pack a hat, water, and sunscreen since there's not much shade. Watch out for ticks on the benches, so be cautious. Overall, a great visit!

Prior to covid, my kids and I would head out to the pits every mother's day. This was the first year back in about 3-4 years and it never disappoints!

Nice place. Wait another 3 days to go. Some snakes out already but hold the peak is yet to hit

Nice path for a medium length walk. Interesting to see and interact with the snakes. There was several snake dens to see.

A good place to visit and watch snakes and wildlife but be aware there are lots of ticks everywhere. Also the mosquitoes

What a great Mother's Day I had. My daughter, husband and I made a trek to Narcisse Snake Dens?

Nice place to see the garter snake mate in the snake den. Be prepared to find parking if you go on a weekend but it shouldn't be too bad.

Went up for the day with my girlfriend and friend, I personally do not think it is worth an hour and a half drive from Winnipeg.
The snakes were cool to see!
The path was alright as well. We were expecting more to look at rather than just a path, but going out for the experience and being a Manitoban that makes it worth it.

First time going with the kids, the 4th den was by far the most active and I ended up finding this little guy slithering around. The worker that was walking around said they are more active earlier in the day.

It’s an awesome experience when you go at the right time of year. Otherwise, it’s still a nice walk. Went with my 4 year old and it would’ve been worth it to bring a stroller!

Nice trail that you can do a few laps around while looking for snakes. A few snake dens provide a really nice viewing point for a dense population of snakes if that is what you are looking for. I enjoyed my time here and am glad parking was free and plentiful. I would visit more often if it was not so far outside of the city. No tickets are needed to enter. Safe for kids. Gravel trail paths, no concrete/cement. You can pick up the snakes if you'd like.

Am interesting large park. If you want walk around the whole park, you can spend 2-3 hours here.

There is not enough some store or cafe nearby where you can buy something
