Northern Inn & Steak House

I travelled up to Thompson and used this restaurant for catering our meetings and I can't even put into words how good the food was. Not only did they allow us to customize our menu but it was all homemade and SO DELISH! If I could give 10/5 stars I would. WOW!

Great home made bread, but the rest of the food isn't special. I'd rather make a meal at home. Washrooms are always disgusting.

Came for breakfast with my coworkers and ordered explorers breakfast; steak to be medium well. Got my order and my steak was very well done. Called the attention of the male server to it and told him I asked for medium well but I got very well done, the table was shaking when I was trying to cut into it. He said “that’s nice” and I told him no then he walked away saying he’d get our server and doesn’t know what I was talking about. Our server came and she acknowledged that the steak was very well done, apologized and took it back to get another one made. Waited for another half hour and nothing came. I must say I was very disappointed especially the nasty attitude of the male server. I’m not sure why he needed to take his anger out on me.

Steak and eggs are always on point. Delicious homemade bread for the toast and tasty potatoes round out their killer breakfast options. A highlight every time I roll into town.

Fantastic food. Homeade quality breakfast. I get perogies with a side of perogies. A perogie order has more onions and bacon than if its a breakfast side. Homeade bread is great. Prices would please your grandparents.

Could of been better. Fried mushrooms were still frozen and my pickerel could of been cooked more. I’ll try the steak next time.

Pretty bad when the workers don't know what there doing sometimes spaghetti really good

Sat down to breakfast at 8am and breakfast was at my table at 815am
Food was hot and good
Service was great
Did not have to wait for refils of coffee
