Om Indian Cuisine

The food here is very tasty, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a daily buffet and I am a huge fan of that. If you're in portage and wanna try Indian food, this is a must go.

We were at my mother and father in laws visiting and decided to try Om - highly recommended! We will definitely get take out or dine in from here again! Service was exceptional - highly recommend paneer dishes, naan and any curry (in particular fish curry).

This restaurant has been in Portage la Prairie for quite awhile and finally decided to check it out. Fantastic food and service. Tried some familiar items and a few new ones. Best part there was enough food for a couple of days. Don’t sleep on the desserts, they are excellent.

Wow. So understanding. We live in Calgary and placed a go order by mistake. You were very gracious to let us off the hook. It would have been a two day drive to pick it up!

The food was bursting with flavour and it was so delicious and so many different verities for a buffet. The host was so sweet and gave us extra special attention.the restaurant is very clean and well kept as far as I could tell. I highly recommend this hidden Gem

Here for the first time and we had a fantastic lunch! The lemon fish curry and lamb biryani were wonderfully delicious! Their homemade yogurt was amazing, it’s not your usual yogurt. Ambiance and decor is great, the place is sparkly clean and the staff are so nice and pleasant. We will definitely go here again on our next visit to Portage La Prairie.

I was visiting Portage La Prairie and this place has the best food in town and they’re very friendly and polite when you order. We had delivery and the food was still hot and everything was fresh. Also really good chai.

Had a lovely spontaneous dinner with my 2 kids. The food here was amazing. Huge portions. My youngest was happy that there were also chicken fingers and fries (and ketchup!) here as he wasn't in the mood for anything new today.the lady who was serving us was wonderful with him (he has autism). We enjoyed the Bollywood videos playing on the screens and the place was very accessible and spotless. There were only a couple of other tables being served at the time we went, which was nice too. Lots of take outs there I think. Definitely will go back!

Dined here a couple of weeks ago. The food is amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We’ve ordered the samosas quite a few times. They are also helpful in recommending dishes that go well together.

We were travelling from Ontario and took a stop at their resturaunt. Food was! Customer service was We ordered veg manchurian, dal makhani and tandoori roti. I must say the food was so homely and delicious! A must visit!

Very friendly service and super good aloo tikki chaat. We were just driving through and wanted something quick and tasty. Wish I could try everything on the menu!

This place is fantastic! The food is amazing the staff are friendly. I recommend the tikka masala and cheese naan.

Actually we were detoured and accidentally reached there. Thought we were glad to see Indian restaurant and were in a hurry. We purchased some samosas, chicken biriyani and fish curry during lunch time. When we opened up the takeout it was a mess as the packing was not good enough and ut was mixed up the sauce and the rice were scattered in the kit. When we tried to eat unfortunately there were no spoons. It was the first time i was seeing those salads and it's a actually just a curd without onions and chillies. Better to see a friendly and nice person on the front desk. Overall it was a mixed experience and hope you gonna improve next time.

Was recommended Om Indian cuisine by someone on our drive from Toronto to Vancouver, will definitely visit again on the drive back.

Ordered like 8 dishes and everything was soooo good. The flavours were insane and the food was extremely filling. I would not change anything, everything was perfect. Had a Very happy and nice server and did his job very well. Highly recommend!

They have buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We tried that and it was good. I think Chicken biriyani which is not included in buffet needs to be improve little but more delicious one. I ordered one spicy chicken biriyani and it was not that much good. But, it was okay. Overall its fine. It is one of the 2 indian restaurants in portage la prairie.

Delicious food (best samosas in Manitoba!), courteous and friendly service, prepared as ordered. They exceed my expectations every time!
