Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

When we got there, they said there was a 15 minutes wait. It turned out 2 hours. We had our baby crying and everyone starving. Their lie make the night terrible. Why not being realistic about the wait? I would not have waited if they told me the truth. Never going back there.

We had a bday reso for 10 people on a Friday. Seated in an appropriate time frame. Food came quickly and tasted really good. Did not skimp on the salad and breadsticks.

Great food and great service, had Hannah and she was so sweet and was very accommodating:)

Always always try to make reservations some nights are absolutely nuts, but my wife absolutely loves the food and the experience. I find the Alfredo to be on the creamy side.

More like it used to be years ago. …better service and hotter fresher food. Seems like they are at least trying and you can not say that about a lot of places these days

Picked up some food, and called when I got home as there was an issue with my order. They immediately asked for my address and delivered fresh food along with free extras (2 pieces of cake, more breadsticks, chocolate and more). Was very impressed. The new food was delivered about 30 mins after I made the call.

Usually when you call to complain about an order, a restaurant will offer a replacement meal the next time you come in, but Olive Garden delivered the new food immediately

We had amazing service from Amani. She was great! I love the unlimited breadsticks soup and salad option. Food is a good portion. The only complaint I have is I don’t eat pork and all of their meat sauces has pork which limited my food options. I would be awesome if they had a variety of meat sauce.

It was training day there.
We enjoyed the meal and service. Will go back sooner then later

Service was a little slow to start but manager came and apologized for the server mixup. A free appetizer was provided and service was then super friendly and efficient

It was great.the manager was superb because my sister's food (chicken) one is undercooked but the other one is ok.the manager came over and solved the situationand gave us free dessert for everyone even i didn't taste the dessert. THANX manager, i couldn"t thank her 'cause i left right away to work that time.

Its okay for food. Love salad at the polo park location. But the salad in regent area seems has too much salad dressing.

Food is usually good here.love the calamari but I wish they'd make that cucumber & melon drink available all the time

I went to the olive garden on a business lunch today. I haven't been in 10 years. We were greeted in a cheerful way and welcomed in. We asked for somewhere quiet and near a plug and the manager jumped in and made a accurate suggestion. Our waitress was quick and knowledgeable and made great suggestions. The food was delicious! Service was attentive and just right. I highly recommend. Food for value was incredible. Sanitation was on point and bathrooms were soo clean. You must go

The food was great and the kitchen was very fast eve! Though it was very busy.

Tip: It is kind of loud and difficult to have in depth conversations.

Place an order to go online for 6 people. Everything was exactly as we ordered. Generous portions and affordable!

Never ending soup, salad and bread sticks.mmmmm, so good. Staff was prompt and efficient. Place is nice and clean, well appointed. Vaxx ID procedures properly followed. Lovely lunch.

I went there with my family at this location. I must must say. This was really good experience of having excellent customer service, food and hospitality. It was quick check at the entrance need not to wait longer for our table. And the girl who took our order and serve was fabulous. Her way of serving was excellent communicate well. Always smile on her face and quick serving. Amazing service by her. I could not remember her name. 2 of my family members were came from England. They were too impressed with her service, food and every thing.

Suggestion to the restaurant is. Please keep adding such kind of wonderful and talented employee in your team. Amazed

Stopped for a lunch. Very, very, very tasty Chicken Parm and Spaghetti. Marinara sauce was great. BS (bread sticks) were good. Salad was perfect. House red was good enough. I just couldn't find anything to complain about. Friendly staff that don't ask you how you are doing when your mouth is full of delicious Italian fare Music in the lounge was heavy on the Sinatra but tolerable. BNN on one TV and sports center on the second got me caught up quick on the days events. Fed held rates and the Jays are rolling. I will be back again of course. Thanks

August 15/21. All restrictions have been lifted in Manitoba and yet, this restaurant forced my party, including two elderly, to wait outside in high heat (near thirty degrees) for our table and refused to let us wait in the foyer even though the dining room was empty and our table was clean. When I asked the hostess to reconsider and let us in, she wouldn't even discuss it with me and after we were finally let in, her manager came to our table, embarrassed me infront of my party and accused me of being rude to the hostess for telling her that I wasn't happy about waiting outside and forced us all to leave.
What customer service representative can't handle negative feed back? Where do they get the right to treat customers with such disrespect. This is a horrible establishment and the staff should really reconsider weather or not they belong in customer service.

Excellent food, host should of been trained to realize it was my birthday after seeing my license, would of been Excellent If they had of noticed would of been perfect customer service they can improve on.

Service was terrible. It took 10mins for someone to come to our table to ask if we wanted beverages. The waiter never introduced himself. When he brought my wine he didnt poor any in the glass for me. We had a change in wait staff but no one notified us of it. Someone else just started coming to oit table.
I will not be going back!

Always a favorite w my kids. Very nice waiter on this visit even though he wasn't supposed to be our waiter and was clearly busy. (Apparently they had sat us in a section that wasn't covered.) Serviceable food as always and who can resist their salad?

Love the place.love the smell, the service, the soup, breadsticks and the salad. Also the many different entries. Worth going to.

Meh! Typical OG grub the menu is stale and dated flavors are bland its become a stale place to visit

I went here tonight and our server William was super nice. He had the perfect amount of enthusiasm, and was very patient as we were struggling to order. It was overall a great experience!

Always great to go here in the afternoon for soup, salad and breadsticks! If you order right you can also eat here for quite cheap!

Waited 15 minuets before our order was taken and then another 20 minutes to receive any of the unlimited soup salad or breadsticks that I ordered. I ended up getting charged for a garden salad in addition to the cost of the Unlimited soup salad and breadstick menu item.

Just a heads up they don’t take in person take out orders. I was told to phone my order to them or order online and wait in the parking lot. Online system was nice though knew how long the wait was before ordering! Which was way too long to stand in a parking lot waiting for soup lol.

Did pick up. The food was tasty, but the meal salad for $9 was waaaaay too small to be a meal. It was a side salad. Which was disappointing

The service is always impeccable. The food is tasty and well presented. Thr chocolate brownie lasagna was death by chocolate. A very good dinner.

Over priced. Lobster and shrimp mac and cheese was fishy and a very small portion for the $26 it cost. Could've had more noodles and sauce. Other 2 dishes we had, had twice the amount of food.

Great for a casual, easy-going meal with family or friends. Friendly table service, convenient location near Kildonan Place Shopping Centre. Expect a wait during peak dining times.

Our server, Vanessa (?), was amazing. We advised her my husband has an intolerance to onion so she checked what sauces were safe. The kitchen staff told her the bolognese was safe which she knew and we all knew was wrong but they still insisted. So she advised us to ignore the cooks and order from the 3 other options he had. Sure enough, onions were in the bolognese on everyone else's plates. Two of our five orders were cold. But the server was on top of refills and breadsticks. She was pleasant and obviously caring since she was concerned for my husband.

Food was great service was very good let the pasta. They served in my plate wasn't even enough for a 5 year old I always thought pasta was cheap

I took my family there for dinner on New Year's Eve. Our server was Kevin. Both the food and the service were absolutely excellent. Far better than what we've gotten in the past sometimes at Olive Garden. If this is the norm going forward, we will be going there often and I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Just came from lunch. Service was really fast. Food served hot. If you want a quick lunch, this is the place to go.

Love love. My favourite restaurant due to bottomless soup and salads. Thats all i eat when i go there. Affordable meal, tasty and filling due to the all you can eat soups and salads.

Our server, Vanessa, was fantastic. Food was delicious and portion sizes were huge. Would have been 5 stars but the cooks didn't know what was in the meat sauce. Fortunately, Vanessa did so I could avoid an allergy issue.

The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. I would have liked crackers for my soup instead of the bread sticks.

I've been going to this restaurant since 2007 and every time I go my favorite dish to order is the cheese ravioli dish.
It used to be amazing, it had that light sweet cheese taste inside the pasta I used to enjoy it when I eat it.few months ago we went to oliv garden and as usual I ordered my cheese ravioli I noticed something different in The Taste.the taste was blend I did not enjoy it at all, and then when I talked to the waitress and I asked her for the reason why does it taste different this time she said she checked with the chef and the chef told her that they have changed the recipe 6 months ago.
All I can say is shame on you Olive Garden for changing the recipe for the most delicious dish you ever had.
Its too bad you lost one loyal customer that will not show up at your restaurant at all.
Olive Garden used to be number one for me but now I don't even consider putting oliv garden in the bottom of my restaurant list.
One more thing while we were having a nice dinner "supposedly" we noticed all the wall pictures were gone and the restaurant looked disgusting and unorganized and all that because they were doing renovation. If you are doing renovation in any kind of business you do not open your doors for customers specially when you are a restaurant which requires a beautiful nice clean space.
If there was anything less than one star I would choose it because they don't even deserve 1 star rating.

The place is wonderful, the waiter is excellent, so nice, so kind and understanding. I also love the food.

Service was great, but the meal I ordered had so much salt it was unedible. They quickly brought me a replacement meal and it was very good.

It's alright. I find you get much better service at the portage location. There was nothing wrong with the service here, it's just that the olive garden on portage has had amazing service the past few times I've been there.

First time ever eating at olive garden and I'm 38 lol I honestly csnt believe I've never tried it before. It was amazing.

We weren't too pleased with our waitress she could visibly see I'm pregnant and still offered wine then we had to ask several times for the bread sticks before being brought bread sticks that were starting to get hard we both ordered the endless pasta bowl and she was taking so much the both of us only had enough of having to wait for her we only had one bowl the olive garden on portage Ave is much better oh and to start I went to the washroom and the lady that left the stall urinated all over the seat but that isn't their fault

Friendly staff and good food. Only qualm would be that it's to busy, and sometime you need to wait a long time for a table. But if that's a issue you can make reservations for off hours.

Delicious but damn. Be careful cos it's easy to eat too much.
They sometimes give out samples of wine which is nice. Complimentary ice cream for the birthday prsn if applicable.
Be prepared to eat 1000+ calories in one sitting

Excellent food and even though we had one issue with wrong order they corrected it, took it off our bill and gave us free desert.way above anything I expected

Food was great, though this time our food tool ages to arrive, however, because of this we got free desert WOOOOO!

We went here to celebrate 2 birthdays with a party of 14. We ended up leaving completely dissatisfied. Missing meals, meals coming out 10 minutes apart, undercooked and overcooked meals.

The garlic and herb chicken con brocolli is back they said. Don't be fooled. It is not back. Not even close. The server was great though! Food - not great. Stars were only given because of the friendly staff.

Not my first bad experience, but this one made me write this. Came in for an early dinner, 2 small groups waiting before us. Told they were waiting for servers to start and to take a seat, it'll be about 5 minutes. 10 mins go by and one group was taken to their table. Now it's filling up in the waiting area. 5 mins go by and the next small group is taken. Cool our turn next! WRONG.they start seating groups that came in well after our group of 2. After two groups got taken after it was our turn, it was a 20 minute wait and we got up and walked out. They didnt didnt take our name and when we offered it they said no no it'll be ok. Well it wasnt and we were forgotten about.
We will be contacting a manager.
