Omand Park

Great place to watch the northern lights. I've only been here late a night and can say it's deserted. Apart from the casual late night jogger.

Lovely park with a bike trail running through it. It should be noted, however, that the creek often floods in the spring and makes some of the trails inaccessible. Exercise due caution.

I always go to the park during Spring and Summer. It is safe, clean and quiet. The path to the park was flooded this year though. I don’t know if there is another way in.

Sledding into the creek, loads of exploration available along the creek and river. Baseball diamonds are well kept in summer.
