Old No 12 Cafe & Lounge

Every time I go there the food is awesome. The staff are always friendly. The food is always fresh and hot. I would highly recommend you go if You haven't. You don't know what you're missing.

Ah the old number 12. Not much to say, foods great, it’s friendly and nice, feels like home? The old style aesthetic is welcoming and it’s just so good. You gotta eat here

Ok, our first experience the food was excellent but had the oops of almost breaking my teeth by finding a part for the potatoe cutter they have in my mouth. Picture posted already. Today the food was morbid. Total let down. I was hoping for a real chicken burger like most restaurants to find eating fake meat. The sauce for the mozza sticks looked like red vomit and had zero taste. Had no sauce for my battered mushrooms. Hubby was very disappointed from his supreme poutine fries were nasty. Burnt flavour had no gravy, nothing! Staff was rude on the phone. Will not be coming to this restaurant ever again.
I'm a professional chef please do better with your hiring and hire someone that actually knows how to cook! The 5 stars you get are your family members that don't want to hurt your feelings.

First visit. Clean and cozy.
Food: 4 for 3 platter (Battered mushrooms, thai bites, chicken wings, loaded potato skins) and a 3 in 1 platter. (butterfly shrimp, pierogies and onion rings) all very good- we definitely over ordered and took some home!
Outdoor seating also available.

Your high rating is true. Chicken fingers are 100% with the honey dill. Not a tad over cooked. The lady in the front was very nice. I was in a conversation on the phone out in the parking lot and a sweet lady walked out to hand me my food after I ordered. Then the little utensil satchel that was in the bag was so wicked. I dunno I like little things like that. The honey dill portion was absolutely the perfect amount. I find that other restaurants give you so little of it. Coming back for a burg next time.

The food was very good. My only issue was the server. She was ok? Not overly friendly, to the point of slightly rude. She did make a mistake with my order. It happens. That was okay she did apologize and offer to remake the item. Honestly, i don't think she really listened, I guess we weren't regular customers. Banana muffin was so good! It was even still warm and fresh.

Nice lively little restaurant. The waitress was very nice, even brought our order outside since we couldnt go indoors due to my son's medical reason at the moment. Our breakfast was really good too.

We eat here at least once a month. Every weekend if our schedule allows. Food is always amazing, service is great and portions are incredible for the price!

Good food, portions are shrinking with prices increasing, typical small town diner issues with costs today. Sadly I can drive to the large town nearby and pay much less including gas and not be expected to tip for takeout.

Amazing service the food was great I had the sampler platter and I would go back again any day for it
