Oak Hammock Marsh Wetland Discovery Centre

Spent the afternoon walking the Marsh trails which can be accessed any time without cost. Special gift: seeing the two Trumpeter Swans flying about.

Lovely visit. Great staff and beautiful trails. They have more events than I was aware of, check out their website.
Their trails were very well groomed. We were able to easily walk with a stroller.

Had a really fun time with my husband here. The tour was fun with the ability to use binoculars. I also really loved going canoeing. Also, the cafeteria had very good food and had gluten free options for me too which I appreciated.

The trail is all covered by grasses, and can be very tall (from ankle to shoulders).
you can see geese, ducks and eagles.

I loved it here, so much to see that I need to come back to get in the rest of it. The staff were all amazing, helpful and made my experience more enjoyable and fun.

Superbe bel accueil, personnel souriant, impliqué et patient! Le centre du marais présente une exposition de tous les oiseaux qu'il nous est possible de rencontrer sur le site. Les gens qui y travaillent sont passionnés et toutes les questions qui nous viennent par la tête sont très bien répondues. On peut louer des canoës et faire le tour des marais tout doucement, on peut tout aussi bien marcher pendant des heures en attendant le moment parfait pour apercevoir un bel oiseau. Le site regorge de bernaches et d'hirondelles. Une terrasse permet de voir l'ensemble du marais et de prendre de superbe photos.en fait, amoureux ou non des oiseaux, il faut absolument faire un petit détour vers ce lieu magnifique.

Great learning space. Thought there would be a few more walking trails, but it's just one board walk. Lots to learn and very hands-on

Visited recently with my grandma. We had a lovely day. Paid to go in and see the exhibit and the marsh area with docks.
Staff were plessant, lots of birds, and I walked away with lots of amazing photos!

The Marsh and exhibits were amazing.

But cafe is awful. Strongly recommend against it, bring your own snacks. Very slow service as they have a tiny frier. 40 minutes for a hot dog can really put a damper on an otherwise fun day (I came here two years ago and it was the same, so it clearly wasn't a one-off).

Lots of great trails to walk as well as they have a great discovery center for the whole family.

Nice and peaceful place. The admission fee is $10 per adult for access to the exhibit and the observation deck but you can walk around the wetland without paying the admission. The cafe also serves decent food.

We had such a fun day here with our 2 young kids. There are tons of indoor activities during the winter and we enjoyed snowshoeing outside as well! The staff were so friendly!

Spring time when there's half melted snow on the trails, the center is closed, not a great time to be there.

Had a fantastic date here. It's not busy in the winter time so we had the cafe mostly to ourselves:)
