Stayed here for the first time. Room was large, very clean, and quiet.

Yes there is a nightly parking fee which is kind of a downer, but for the price of the room and location of the hotel so close to the Forks and St. Boniface it's worth it.

Yes, the area is safe. (Unlike another review said) It's just in the older french section of the city.

This is a great hotel if you want quiet, clean rooms while being close to downtown. I will be staying here again.

I have no complaints regarding the hotel itself. However, they need to revisit their policy on cancellation. I was scheduled to stay Jan 31 - Feb 2/24. Due to no fault of my own Calm Air canceled the fight from The Pas to Wpg. So after talking to reservations and the supervisor I will still be charged for a full day plus extras. I was trying to move my stay to another date. Shameful business practice. If you’re travelling for medical reasons from the north I strongly recommend that you check with other hotels regarding their cancellation policies. Norwood Hotels just made a fast $200 off me.

All I can say is it's waaaay overpriced! Our In-Laws were in town so my Mother-in-law could get some tests done at St Boniface Hospital. They took a couple of seniors for $180 per night for a room with a double bed. When I spoke to the front desk manager, he gave me a story about how much of a deal we were getting considering occupancy. Doesn't change the fact they got a couple of seniors for a guaranteed room for two nights and when I brought it up to them, they politely told me to beat it. Never again folks!

We have had our Mirror X rented out for both a Halloween Party at the restaurant and for a wedding in the banquet room. Both times we were incredibly impressed with the event coordinators and staff. The most recent one, the wedding they accommodated our set-up time with no issue, had everything ready for when we arrived and were incredibly helpful and friendly. They offered suggestions when we found we needed a bit more room. If you are looking for a venue for an event I would highly recommend the Norwood Hotel!

A bit removed from the core but walkable, lots of reasonably priced restaurants all around. I recommend this location quiet.

I did not stay here, only attended a meeting, and went for supper. The restaurant was a little pricey by Winnipeg standards, but food was great.

I couldn't think of another place with the rates, quality of service the convenience of access to this great city than this location. Take a look yourself but know from a pegger themselves. Top-notch for this rate.

They charge for parking. And if some else is paying with their credit card, they need to see the card. They don't accept the number or talking to the person on the phone. They don't tell you this in advance or in their advertisements. Nice clean hotel and rooms though.

Pet friendly. Across from a very good Italian restaurant, 100% recommended. Also across from Mcdonald and Shopper. Clean room, friendly staffs. Parking is extra and above ground. Beer store beside the hotel

Nice job last you’ve dumped firewood on the back laying you don’t own the city owns and to think I was going to the beer store end up going to the next beer store

This is a nice clean hotel and I would stay there again as it has reasonable rates. It was clean and the service was excellent. The rooms were spotless.

However the bathrooms have a few issues especially for people with some mobility issues. The sink is in an alcove with the shampoos etc in there and there is a door to the bathtub and toilet room.
The bathtub does not have a grab bar. And there is no place to put shampoo etc. The water never got more than somewhat warm. Even at 6: 00 a.m. The bottom of the tub is slippery though there is a rubber mat for the tub. The floor mat is tiny and the floor itself can be slippery. There is only one towel bar for towels. So not great for two people. Though there were enough towels.
The heating in the room is ok and can be controlled somewhat but don’t go close to the window as it is not well insulated and a cold in the winter.

I really enjoyed it here. The room's pillows and mattress were very comfortable. Location was perfect and on the main strip- noise was not an issue from our room. Rooms are up-to-date but small. We had no issues with parking despite a smaller lot (parking also cheaper than hotels next door). Would definitely stay again!

Has a decent help, the café it's reasonable, I requested to change my room due the bed as I have a few rucksack issues and they give me another room, simply I'm holding up that the store is return

The best thing is they maintain the proper hygiene in the hotel, and there food is too yum must visit place

Don’t stay here if you’d like to sleep. I’m currently staying here and it’s horrible. Thought it was great until on night 2, a business event across the hall from me was extremely loud and kept the door open. You really shouldn’t have event spaces directly across from rooms. My last night (Saturday), there was a big party going on below me in the event space. I puked hear all the music and the bass was giving me a headache. I called reception to complain and ask when it would be over. She said she’d call back and never did. 30+ minutes later I called and she didn’t seem phased when she said that the event goes to midnight but they lower the volume at 11! I was very upset and she didn’t apologize or offer a solution or anything. Poor quality and very poor customer service

Its on a one way st. Loop around in circles all day to get in. Tight parking. Wood tavern was good. Breakfast.menu barely. Anything on it Had coffee and left.no micro. One stop was enough.
