NICE HAIR Salon & Barbershop - Across From Polopark

I recently had a “consultation” for my hair today that was dyed purple over a month ago. I wasn’t even sat done in a chair and the woman working there didn’t even touch my hair or even try ask about my hair history. She jus looked at me from a distance and told me my hair is way too damaged and i heat style it daily (which i don’t, i had it curled and hair sprayed because i had an event the day before which i rarely ever do) a professional would have sat me down or even rinsed a strip to see my natural hair and texture.a person can’t literally jus look at you from a foot away and tell you what’s possible and what isn’t. Also i’ve been here a few times to get my nails done and they reuse all of their nails tools, and the girl who was working on my pedicure kept trying to give me another customers socks even after i told her so many times they weren’t mine.at the end of doing my nails she ended up giving me another customers socks AGAIN.it was gross and i literally wish they took the time to LISTEN instead of just assume they know everything.

I used to go to Nails #1 when I was in my teens and 20s. I moved out of the province and hadn’t been back for probably 10ish years, Daniel, who Id have do airbrushing on my nails REMEMBERED me from that long ago. I was shocked! He is always so friendly and talkative, the lady who did my nails did a PHENOMENAL job, I got them done 10 weeks ago, they are very grown out but there is ZERO lifting/breaking. These are bulletproof lol. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this salon. The quality of their work was abysmal – two of my nails were broken, and my skin was cut during the process. It seemed like the work of an amateur. To make matters worse, when I asked for the issues to be fixed, they charged me an additional $50, bringing my total bill to nearly $100 for subpar nail services. To top it all off, the owner's rudeness only exacerbated the ordeal. I would strongly advise against visiting this nail salon, as the quality of service and customer care left much to be desired. "

For all those looking for excellent customer service and professional haircuts/waxing I recommend going here. My nose grows hair like crazy and I get it cleared whenever I come by.

I got medium size acrylic nails shaped like coffin, some fingers are cut different sizes, it, my fingers were hurting throughout the process and were super sensitive and still are. The only thing that actually turned out great was the nail polish being applied, my nails don’t look stupidly bad but they could’ve looked/ been done better

Price gouging, inconsistent pricing, the pregnant worker with TV screen glasses is a crook who makes up her own prices period

Daniel is such a kind person and cuts hair efficiently and gently. No scrapes or hair tugging like some other salons. He does a really nice fade. I can see why he is so popular. Glad I found this place!

Amazing service and smiling faces creates very welcoming atmosphere, and you learn something new about your hair every time since Dan is absolutely an expert in his field. Very professional and polite, would definitely recommend to everyone to pay a visit. Before, every barber shop I went was a hit and miss but you can definitely trust this place!
