Oliver Professional Dog and Cat Grooming Spa

For the Latin community that is looking for an excellent job for their pet, Oliver is definitely the one!
I went to a well-known chain company in Winnipeg on 2 occasions and it is not even remotely close to the work done by Oliver!

I take my cat to Oliver for grooming. He is a Himalayan Rag cross with Snowshoe Siamese. I cant groom him as he wont let me but he is good for Oliver and the cat comes back unstressed. Every other groomer my cat was stressed and nervous but not at Oliver's. He gives him a Lion cut. Great friendly service. So happy I found him.

Oliver is very easy to talk to, kind and very polite. He did a great job grooming our cat Tiger.

Not impressed. The groom was good but service was terrible. Showed up early but didn’t answer the door, text or calls. He said his phone might be on silent which is strange coz he managed to reply to my text before I left the house. Someone else was waiting for the same schedule in the driveway (also a new customer). She left after 10 minutes and I left 5 minutes after her. Oliver finally called me on my way home. Went back, figured I’ll give him another chance. Said all lies, he didn’t hear the text or calls or doorbell (even though his dogs were barking inside the house). Not very welcoming with a new customer. Went back after over 3 hrs, rang the doorbell again, no answer, he opened the garage door, I went in but couldn’t find him so made my way to the back. Knocked on the door and after a few seconds I tried opening the door coz I assumed it’s ok. He opened it as I was opening it and looked annoyed. Didn’t offer for me to come in just passed me Heidi and walked me out. Told me next time I could wait in the car. There will be no next time for sure! This is not the way you conduct a business!

Knows how to cut but awful at communicating.

I called and said I was there to pick up my dog to which he said on the phone to “come on in”, and so I did.
Met him on the way with my dog on leash and sassed to “just stay out back there, take it easy” and gave my dog to me with such attitude, which he whined how he can only take one dog at a time.

Poor customer service.

What an amazing experience. My fiancée was really nervous leaving our dog somewhere for grooming/haircut. After reading reviews I decided to trust going to Oliver which was the best decision I made. Super friendly! Amazing with our little dog! Amazing skill and attention to detail. Definitely going back! Thank You Oliver.

I used Oliver a few times, initially it was great but the last time we had a bloody paw from the nail clipping. It can happen I guess, …. A terrible storm hit where the city was almost closed and we missed our grooming appointment. We did however inform Oliver and he felt that it was not acceptable; therefore a $35 fee will be applied to both dogs for a total of $70! I didn’t rebook and he has lost out only $120 quarterly. Or $500 a year from one guy.
I have only experienced this at a dentist, but due to the weather we were unable. I don’t feel this is appropriate, but that is my opinion. I would not recommend Oliver.

Brought my cat in recently for his first grooming since I’ve adopted him. Unfortunately, my cat turns into an actual demon, so was a bit nervous leaving him, but Oliver assured me that he would do his best.

Unfortunately he wasn’t able to get to his nails, as my cat will likely require sedation in the future for grooms, but Oliver did an amazing job grooming him and getting him cleaned, especially considering how aggressive my cat was.

Will be bringing my cat back to Oliver in the future!

So amazing! Oliver is such a pro! He is so chill (calm) and made my nervous wife feel very at ease about letting her cat get her nails trimmed and and proper trim of the sensitive area where fur was matting. Oliver was so fast and did such a great job! He only requested ⅔ of what he quoted for a price. We left a 30%tip because he was so incredible! Highly recommend taking your precious fur babies to this magic man!

I took my 15 week old yorkie, Chip, for his first grooming experience. Oliver was amazing! He is SO kind and so gentle. I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with Oliver. When I went to pick him up, Chip looked sooooo cute! It was exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be taking my puppy to see Oliver again and again. Highly recommend! Thank you again Oliver!

The first experience of another groomer was bad, the cat was held by 4 people, she screamed and was nervous, they stopped work 15 minutes later, they gave us the cat and said that they would not take it anymore, we lost hope, but here is a miracle, read in on Facebook about Oliver, he just said I will try.and everything worked out our hemolay cat again has a master, came home ate and started playing.thank you very much Oliver!

I can’t express how happy I am with Oliver’s service. He’s extremely professional and polite. He is exceptional at what he does and humble it.
Oliver called me about half an hour before my early morning appointment and sent a text with directions.
When I arrived he asked great questions to get a clear idea of what I wanted for my dogs fur.
Oliver texted me once he was done grooming my dog and when I came to pick up Shia he took him for a little walk to get some of the extra fur off and have him move around a bit after being pampered.
My dogs fur is incredibly soft and he smells amazing.
You can really tell Oliver takes extreme pride in his work and treats your pets like his own.
Oliver came highly recommended by a friend and I will definitely be returning.
Best groomer in the city by far with amazing rates too.

Highly recommend Oliver to anyone who needs their fur babies groomed! Dusty no longer comes home worn out from stress like he has with other groomers. Which we appreciate very much as he is in his senior years now. He’s also just a naturally anxious dog who doesn’t like certain parts of his body groomed. Great experience. My bigger dog had a first time appointment for her nails and was told she did great! We asked if he could take a look at the smaller dogs nails as she bites them, and they needed doing, so he said he would do hers as well. Thank you quick and efficient.

I just had my dog Bella done with Oliver and he did suck a amazing job with her. My dog can get a little stressed out and a bit nervous when it comes to getting haircuts. As soon as she seen him she went to him when i went to pick her up she was calm with him wasn't running to me which is a good sign. Bella will be back and i will be telling people about Oliver! Omg Oliver was amazing with my two fluff balls of cats, I asked for a lions cut and.i got back two little lions, then went as cats with long long fur to come back as purrfect little lions.
